The electrical conveyance system may include an electrical power manifold, a drill string coupled to the electrical power manifold, a multi-conductor conduit extending through an interior of the drill string, and a stinger assembly extending from an exterior of the electrical power manifold to an interior of the electrical power manifold to couple the multi-conductor conduit to an electrical power source.

Abstract: Delivery devices for delivering encircling implants can include two separate limbs that are held together at a distal articulation by the implant being delivered. The implant can comprise a suture and/or a braided tube. The implant can extend through or over the limbs. The implant and at least a distal portion of the limbs can be compressible into a delivery shape that allows for advancement through the lumen of a delivery catheter. When the distal portion of the limbs move out of the delivery catheter, the limbs and implant can resiliently assume a loop shape that is complementary to a shape of a target around which the encircling implant is to be placed. The limbs are then retracted from along the implant to leave the implant in the desired delivery position. The delivery device can be used to place encircling implants around the heart or other targets, and the implant can be tightened to exert compressive force on the target.

Abstract: System and method for predicting enterprise system response time is disclosed. System pre-processes causal variables of historical output time series data to select subset of causal variables by applying regression techniques to obtain significant causal variables. Historical output time series data shows response time of enterprise system. System derives dummy variables from historical output time series data using threshold based method. Dummy variables are specific to peak detection and trough detection in historic output time series data. System trains predictive model using historical output time series data, significant causal variables, and dummy variables to generate trained predictive model and predictive model designed using machine learning technique selected based on forecast methodology used for forecasting input time series data.

A closing sleeve assembly including a housing; a port formed in the housing; a sealing surface formed in the housing adjacent to the port; a closing sleeve configured to move between an open position, in which a fluid flow through the port is permitted, and a closed position, in which the fluid flow through the port is prevented, the closing sleeve including a seal configured to engage with the sealing surface to form a fluid and pressure tight seal when the closing sleeve is in the closed position; and a protective sleeve configured to extend toward the port to substantially cover the sealing surface when the closing sleeve is moved to the open position and retract away from the port when the closing sleeve is moved to the closed position.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include a system and method in which a plurality of shock sensing subassemblies are arranged within the tool string to monitor the transient response of formation characteristics to various stimuli, including changes in pressure and temperature of a region of a wellbore that is nearby the formation. The systems and methods involve gathering measurements that reflect the transient response and comparing the measured data to predicted data. The results of the comparison can be used to determine formation properties and to refine and improve modeling processes used to generate the predicted data.

Abstract: The structural integrity and reliability of a downhole tool or mandrel may be improved by implementation of a design and configuration that does not require several separate components to be coupled together. An insulating sleeve is wrapped around the outside of a mandrel. Electrodes, both transmit and return, are wrapped around the insulating sleeve. The outside diameter of the mandrel is increased but the structural integrity and reliability of the mandrel is maintained as no gap sub is used to electrically isolate the electrodes from the mandrel. The insulating sleeve may be tapered at the edges to prevent excessive wear on the sleeve. The insulating sleeve may also extend the full distance between the electrodes to provide even more insulation.
Abstract: Methods and systems for rules-based data access are described. In some embodiments, a request for access to customer data by a requesting entity is received; the data is categorized; the person's preferences with respect to allowing access to data are compiled; a requesting entity is determined; and the providing entity that collected each requested data item is determined. Data shareability rules are evaluated based on the policies that regulate the access of the customer data and the requesting entity, and the customer data is provided to the requesting entity according to the evaluation.

Abstract: A device causes a communication session to be established between the device and a user device to allow the device and the user device to communicate speech, and receives user speech from the user device. The device processes the user speech using a natural language processing technique to determine a plurality of characteristics of the user speech, and updates a speech generation setting of a plurality of speech generation settings based on the plurality of characteristics of the user speech. The device generates, after updating the speech generation setting, device speech using a text-to-speech technique based on the speech generation setting, and sends the device speech to the user device.
