Abstract: Systems and methods consistent with the invention relate to matching user attributes. In one exemplary implementation, the system and methods may store predetermined general attribute descriptors reflecting attributes of users generally, receive personal attribute descriptors selected from the predetermined general attribute descriptors as corresponding to attributes of a first user and a second user, receive a rating associated with each received personal attribute descriptor, compare at least one personal attribute descriptor associated with the first user with at least one personal attribute descriptor associated with the second user to determine a descriptor match, and calculate a match score based on the determined descriptor match and the received ratings. In addition, first and second display points may be displayed and may be separated by a one-dimensional display distance that is a function of the calculated match score.

Abstract: In enterprises, presentations are designed and made to visiting clients on a routine basis and it is expected that such presentations be effective as much of business depends on right kind of information in right depth and volume made to right audience. The typically followed manual process depends on the capabilities of a person to create such presentations. It is required to obtain as little information as possible to generate presentations as much automatically as possible. The automatic generation of presentations is based on (a) agenda; (b) audience profile; and (c) templates. The system analyzes an agenda and audience profile to obtain adequate information to identify the most appropriate templates and uses the same to generate one or more draft presentation versions that best match the requirements of the agenda. Further, the invention also provides for an automatic generation of (a) slide annotations; (b) presentation theme; and (c) templates.

Abstract: A flow control assembly can be disposed in a wellbore and can include a membrane that can be perforated in response to a pressure, such as a setting pressure, from an inner area of a tubing. Subsequent to the membrane being perforated, fluid can be allowed to flow from an area external to the tubing to an area internal to the tubing. The membrane may remain closed during a packer setting operation and be perforated subsequent to the packer setting operation.

The application may collect the applicant's personal information (e.g., name, address, etc.), type of annuity applied for (e.g., immediate or deferred, retirement or non-retirement, etc.), sources of funding, beneficiaries, etc. The web application may also allow the application to be signed electronically. The web application may take application for annuities that are supported by various different types of back-end systems, and may provide the information collected from the applicant to the appropriate back-end system.

Abstract: The invention relates to inhibition of ornithine aminotransferase (OAT) for suppression of tumor cells proliferation. More particularly, the invention relates to methods of treatment of proliferative disorders by the selective inhibition of OAT, and further provides the use of OAT inhibitors, specifically, 5-amino-1,3-hexadienyl-carboxylic acid (Gabaculine), and Gabaculine analogue 8, for compositions and methods for the treatment of proliferative disorders such as hepatocellular carcinoma. The invention further provides methods and kits for the diagnosis of a pathologic proliferative disorder in a mammalian subject, based on determining the level of OAT expressed in a biological sample obtained from a subject.

Abstract: Extract, transform, and load application (ETL) complexity management framework systems and methods are described herein. The present disclosure describes systems and methods that reduce the complexity in managing ETL flow and correcting errant data that is subsequently identified. One or more methods include defining an ETL job definition, defining a data asset definition, defining a data asset dependency definition, receiving an ETL flow to provide execution of one or more ETL flow steps, providing retrieval of data from a source data asset, applying a data control to the source asset data, and producing an ETL job registration, a data asset status, a latest asset available date, a data asset consumer identifier, and a target data asset based on at least one of the ETL job definition, the data asset definition, the data dependency definition, and the source asset data.

Abstract: The present invention provides systems and methods for electronically-capturing a destination address of a package and for using the destination address to automate a package pre-load operation. An embodiment of the invention includes a compression system for compressing the destination address as a compressed MaxiCode symbol, a smart shipping label system for generating a shipping label with a compressed MaxiCode and a pre-load assist system for generating package handling instructions from the electronically-captured destination address.

Abstract: Methods for inducing an immune response to a tumor in a subject are disclosed herein. These methods include selecting a subject with a tumor and administering a therapeutically effective amount of apoptotic tumor cells conjugated to a CpG oligodexoynucleotide (ODN) to the subject. In some embodiments, the CpG ODN is a K-type or a D-type CpG ODN. Methods for treating a tumor in a subject are also disclosed herein. These methods include selecting a subject with a tumor and administering a therapeutically effective amount of apoptotic tumor cells conjugated to a CpG oligodexoynucleotide (ODN) to the subject. In some embodiments, the tumor cells are autologous. In additional embodiments, the tumor is a lymphoma, cervical cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer or a lung cancer.

Abstract: A Universal Serial Bus (USB) dongle may include an optical transceiver having a USB inter face for engagement to an electronic device such as a laptop computer or other USB-configured device. The USB dongle may include a converter or buffering, isolation, modulation or amplification circuitry. The USB dongle sends and receives data signals which may be carried upon an optical transmission as generated by an LED light source which in turn is in communication with a host device such as a network processor. The USB dongle may also include operational amplifiers (op-amps) and transistor amplifiers.

The system may scan the response piece, identify the response piece, and generate an image from the response piece. The system also processes the image. Processing the image may include determining response piece identification information and sending the response piece identification information to an accounting system to update an account associated with the response piece identification information. Processing the image may also include reading information from the response piece.

Abstract: The present invention relates to monoclonal antibodies that bind or neutralize anthrax protective antigen (PA) toxin. The invention provides such antibodies, fragments of such antibodies retaining anthrax PA toxin-binding ability, fully human or humanized antibodies retaining anthrax PA toxin-binding ability, and pharmaceutical compositions including such antibodies. The invention further provides for isolated nucleic acids encoding the antibodies of the invention and host cells transformed therewith. Additionally, the invention provides for prophylactic, therapeutic, and diagnostic methods employing the antibodies and nucleic acids of the invention.

Abstract: An improved hydrotest testing system comprises a safety stop which prevents the testing tools from being blown out of the top of the tubing string. The safety stop is made up into the upward facing box of the tubing joint to be tested, where the stop is positioned between the tool assembly placed within the tubing joint and the no-go head assembly which is located at the surface during the testing operation. Once the safety stop has been made up into upward facing box, the tool assembly is set within the joint to be tested and the joint pressure tested. The safety stop has a generally cylindrical body which has a bore extending through its length, where the bore has a reduced diameter throat which is sized smaller than portions of the downhole testing tool.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for mechanically reclosing a hydraulically actuated sliding side door of a sleeve assembly. One sleeve assembly includes a housing defining one or more flow ports, a sliding sleeve arranged within the housing and movable between a closed position and an open position and back to the closed position, wherein, when in the closed position, the outer sleeve occludes the one or more flow ports, and, when in the open position, the one or more flow ports are exposed. A piston is movably arranged within a piston bore defined in the housing, and a locking mechanism is arranged within the piston bore and configured to engage the piston with the sliding sleeve, thereby allowing the piston to move the sliding sleeve to the open position.

Abstract: The present invention provides methods of transcytosing barrier epithelial cells using adeno-associated virus-4 (AAV4), adeno-associated virus-5 (AAV5), adeno-associated virus-7 (AAV7), bovine adeno-associated virus (BAAV), and vectors and particles derived therefrom. In addition, the present invention provides methods of delivering a nucleic acid across the barrier epithelia using the AAV4, AAV5, AAV7, and BAAV vectors and particles.

An embodiment discloses a method comprising: drilling a wellbore in a subterranean formation using a bottom hole assembly; and pumping a treatment fluid into the wellbore through the bottom hole assembly, wherein the treatment fluid comprises a kiln dust and water.

Abstract: Compositions, methods and devices for the detection of anti-lipoidal antibodies and the diagnosis of disease, for example, syphilis, are described. In particular, oxidized cardiolipins, which may be conjugated with a variety of attachment molecules, such as BSA, KLH, biotin, synthetic protein MAPS, IgY, streptavidin, or avidin, are described. Such oxidized cardiolipin, alone or complexed with one or more attachment molecules, are useful to detect anti-lipoidal antibodies (such as IgG and IgM antibodies) in subjects, for example, when used in ELISA plates. ELISA plates are described that permit the detection of anti-lipoidal antibodies and that permit the co-detection of nontreponemal and treponemal antibodies in biological samples.
