Abstract: A tilting member has a force bearing portion to which operating force is applied, and a supported surface. A supporting member has a supporting projection with which the supported surface of the tilting member may come in contact. When the operating force is applied to the tilting member, the tilting member tilts with respect to the supporting member. The supporting member supports the tilting member at a supporting point where the supporting projection of the supporting member is in contact with the supported surface of the tilting member, about which supporting point the tilting member tilts. The tilting of the tilting member, with respect to the supporting member, establishes a predetermined electrical contact.
Abstract: An ultra-wide angle liquid crystal projector system comprising a light source, a liquid crystal panel, a curved screen, and a projection lens for projecting in accordance with light emitted by the light source an image formed on the liquid crystal panel onto the curved screen. The projection lens has a curvature of field substantially conforming to the shape of the curved screen and an angle of projection of at least 120 degrees. The projection lens is disposed with respect to the curved screen so that a distance from an exit surface of the projection lens to the curved screen is less than 3 meters.
Abstract: A control key device includes a casing having a generally dome-shaped portion provided at an arbitrary part of the casing, the dome-shaped portion having a top surface and a hole provided at a central part of the dome-shaped portion, a substrate provided within the casing and having a plurality of electrical contacts, a resilient member provided on the substrate and having a plurality of bulges at positions corresponding to the electrical contacts of the substrate, each of the bulges having an electrically conductive portion which makes electrical contact with a corresponding one of the electrical contacts when the bulge is resiliently deformed, a contact pressing member provided on the resilient member and having a plurality of legs at positions corresponding to the bulges of the resilient member, and a key secured on the contact pressing member via the hole in the dome-shaped portion of the casing, the key having a home position and a tilted position.
Abstract: A control key device having a contact member which comprises at least a first and second contact portion such that when an operating force is applied to the first contact portion the second contact portion is caused to touch the first contact portion so that predetermined electrical contact is established. The causing of the second contact portion touching the first contact portion results from an operating force elastically transforming the shape of the contact member. A tilting mechanism is provided by a guiding member of predetermined shape having a through hole. The tilting mechanism functions to tilt the contact member in response to an operating force applied to the contact member. The contact member has a key portion and a pad portion defining a home position and a tilted position.
Abstract: Disclosed is a simulator includes a substantially circular outer frame pivotally mounted on a base; an outer frame-driving tire which is pressed against an outer side of the outer frame by means of a spring disposed on the base and is adapted to drive the outer frame; an inner frame formed in a maneuvering seat and pivotally supported between opposing portions of an inner peripheral wall of the outer frame; and an inner frame-driving tire which is pressed against an inner side of the outer frame by means of a spring disposed within the inner frame and is adapted to drive the inner frame. Also disclosed is an occupant holding apparatus for use in the simulator.

Abstract: A head-mounted image display comprising a housing for covering both the eyes of the user, a support for mounting the housing on the head of the user, an image light emitting unit provided at a predetermined position in the housing for emitting image light, a pair of right and left convex lenses provided at both the eyes in the housing for enlarging the image produced by the image light emitting unit, and an optical system provided within the housing for guiding the image appearing on the image light emitting unit to the pair of right and left convex lenses.
Abstract: An arcade game which can have simulated objects, such as race horses traversing a simulated race track, can further have video images generated which will represent the same positional relationship of the objects. The track can positionally sense the actual position of the moving objects and an image forming circuit can be responsive to the positional data to generate computer images from a variety of angles based on background images of the track and of the individual horses to project a realistic computer image for observers.
Abstract: A medal game machine adapted to use a multiplicity of medals and to apportion them to the player who bet medals and won in a game. The machine comprises an enclosure having an open central portion on its front side, a display unit mounted in the center of the head portion of the enclosure, a flat half mirror located below the display unit, a georama forming a background, illuminators equipped with dimmers for illuminating the georama, and satellites mounted outside the front of the enclosure. The half mirror is inclined at about 45.degree. and extends downwardly toward the front of the enclosure from a high position on the rear surface of the enclosure. The georama is fixedly mounted on the rear surface of the enclosure behind the position at which a virtual image of the picture on the display unit is created by the half mirror. The satellites can be operated by human players.
Abstract: An optical assembly is provided to simulate the emission of a light beam such as a laser, so that it appears to extend a considerable distance from the observer. The optical device can be advantageously integrated with a video game system or a simulated gun, and includes an arrangement of reflecting and semitransparent mirrors that can define a field of view, for example, of a target area, and can superimpose images of a light emitting unit so that a light beam can apparently extend to a target while maintaining a compact configuration.
