Publication number: 20200136734Abstract: A media playout system receives a broadcast log transmitted from a media scheduling system. The broadcast log includes a restricted show, and the media playout system makes a first determination a blackout period assigned to the restricted show. The blackout period indicates a period of time associated with the restricted show during which at least one media item is prohibited from being scheduled. The media player also determines that the broadcast log indicates that the at least one media item has been improperly scheduled during the blackout period. In response to determining that the at least one media item has been improperly scheduled during the blackout period, the media playout system transmits, to the media scheduling system, a message requesting a replacement media item to replace the at least one media item that has been improperly scheduled during the blackout period.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 2, 2020Publication date: April 30, 2020Applicant: iHeartMedia Management Services, Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey Lee Littlejohn, Mark R. Publication number: 20200129129Abstract: Health signal monitoring using continuous wave microwave signals is often affected by phase wrapping and null point detection issues. The disclosure herein generally relates to health monitoring, and, more particularly, to a method and a monitoring system for health monitoring using Amplitude Modulated Continuous Wave (AMCW) microwave signals. In this design of the monitoring system, the AMCW microwave signal comprises of a carrier signal and a modulating signal. The modulating signal is used for measuring heart rate and breathing rate of a subject, while the carrier signal is used to tune antenna size in the monitoring system. As the probing wavelength and the antenna size are independent of each other in this design of the monitoring system, the probing wavelength can be adjusted such that effect of the phase wrapping can be minimized. The system addresses the null point measurement problem by quadrature modulating the modulating signal.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 25, 2019Publication date: April 30, 2020Applicant: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: Arijit SINHARAY, Rajat Kumar DAS, Sayan SETH

Publication number: 20200133248Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and method for inverse inference in a chain of manufacturing processes using Bayesian networks is provided. The method generates a composite Bayesian network model for a chain of manufacturing processes from Bayesian network models of the unit processes in the chain. The models of unit processes might have been learned independently in other contexts and stored in a knowledge repository. Models relevant for the current problem context are obtained from the knowledge repository and checked for compatibility using ontological information about their inputs and outputs. The obtained compatible Bayesian network models of unit processes are composed to generate a composite Bayesian network model for the chain. The generated composite Bayesian network model is sampled to perform inverse inference.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 6, 2019Publication date: April 30, 2020Applicant: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: Avadhut Mohanrao SARDESHMUKH, Sapankumar Hiteshchandra SHAH, Sreedhar Sannareddy REDDY, Gautham Purushottham BASAVARSU

Patent number: 10636176Abstract: Textual overlays/labels add contextual information in Augmented Reality (AR) applications. The spatial placement of labels is a challenging task particularly for real time videos. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for optimal placement of contextual information for Augmented Reality (AR) applications to overcome the limitations of occlusion with object/scene of interest through optimally placing labels aiding better interpretation of scene. This is achieved by combining saliency maps computed for each frame of an input video with Euclidean distance between current and previous overall positions for each frame based on an initial overlay position of the label to calculate an updated overlay position for label placement in the video. The placement of overlays is formulated as an objective function that minimizes visual saliency around the object of interest and minimizes the temporal jitter facilitating coherence in real-time AR applications.Type: GrantFiled: February 1, 2019Date of Patent: April 28, 2020Assignee: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: Srinidhi Hegde, Ramya Hebbalaguppe
