Abstract: This disclosure provides a discharge actuation apparatus that is configured to not only fully open and close a sliding gate of a bulk material container, but also move the gate pin to a neutral position with respect to a keeper slot of the bulk container and a receiver slot of the discharge actuation apparatus to ensure proper alignment of the receiver slot and the keeper slot with the gate pin of the bulk container to reduce the likelihood of damage to the receiver or the bulk container during the container's replacement on to the receiver.

Abstract: A downhole cleanout tool includes a tool housing have a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, and a filter between the inlet and the outlet. The tool includes a pump that is fluidly coupled to at least the fluid inlet to motivate fluid across the filter. The tool also includes a rotatable housing having a nozzle that is fluidly coupled to the pump outlet. The rotatable housing may rotate about a longitudinal axis of the rotatable housing, and the filter and pump may be disposed within the rotatable housing. Each nozzle may include a nozzle outlet oriented at an angle (a) from a radial axis extending from the longitudinal axis of the rotatable housing to a location where the nozzle outlet intersects the periphery of the rotatable housing such that motivation of fluid through the nozzle results in rotation of the rotatable housing.

Abstract: A method includes disposing a downhole tool having a magnet assembly into a wellbore. The method includes generating, using the magnet assembly, a magnetic polarization in a volume into a subterranean region about the wellbore. The method also includes emitting an excitation in the magnetic polarization in the volume in the subterranean region. The method includes detecting, by at least one antenna, a nuclear magnetic resonance response to the excitation of the volume in the subterranean region. The method also includes determining a property of the subterranean region based on the nuclear magnetic resonance response.

Abstract: A system for temporarily enabling an otherwise disabled payment account for use in a transaction is configured to perform operations including receiving, from a point of sale device, a transaction request associated with an account of a user, the transaction request comprising a transaction value representing a currency amount. The operations may also include determining that the user account has a disabled status. Further, the operations may include converting the transaction request into a personal identification code based at least in part on the transaction value. The operations may additionally include determining that the personal identification code matches a stored authorization code associated with the user account. And, the operations may include modifying the disabled status to permit successful processing of at least one subsequent transaction request associated with the user account.

The device processes the video data and determines actions of the plurality of customers in relation to the product in the plurality of physical retail locations, by: determining, for a customer of the plurality of customers, an activity of the customer in relation to the product, and determining, for the customer, an eye gaze direction of the customer relative to the product. The device determines categories for the actions of the plurality of customers in relation to the product. The device generates a report that indicates one or more of the categories for the actions of the plurality of customers in relation to the product and sends the report to a client device to permit the client device to display the report.

Abstract: A melt-blown fabric for pouching smokeless tobacco or a smokeless tobacco substitute can include melt-blown polymer fibers. The fabric can have a basis weight of less than 30 gsm and a tensile strength of at least 4 mJ in at least one predetermined direction. Method of making the fabric can include melt-blowing a polymeric material against a support surface and bonding the fibers or arranging them in a predetermined orientation. Pouched smokeless tobacco or tobacco substitute products including the fabrics provided herein can provide desirable flavor and tactile experience.

The compositions can be used in methods of silencing gene expression in a cell, delivering agents to a target cell, and in treating or preventing a disease or disorder in a subject.

Abstract: A shunt current regulator can be used to maintain current levels at downhole device on a tubing encapsulated cable and improve communication speed between the surface and downhole devices. The shunt current regulator reduces the current noise on the tubing encapsulated cable allowing for higher bitrate transfer. In some aspects, a sensing element monitors the current drawn and generates a sense signal. In other aspects, a compensation signal is generated from the sense signal. The compensation signal may be used as input to control a transistor to regulate the current drawn from the tubing encapsulated cable. The transistor can dissipate power to stabilize the current drawn or provide compensation current to increase the current drawn.

Abstract: Example embodiments of systems and methods for data transmission system between transmitting and receiving devices are provided. In an embodiment, each of the transmitting and receiving devices can contain a master key. The transmitting device can generate a diversified key using the master key, protect a counter value and encrypt data prior to transmitting to the receiving device, which can generate the diversified key based on the master key and can decrypt the data and validate the protected counter value using the diversified key.
