Abstract: An application data exchange technique may include a communication device establishing a communication channel with an access device, receiving an access device profile of the access device, and emulating a virtual access device on the communication device based on the access device profile. The virtual access device executing on the communication device may issue a set of application commands to a transaction applet executing on the communication device, and receive a set of application data responses from the transaction applet in response to the set of application commands. The communication device, may then generate a data packet by concatenating application data contained in the set of application data responses, and transmitting the data packet to the access device via the communication channel.

Abstract: In some embodiments, after authentication of a user at a trusted device, a system may store a record with user or other support information and a code in a database. When support is requested by the user device, the code provided in response to the request (e.g., as an extension to a phone number or in a header field), and a system may use the code to retrieve the record from the database. Presence of the record in the database may indicate to the communication system that the user requesting support is already authenticated.

Abstract: A system for determining pressure in a hydraulic fracturing system for a well includes a processing module executing code and configured to receive a plurality of input parameters. The processing module can predict either a bottomhole pressure, based on statistical predictions and physics-based predictions, or a surface pressure based on the predicted bottomhole pressure.

Abstract: A shaped cutter is disclosed for use on a drill bit. In one or more example, the shaped cutter includes a substrate including a proximal end and a distal end and defining a cutter axis extending between the proximal and distal ends. A cutting table secured to the proximal end of the substrate includes a cutting face with a central boss axially extending from the cutting face and a plurality of ribs radially extending across the cutting face from the boss to a periphery of the cutting table. The cutting face may recede axially from the periphery towards the central boss, such as by defining a planar section, a plurality of intersecting planar sections, and/or a concave (e.g., frustoconical) shape between adjacent ribs.

Abstract: Methods and systems are also described for an integrated cyber incident management system that may store native data corresponding to fields of cyber incident management system (or other non-integrated systems) and integration data (e.g., viewable through a user interface of the integrated cyber incident management system), which describes a relationship of the native data to the integrated cyber incident management system, at a structure node in the architecture of the integrated cyber incident management system. The structure node may correspond to the convergence of two structures in the architecture of the integrated cyber incident management system. Each structure may itself correspond to a native hierarchal relationship in a non-integrated cyber incident management system.

Abstract: In some implementations, a system may receive a request to initiate a collaborative session between a user device and a dealership device of a dealership. The system may transmit, to the user device and based on receiving the request, a user set of user interface (UI) data indicating a first UI to be presented on a display of the user device. The system may transmit, to the dealership device and based on receiving, a dealership set of UI data indicating a second UI to be presented on a display of the dealership device. The first UI may include a collaborative workspace shared by the user device and the dealership device, and the collaborative workspace may include a connection by the user device with a website associated with the dealership. The second UI may include the collaborative workspace and a dealership workspace dedicated to the dealership device.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for determining alternative plans for a user may include: determining an event status of an event based on one or more parameters, wherein the event status comprises a target event indicator, wherein the one or more parameters comprise event population; obtaining event data of a target event; obtaining transactional data of the user, wherein the transactional data includes transaction time and transaction location; determining, via one or more processors, a likelihood of a potential transaction of the user associated with the target event by processing the transactional data and the event data using a trained machine learning model; and transmitting, to the user, a notification based on the determined likelihood of the potential transaction, wherein the notification includes a suggestion for alternative travel plans of the user.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed to using an NFC capable portable device to conduct a transaction at a resource provider location. The portable device (e.g., a wearable device, a physical token) may be temporarily associated with a user account at the resource provider location. The resource provider location includes one or more terminals that are configured to generate a list of items (e.g., items picked by the user) to be associated with the portable device. At checkout, the user surrenders the portable device, items on the list get automatically charged to the user account, and the user leaves the resource provider location. All communication between terminals, portable device and the resource provider computer occurs over a closed, local area network. Among the terminals, portable device and the resource provider computer, the resource provider computer is the only device configured to communicate with external entities over an external network.

Abstract: A method to demetal and de-ash oil feedstock. The method includes adding direct steam and sulfuric acid to oil feedstock to form acid treated oil, the sulfuric acid to strip the oil feedstock of metals, adding de-emulsifier to the acid treated oil feedstock to aid in phase separation, and settling the acid treated oil feedstock to separate into clarified oil, water, and a rag layer. The method includes centrifuging the clarified oil with a centrifuge running in a 3 phase configuration to remove water and solids from the clarified oil, and ensuring proper temperature and adding triethanol amine (TEA) to the centrifuged clarified oil to flocculate asphaltenes in the centrifuged clarified oil, creating TEA treated oil. The method includes centrifuging the TEA treated oil with a centrifuge running in a 2 phase configuration to remove the asphaltenes from the TEA treated oil and create marine fuel.

Abstract: Provided is a milling tool, a whipstock assembly, a well system, and a method. The milling tool, in at least one aspect, includes a plurality of blades extending radially outward from a mill body, each of the plurality of blades having a primary surface and first and second side surfaces coupled to opposing sides of the primary surface, adjacent blades of the plurality of blades separated by a spacing. The milling tool may further includes a lug slot extending partially into one of the plurality of blades from the first side surface exposed by the spacing, the lug slot configured to engage with a lug of a related tool to couple the milling tool with the related tool when rotating in a first direction and to disengage from the lug of the related tool to release the milling tool from the related tool when rotating in a second opposite direction.

Abstract: Chip cards that are protected from unauthorized access to information and instructions stored in the chip card's chip by unauthorized persons using illicit devices that emulate chip readers to interrogate the chips in chip cards and obtain or download confidential data stored in the chips. The chip cards are disabled when not ready to be used, such that the chips cannot be accessed by illicit devices, thus protecting the chip card owner and/or issuer from potential losses.

Abstract: The proposed system and method is directed at a system for generating a GPU-based mobile device signature to enhance the strength of a OTP card authentication signal. The proposed implementation leverages the NFC read capability of contactless OTP cards and WebGL image rendering functionality of mobile browser. An image, or a URL pointing to one, is received, via NFC transmission from a contactless card, for processing by a mobile browser. The output of the mobile browser image processing buffer (WebGL can then be hashed and used as a device identifier for the specific mobile device performing electronic authentication of a transmission source (Read by verifying, with high degree of certainty, the identity of the reading mobile device.

Abstract: A linear escapement mechanism is provided for actuating a downhole tool in a controlled and predictable manner, such as in response to a certain number of pressure cycles. In an example, the actuator includes an escapement sleeve moveable with respect to an actuator housing. The escapement sleeve has a plurality of escapement teeth. A rocker secured within the actuator housing has opposing first and second pallets. An operating sleeve is reciprocable to rock the rocker back and forth to alternately move the opposing first and second pallets into engagement with the escapement sleeve as the escapement sleeve advances in an actuating direction.

Abstract: Methods and systems disclosed herein enable accessing and updating content using deep linking. The system may generate a deep link for a user that links the user to an operator that requested generation of the deep link. The deep link may be encoded into a wirelessly detectable tag or a visually scannable code, which may be stored with user action data and an operator identifier. When a visually scannable code is scanned or a wirelessly detectable tag is accessed, the deep link is decoded and all data associated with the deep link is retrieve and generated for display, when needed. By generating deep links in combination with the visually scannable codes or wirelessly detectable tags, the system is able to provide quick and efficient data retrieval and update.

Abstract: Systems and methods that can automatically and intelligently edit audio signals to correct issues with voices and background noise. Such features may be especially useful as more people decide to work remotely. With remote work, some employees may be multi-tasking, for example by dropping off and picking up their kids while in meetings. Background noise reduction is essential for these remote workers. Using the exemplary systems and methods, remote workers could participate in live calls and/or create recordings while going about their daily chores. In particular, these remote workers would not need to wait until they are back home or in a quieter environment for participating in calls and/or making recordings.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a method includes receiving input data for a transaction that is to be executed robotically, at least in part, via a plurality of bot runs. The method also includes generating a plurality of bot schedules for the plurality of bot runs based, at least in part, on the input data. The method also includes automatically determining priorities for the plurality of bot schedules based, at least in part, on the input data and business configurations. The method also includes assigning shared resources to the plurality of bot runs according to the plurality of bot schedules, where the assigning is at least partly based on resource availability and values of the automatically determined priorities relative to priority values for other bot schedules for other transactions.

Abstract: A computer may generate a temporary digital wallet containing one or more anonymous payment tokens and transmit the temporary digital wallet to a user device of a user. When the user provides an anonymous payment token of the one or more anonymous payment tokens to a point of sale (POS) system, the computer may receive from the POS system or other systems connected thereto, a request to authorize payment for the anonymous payment token. The request to authorize payment may also include an amount to be paid by the user to the POS system. Using the anonymous payment token, the computer may retrieve a user account and determine that the user account has sufficient funds for the transaction. Based upon the determination that the user account has sufficient funds, the computer may transmit an authorization confirmation back to the POS system or any other system that the authorization request originated from.

Abstract: In some implementations, a device may receive, from a terminal, an indication of a first card credential associated with a card that was provided to the terminal to initiate a first interaction, where the card is associated with the multiple card credentials, including the first card credential. The device may determine that the first card credential is valid based on at least one of: the first card credential having not been previously used for another interaction associated with the card, or a first amount of time, from a first time indicated by a first timestamp associated with the first card credential to a reception time of the first card credential, satisfying a validity threshold. The device may transmit, to the terminal, an indication that the card is approved for the first interaction based on the first card credential being determined to be valid.

Abstract: Systems as described herein may classify entities based on cleansed transactions. An entity classification server may obtain transaction data indicating an entity name and an entity code in a non-standardized format. A recommended entity code in a standardized format may be determined from a remote data store. The entity classification server may generate a score indicating a likelihood that the recommended entity code correctly identifies the entity indicated in the transaction data using a machine classifier. The entity classification server may update the entity code in the transaction data with the recommended entity code based on the score exceeding a threshold value. Accordingly, a transaction summary comprising the transaction data may be generated and provided to a computing device.
