Abstract: A method and system of providing users with dynamic content about a specific task during access of an application based on previous in-app activity by the app's community of users for the task. The system identifies experienced user activity that represents an efficient performance of the task. The activity is stored in a repository for use by a dynamic content generation module. When subsequent users appear to need assistance in performing the task, the system can present content that is based on the more experienced users' activity. As additional data is collected, this content can be updated.

Abstract: A termite detection and mitigation system can gather data describing conditions at a location, including the location's elevation, soil type, topography, weather conditions, and season. The termite detection and mitigation system can additionally obtain sensor data describing environmental conditions within a structure (e.g., a home or other building) at the location. Sensor data may be obtained using a termite sensing device placed within the structure. The termite detection and mitigation system can develop models that characterize how likely it is that termites are present within a structure based on its sensor data and associated location data. Using the models, the termite detection and mitigation system can alert users when there is a likelihood that termites are present. The termite detection and mitigation system can also deploy mitigation responses, such as poisons or sealants, to mitigate the termite intrusion.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and a method for extracting a computer readable code from a captured image of a mailpiece or parcel using downsampling and edge detection. The system can include a reader configured to capture an image of an item having a computer readable code positioned thereon and a processor in data communication with the reader. The processor can generate captured image data of the item including the computer readable code, downconvert the captured image data to generate a downconverted image data and detect an edge of the computer readable code. The processor can also identify a position of the computer readable code in the downconverted image data and store or process only the identified computer readable code.
Abstract: Aspects described herein may relate to a transaction exchange platform using a streaming data platform (SDP) and microservices to process transactions in accordance with corresponding workflows. The transaction exchange platform may generate configuration transaction objects to reconfigure microservices with salt values and time periods of salt value validity. Further, the microservices may retrieve transaction objects from a streaming data platform and generate hash signatures as part of determining the validity of the transaction objects. Furthermore, in some aspects the microservices may retrieve salt values for transaction objects that cannot be verified due to the absence of a hash signature. The salt values may be retrieved from a blockchain associated with the streaming data platform and may be used to update the microservice to include the salt value.
Abstract: A method and system of providing users with a tool to interact with content from a primary app through a secondary app are disclosed. The secondary app obtains source data from the primary app and determines whether the data includes labels that can trigger the application of a particular configuration in the presentation of the content. Changes made to the source data in the secondary app that relate to substantive or key data for the content do not affect the source data in the primary app. However, changes made in the secondary app that relate to non-substantive data can be propagated back to the primary app.

Abstract: A system and method may generate a test process a workflow operated by software by, using definitions of a workflow relating to software data processing and user interface (UI) elements, produce test case flows and UI element details, UI element details including UI actions and control types; map steps in test case flows to steps describing UI element details; and for each mapping produce a test script, Test case flows may include series of entries, each including a step, steps describing workflow sub-tasks and each step corresponding to UI actions. Each test script may include a series of UI actions, the UI actions including UI verify and input operations. UI actions may describe interactions with a UI element. UI actions may include validations (e.g. checking if the output or the result of a step matches what is expected, and producing a report) of a UI element.

Abstract: A system and method provide gasless, mechanized, field welding of an exterior of a tubular structure such as a pipeline, without the need for an enclosure. An embodiment consolidates some of the welding equipment on a skid for ease of transport to and from a remote worksite. The gasless weld may be achieved despite the presence of wind, by precisely controlling an arc voltage as disclosed. The footprint and weight of the system may be minimized, along with the associated labor, expense, and environmental impact otherwise incurred by conventional welding techniques using enclosures.
Abstract: The invention provides a lateral flow device and methods for the detection of antibodies to severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in a sample of bodily fluid of an animal or human. The test methods include contacting the sample with a conjugate comprising a recombinant SARS-CoV-2 spike protein antigen that has been conjugated to a detection agent, wherein an antigen-antibody complex is formed between the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein antigen conjugate and SARS-CoV-2 antibodies present in the sample; capturing the formed antigen-antibody complex with an Fc-binding molecule; and detecting the captured complex.
