Abstract: A centralizer for downhole OCTG having a storage space capable of housing downhole electronics and other down-hole devices, compositions and elements is disclosed. The storage space is located within an inner cavity formed in one or more of the blades making up the centralizer. A capsule is provided for protecting the contents of the items being stored within the inner cavity. The capsule may be hermetically sealed to protect the contents from the damaging effects of downhole fluids. Ports may be provided within the capsule to allow downhole electronics to be connected to sensors and other devices and components residing outside of the capsule.

Abstract: A mud motor, system, and method for using same are disclosed. A mud motor can include a continuously formed power section stator housing having a first end, a second end, and an internal cavity comprising a series of stator lobes and a housing portion passing. The stator lobes can extend from the first end of the power section stator housing until a first end of a transition portion. The transition portion can form a unitary combination with the stator lobes. The mud motor further includes a rotor assembly including a power section rotor having rotor lobes to be disposed completely within the internal cavity. Additional apparatuses, systems, and methods are disclosed.

Abstract: The systems, methods, and computer program products (collectively “systems”) described herein are generally configured to monitor actions in digital channels. More specifically, the systems are capable of initiating purchases in a broadcast channel. The systems are capable of syncing transaction accounts with various digital channels. Moreover, the systems are capable of initiating or completing transaction based on user information. The systems may also be capable of providing rewards based on activities or accomplishments in the digital channels. Moreover, the systems may be capable of verifying activities based on transaction information.

Abstract: The system may capture an image comprising an original image size. The system may further determine an optimal size for the image based on a connection bandwidth and/or connection latency. The system may also compress the image to reduce an image size locally until the image size is less than or equal to the optimal size, before transmitting the image with the optimal size to the receiver while controlling latency in image transmission.

Abstract: A jack for lifting segments of a structure includes a pair of masts, a mast base, a mast cap, a hydraulic ram, a bottom bracket and a shuttle. The masts are identical and upright with a plurality of evenly spaced holes. The mast base supports the mast and the mast cap receives the upper ends of the masts and maintains the masts in a parallel, relationship. The hydraulic ram moves between a retracted position and an extended position with a stroke distance which is significantly less than the mast height. The bottom bracket is removably pinned to the masts and receives and supports the lower end of the hydraulic ram. The shuttle receives the upper end of the hydraulic ram. The bottom bracket and shuttle, when not pinned to the masts, can slide vertically up the masts. The shuttle includes features for connecting to a segment of a structure.

Abstract: A secure mobile financial transaction is provided by receiving a list of protection methods from an external terminal over a communication network. A matrix of protection methods corresponding to the external terminal is created based on the identified protection methods. Security-related information is received from one or more trust mediator agents over the communication network. Rules corresponding to the received security related information are retrieved, and at least one protection method is selected from the matrix of protection methods based on the retrieved rules. The selected protection method is transmitted to the trust mediator agents for implementation.

Abstract: A drill rig tong cart is disclosed. The tong cart can include a base portion configured to interface with a drill rig. In addition, the tong cart can include a tong carriage supported by the base portion and configured to interface with a tong for coupling and uncoupling tubulars. The tong carriage can be movable relative to the base portion to alternately position the tong in an engaged position and a disengaged position relative to the tubulars.

Abstract: A method is provided for improved degradation of metal-crosslinked polymer gels, which are useful in oil and gas treating operations. In this method a polysaccharide having a higher degree of substitution than the polymer in the polymer gel is added to the gel. The polysaccharide removes the crosslinking metal ion from the gel to thus break down the gel and reduce its viscosity.

Abstract: An enclosure holds an air mover, a switch, and a power source such as one or more electric storage batteries. A hollow outflow tube receives air drawn into the enclosure by the air mover. An end of the outflow tube has an outer diameter selected to pass through the action of a firearm and into the firing chamber. When the end of the outflow tube is inserted into the chamber and the air mover is turned on, ambient air is drawn into the enclosure, through the air mover, through the outflow tube, into the chamber, through the bore of the barrel, and out the muzzle, thereby cooling the firearm's barrel. When the end of the outflow tube is inserted into a chamber, an embodiment provides a visual indication that the chamber does not contain a cartridge.

Abstract: A computer device and method for processing risk or loss related data to determine insurance underwriting, pricing, or other decisions contingent upon informatic and credit score data. An insurance underwriting decision is identified which is to be rendered regarding an insured. Informatic data is received from one or more of an insured property and vehicle associated with the insured. Credit score data relating to the insured is also received. Analytics is performed on the received informatic data and credit score data to determine the insurance underwriting, pricing, or other decision.

Abstract: An image of a check that is in the field of view of a camera is monitored prior to the image of the check being captured. The camera is associated with a mobile device. When the image of the check in the field of view passes monitoring criteria, an image may be taken by the camera and provided from the mobile device to a financial institution. The image capture may be performed automatically as soon as the image of the check is determined to pass the monitoring criteria. The check may be deposited in a user's bank account based on the image. Any technique for sending the image to the financial institution may be used. Feedback may be provided to the user of the camera regarding the image of the check in the field of view.

Abstract: A method of forming a container from a blank of sheet material using a machine is provided. The blank includes a bottom panel, two side panels, two end panels, and a reinforcing panel assembly extending from a first side panel. The machine includes a hopper station, a corner post forming station, and a plunger station. The method includes rotating the reinforcing panel assembly upwardly toward the first side panel as the blank is transported from the hopper station to the corner post forming station, forming a corner wall and a reinforcing end tab by folding reinforcing panels about fold lines as the blank is transported through the corner post forming station, rotating the side panels and the end panels to be substantially perpendicular to the bottom panel by directing the blank through the plunger station, and coupling the reinforcing end tab to an end panel to form the container.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer-usable medium are disclosed for the automated management of financial resources. Manufacturer item data is received and processed to parse a manufacturer item identifier and any associated product item identifiers, which are then added to a repository of budget category, manufacturer item, and purchase item data if they are not already present. Purchase item transaction data is received and processed to parse individual purchase item identifiers (IDs) and their associated purchase item data. The purchase item data corresponding to the purchase item identifier, which in turn corresponds to a manufacturer item identifier, is then associated with a default or user-defined budget category identifier. If a user decides to modify existing purchase item ID and budget category ID associations, then a purchase item ID association is selected, followed by the selection of a target budget category ID.

Abstract: A method of treating a subterranean formation. The method may include providing a well treatment including a treatment complex formed of a treatment agent encapsulated, entrapped, or embedded in a polysaccharide, introducing the treatment complex into a wellbore through a subterranean formation, and allowing the treatment complex to release the treatment agent over a release time period. The method may include allowing the treatment complex to release the treatment agent after a delay time period from the introduction of the treatment complex into the wellbore.

Abstract: Ampholyte polymeric compound that comprises at least one nonionic monomer, at least one sulfonic acid-containing monomer, and at least one cationic monomer may be useful in viscosifying treatment fluids for use in subterranean operations at a concentration of about 0.5 v/v % to about 30 v/v % of the treatment fluid. Such operations may involve introducing the treatment fluid into a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation optionally at a pressure sufficient to create or extend at least one fracture in the subterranean formation.

The housing can include one or more apertures providing a flow path from within the housing to outside the housing. A first end can permit fluid flow into the housing, and a second end can at least partially restrict fluid flow therethrough.
