Abstract: The present invention provides for novel methods for regulating and detecting the cytosine methylation status of DNA. The invention is based upon identification of a novel and surprising catalytic activity for the family of TET proteins, namely TET1, TET2, TET3, and CXXC4. The novel activity is related to the enzymes being capable of converting the cytosine nucleotide 5-methylcytosine into 5-hydroxymethylcytosine by hydroxylation.

Abstract: A computer implemented method for masking a primary account number between a party and a service provider. A plurality of transaction records from a database is retrieved. A masking value is generated in response to having a first hash function executed on a primary account number. The receiving, at the service provider, the masking value from the client execution environment without the primary account number; wherein the server execution environment lacks identification of the affiliation between the primary account number and the party. Upon confirming that the first hash function is identical to the second hash function, matching the masking value to the second masking value. In response to a match, querying the database for transaction history associated with the masking value. An analysis report is generated.
Abstract: A system and method for allowing a single live customer service agent to simultaneously serve multiple customers. According to various embodiments, a virtual agent operates at the front end to receive and attempt to handle customer issues. The virtual agent employs speech recognition and intent mapping in order to generate a proposed response that attempts to identify and resolve customer issues. In some scenarios, the proposed response includes both a response message and a response action to be taken. A chat history and the proposed response is then provided to the live agent. The live agent reviews the information provided, and determines whether the proposed response is appropriate. The live agent then approves the response or revises or replaces the response. The final response is sent back to the virtual agent for processing and providing to the customer.

Abstract: A method for measuring the thickness of casing in a wellbore and/or analyzing the inner surface of the cased or non-cased wellbore. The method includes an positioning an untethered logging tool in a drill string, receiving the logging tool in a catcher positioned within the drill string, positioning a plurality of ultrasonic transducers with the average distance between the outer surface of the plurality of transducers and an interior surface of the catcher sub being less than 0.8 mm, and moving the drill string and the logging tool toward a mouth of the borehole while transmitting acoustic waves through the catcher sub toward the wellbore casing and receiving acoustic waves back to the logging tool after the acoustic waves interact with the wellbore casing and reflect through the catcher.

Abstract: Methods and systems disclosed herein describe tokenizing data to generate a secure token that is limited in scope (e.g., directed to a specific recipient) and limited in time (e.g., valid for only a specified period of time). A detokenization process may be employed to recover encrypted data of the secure token without the need for any relational database lookup processes, thereby reducing cost while maintaining robust protection against unintended recipients that attempt to recover the encrypted data.

Abstract: A device may receive image data representing a document, the document including: text, and edges. Based on the edges, the device may identify, a segment of interest within the image data and crop the segment of interest to obtain a portion of the image data. In addition, the device may perform optical character recognition on the portion of the image data, the optical character recognition producing recognized text. The device may obtain, based on the recognized text, validation data that includes verification text, and determine whether the recognized text is verified based on the verification text. Based on a result of the determination, the device may perform an action.

Abstract: In order to facilitate electronic meeting scheduling and coordination, systems and methods are disclosed including receiving, by a processor, a plurality of electronic meeting requests to schedule a meeting. The processor determines, for each electronic meeting request, meeting room needs. A meeting scheduling machine learning model is utilized to predict parameters of meeting room objects representing the candidate meeting rooms based at least in part on the meeting room needs, schedule information associated with a respective electronic meeting request and location information associated with the respective electronic meeting request. The processor causes an indication of the candidate meeting rooms to display in response to the electronic meeting request on a screen of computing devices associated with the respective attendees based at least in part on the predicted parameters.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing a CI/CD pipeline that decouples delivery of product configuration changes from code and similar changes, otherwise bundled/handled together with such configuration changes, for delivery to a running application in production. An exemplary method may include configuring components of CI/CD application in production to subscribe to application updates during runtime; processing an update to the application; processing/handling the update to process only configuration changes for propagation to subscribed components; validating the configuration changes; and instructing a workflow engine to: determine whether the configuration changes are needed for each component, update the components in runtime memory, if so, and provide the validated changes as an update in a next processing cycle to deploy such changes during the runtime.

Abstract: A technique for embedding and utilizing credentials in a network address may include requesting a network address for a client device by providing an account identifier to a server computer associated with a service provider. A network address that is mapped to the account identifier can be assigned to the client device. The network address may include a routing prefix field and a network interface identifier field. The routing prefix field may include an issuer identifier of an issuer of the account, and the network interface identifier field may include an interface identifier that maps to the account identifier. By embedding credentials such as an account identifier in the network address, the actual account identifier need not be transmitted to perform actions on the account.
