The method comprises providing an extended-life calcium aluminophosphate cement composition comprising calcium aluminate cement, a polyphosphate, water, and a cement set retarder. The method further comprises mixing the extended-life calcium aluminophosphate cement composition with a cement set activator to activate the extended-life calcium aluminophosphate cement composition, introducing the activated extended-life calcium aluminophosphate cement composition into a subterranean formation, and allowing the activated extended-life calcium aluminophosphate cement composition to set in the subterranean formation.

Abstract: System and method for multi-level visualization of object lifecycle is provided. A visualization network displaying data associated with the object life cycle is provided. An object is selected from the visualization network to correlate the object across and within one or more object lifecycle stages from the visualization network by generating a relationship configuration. A multi-level visualization is generated for the selected object corresponding one or more object life cycle stage. The generated at least one multi-level visualization is modified based on a criterion of interest, the criterion of interest comprises one or more attribute associated with the selected object and relation derived from the relationship configuration.

Abstract: A monitoring system may include a position sensor, strain gauges, and a computing device for monitoring valves in a wellbore pressure pump having multiple chambers to determine cavitation in the fluid end of the wellbore pressure pump using strain measurements for each chamber. The strain gauges may determine strain in each chamber of the pressure pump. The position sensor may determine the position of a crankshaft mechanically coupled to a plunger in each chamber. The computing device may receive signals generated by the strain gauges and the position sensor related to the strain in each chamber and the position of the crankshaft, respectively, and may process the signals to determine delays in the actuation of the valves for identifying cavitation and distinguishing cavitation conditions from alternative conditions in the fluid end.

Abstract: Mobile nodes communicating in direct mode (DM) may be compelled, due to their mobility pattern, to switch to infrastructure mode (IM) via conventional uplink/downlink through base station (eNB) to maintain best possible link-quality. When mobile nodes move away from each other, Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) may degrade over D2D link, side link (SL), and eNB is forced to re-schedule nodes to IM, incurring additional delay and potential loss of packets in transit. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods that uses information such as flow size, transport layer type, bandwidth and RTT to determine whether request initiated by a mobile node for communication with another mobile node is of a particular transfer flow type and based on the request type (i) DM is enabled for communication or (ii) DM mode is disabled and initiates, within the mobile node, request to activate IM mode for communication.

Abstract: A security device is configured to monitor a predetermined area of interest covertly. The security device is portable and capable of running under its own power via an integrated battery. By mounting to structures or infrastructure, the security device can be placed in areas typically reserved for lighting. To maximize storage and battery capacity, a base of the security device is configured to reside within the structure when secured thereto. The security device includes at least one camera and a lighting element. A user can wirelessly control the security device via a handheld monitoring or user interface device.

Abstract: A system designed to control and filter runoff water in storm drains is presented. Drain water frequently carries trash, organic matter, suspended solids, hydrocarbons, metals, nutrients and bacteria collected from streets and parking lots into a storm drain inlet, which enters storm water drain pipe systems. The present invention supplies a series of baffle boxes inserted in the drain water stream with a final box possessing an upflow filter comprising filtration media and filter cartridges. The system can also support a storm flow bypass that directs high-flow storm runoff water directly to the outlet to protect the filter system.

Abstract: Apparatus and techniques are described, such as for obtaining information indicative of a formation resistivity near a casing, such as using an array laterolog apparatus. For example, raw measurements received from a well tool in a borehole near a casing may indicate a resistivity of a geologic formation through which the borehole extends. Any errors or interference in the raw measurements caused by the proximity of the well tool to the casing may be removed to eliminate the casing effect on the raw measurements. In some examples, a signal and formation libraries that include casing specific parameters may be used in conjunction with non-casing optimized signal and formation libraries to perform correction mapping of raw measurements. The corrections and their application to the raw measurements may be based on the position of a well logging tool with respect to a casing termination point.

Abstract: Security rule feedback systems and methods include capturing network traffic data, the network traffic data including a plurality of traffic records. The traffic records are grouped into first and second traffic records having corresponding first and second source address identifiers, first and second source port identifiers, first and second destination address identifiers, and first and second destination port identifiers. Network interfaces associated with the first and second records are identified based on source address identifiers. Security rule populations are associated to the network interfaces. A determination is made as to a direction of network traffic based on the security rule populations. Thereby, dispensable security rules may be identified.

Abstract: A method for routing customer service requests to call centers includes collecting data associated with customer service experience between a customer and a call center regarding a completed customer call. The collected data is analyzed to determine a quality of customer service for one or more completed calls between the customer and the call center. A nature of an incoming customer call is determined. The incoming customer call is routed to a call center based upon making reference to the analyzed collected data such that the nature of the customer call matches with corresponding one or more favorable attributes of the call center.

Abstract: A function disabler system includes a personal electronic device having at least one component such as a camera, and a processor having pulsed light communication software enabling receipt and transmission of pulsed light communication signals. The processor additionally includes a hosting customer software application, where the personal electronic device receives at least one pulsed light communication signal within a designated area and the pulsed light communication signal includes an instruction signal which instructs the hosting customer software application to disable the at least one component when the personal electronic device is positioned in the designated area.

Abstract: A system for generating and delivering custom data sets in a big data environment may receive a preselected schema that identifies a plurality of columns from a plurality of data sources for inclusion in an output data file. The system reads data from the data sources to generate a data file containing a big data table. The system monitors the plurality of data sources to detect that the data sources have been ingested into a data storage system. The data file is read and a column is filtered from the data file to generate the output data file in response to the preselected schema excluding the column. The output data file is transferred to a client device.

Abstract: A process for authenticating a communication device may include receiving an authentication request including an access credential having a timestamp generated by the communication device may be received by the server. A determination can be made as to whether the communication device had successfully executed a predetermined shutdown sequence by determining whether the access credential has reliable timestamp information. The communication device can be authenticated when the timestamp has a non-reset value indicating that the communication device had successfully executed the predetermined shutdown sequence, and that the access credential has not expired. Step-up authentication for the communication device can be requested when the access credential has unreliable timestamp information indicating that the communication device did not successfully execute the predetermined shutdown sequence.

An example system comprises a treatment fluid comprising a polyhydroxyetheramine, an acid, and an aqueous carrier fluid; mixing equipment capable of containing the treatment fluid; pumping equipment capable of pumping the treatment fluid into a wellbore; and the metal surface.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the use of a switch for the production of heterologous non-catabolic compounds in microbial host cells. In one aspect, provided herein are genetically modified microorganisms that produce non-catabolic compounds more stably when serially cultured under aerobic conditions followed by microaerobic conditions, and methods of producing non-catabolic compounds by culturing the genetically modified microbes under such culture conditions. In another aspect, provided herein are genetically modified microorganisms that produce non-catabolic compounds more stably when serially cultured in the presence of maltose followed by the reduction or absence of maltose, and methods of producing non-catabolic compounds by culturing the genetically modified microbes under such culture conditions.

Abstract: The present technology provides a system that enables a user to communicate with one of multiple devices in a network based on context information from another device in the network. The system includes a context manager configured to (1) receive context information from the multiple devices; (2) identify a subject-of-interest based on a user input; (3) determine a set of relevant context information based on the subject-of-interest and the received context information; and (4) transmitting the set of relevant context information to a target device to perform a task associated with the subject-of-interest. The context information managed by the present technology enables a user to conveniently interact with the multiple devices in the network without requiring the user to provide details of his/her instructions.

Abstract: A system for validating software security analysis findings includes a non-transitory computer readable medium and a processor. The non-transitory computer readable medium stores a source truth dataset including criteria for validating characteristics of findings. The processor receives a finding from a software security analysis tool that performs scan on application code. The processor identifies a characteristic from the finding. The processor selects a criterion from the non-transitory computer readable medium for validating the identified characteristic. The processor determines a validity score for the finding based on whether the selected criterion is met. The processor determines whether the finding is false positive by comparing the validity score to a predetermined validity threshold. If the finding is true positive, a graphical user interface displays the finding.
