  • Patent number: 10938673
Abstract: A method and system is disclosed herein for detecting one or more violations in managing service level agreements (SLA) in an information technology service management (ITSM). A batch job system is characterized by the set of jobs and dependencies between jobs. Each job is in turn characterized by run-time, from-time and SLA definitions. SLAs can be of two kinds Start-time and End-time. Start-time SLA requires that the job execution starts before the specified time while End-time SLA necessitates that the job finishes its execution before the specified time. To optimize processing time required for executing one or more batch jobs the disclosure identifies SLA violations and solves them to produce a set of actionable levers.

  • Patent number: 10935945
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for power generation and distribution according to various aspects of the present invention may operate in conjunction with a control system for controlling electrical power flowing between a main electrical grid providing main electrical grid power having a frequency, a supplemental power system, and a load. The control system may operate in conjunction with a switch system, wherein the switch system selectively connects the supplemental power system to the main electrical grid. A controller may be responsive to the main electrical grid power frequency and control the switch system. The controller may compare the main electrical grid power frequency to a first threshold and autonomously cause the switch system to connect the supplemental power system to the main electrical grid in response to the frequency of the main electrical grid power crossing the first threshold.

  • Patent number: 10938915
Abstract: Techniques are described for managing cookies, including separately managing cookie data associated with different browser tabs. Cookie management includes the isolation of whitelisted cookies from server responses into background storage and then back onto server requests, removing those cookies from the response header and thus from the cookie store. This isolation is managed with the concept of tab ownership between parent and child tabs to maintain isolation separately for each owner (e.g., the parent) and its children. Exposure to client pages is handled by placing those cookies into a keyed location in session storage for every tab where that cookie is to be visible. An event is then triggered for that client page to let it know that session storage has been updated.

  • Patent number: 10934824
Abstract: The present technology provides an electrically powered hydraulic fracturing system having pumps for pressurizing fracturing fluid, piping for carrying fracturing fluid, and vibration reducing equipment for use with the piping. The vibration reducing equipment includes helical coils that support the piping. The coils are made of a wire rope made of strands of steel cable twisted together. Grooved fittings are provided on some piping connections, and which allow pivoting between adjacent fluid conveyance members. Swivel joints are strategically located in the piping which allow rotational flexing between adjacent sections of the piping; thereby attenuating vibration in the piping but without stressing the piping.

  • Patent number: 10935459
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to methods and systems for unobtrusive and automated detection of frequencies of spatially located distinct parts of a machine. Location of vibration and detection of vibration frequency of each vibrating part in a machine is critical for routine monitoring and fault detection in the machine. Current solutions use either high frames per second (fps) industrial grade camera or stroboscopes tuned at one particular frequency. Manual stroboscopes require manual intervention for objects moving at different speeds with high convergence time. Point-lasers need prior knowledge of exact location of faults. Also Point-by-point scanning of a large machine body is time consuming. In the present disclosure, a movement detector such as RADAR enables detecting all vibration frequencies that also serve to reduce the search space of a stroboscope configured to start strobing at each detected vibration frequency to enable mapping of each vibration frequency to a corresponding vibrating part.

  • Patent number: 10938637
Abstract: A device receives, from a cloud computing environment, cloud instance information associated with cloud instances in the cloud computing environment, and processes the cloud instance information, with a machine learning model, to determine containers for one or more of the cloud instances and whether cloud instances should be removed from the cloud computing environment. The device causes a first subset of the cloud instances to be removed from the cloud computing environment, based on determining which of the cloud instances should be removed, and causes the containers to be created for a second subset of the cloud instances based on determining the containers. The device receives, from the cloud computing environment, cloud container information associated with the containers created in the cloud computing environment, and causes one or more of the containers to be scaled based on the cloud container information.
