Publication number: 20230420757Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of electrolyte design. Existing methods focus on optimizing the electrolyte composition on a stand-alone basis with respect to its properties and validating battery performance experimentally which is a time-consuming process. Thus, embodiments of present disclosure provide an automated method and system for identifying electrolyte composition for optimal battery performance. The system receives certain input parameters and computes transport properties using the input. Then, a feasible electrolyte composition is identified from a material database based on deviation index metric. The identified electrolyte composition is then optimized based on the input by considering the deviation index and battery performance metrics such as capacity fade and internal heat generation.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 27, 2023Publication date: December 28, 2023Applicant: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: Vamsi Krishna GARAPATI, Kaustubh Rajendra BADWEKAR, Naga Neehar DINGARI, Mahesh MYNAM, Beena RAI

Publication number: 20230421504Abstract: Heterogeneous cloud storage services offered by different cloud service providers have unique deliverable performance. One key challenge is to find the maximum achievable data transfer rate from one cloud service to another. The disclosure herein generally relates to cloud computing, and, more particularly, to a method and system for parameter tuning in cloud network. The system obtains optimum value of parameters of a source cloud and a destination cloud in a cloud pair, by performing a parameter tuning. The optimum value of parameters and corresponding data transfer rate is used as a training data to generate a data model. The data model processes real-time information with respect to cloud pairs, and predicts corresponding data transfer rate.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 23, 2023Publication date: December 28, 2023Applicant: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: DHEERAJ CHAHAL, SURYA CHAITANYA VENKATA PALEPU, MAYANK MISHRA, REKHA SINGHAL, MANJU RAMESH

Publication number: 20230417705Abstract: Aspects of the subject technology relate to systems, methods, and computer-readable media for accounting for artifacts in pipe measurements made by an electromagnetic pipe inspection tool. Measurements gathered in a plurality of pipes across different depth points are accessed. Initial estimates of an attribute associated with the plurality of pipes are made for each pipe and a total estimate of the attribute for the plurality of pipes as a whole are made across the different depth points. Corresponding initial estimates of the attribute for each pipe are filtered to remove an artifact present in at least one of the corresponding initial estimates while the total estimate is preserved. Corresponding final estimates of the attribute for each pipe are determined based on both the measurements and corresponding filtered initial estimates of the attribute for each pipe. Integrity of each pipe can be determined based on the corresponding final estimates of the attribute.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 27, 2022Publication date: December 28, 2023Applicant: Halliburton Energy Services, Inc.Inventors: Ahmed E. Publication number: 20230419211Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to optimal intraday scheduling of aggregated Distributed Energy Resources (DERs). Owing to their stochastic nature, DERs aggregators are more suited to participate in intraday electricity markets. The current works on DER aggregators trading in intraday markets do not satisfactorily model the different aspects. The disclosure is an optimal trading strategy for aggregators managing heterogeneous DERs to participate in intraday markets. The intraday market is modelled using a joint price-volume dynamics distribution and an optimal bidding strategy is disclosed for the trades/bids placed earlier to be corrected based on the revised forecasts of demand and generation while allowing for energy exchanges within the DER pool. Further the optimal bidding strategy of aggregators in an intraday market is a MINLP problem, which is solved by converting the complex non-linearities in the problem into a coupled MILP—simple maximization set-up, which is then solved in an iterative fashion.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 24, 2023Publication date: December 28, 2023Applicant: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: VISHNU PADMAKUMAR MENON, YOGESH KUMAR BICHPURIYA, VENKATESH SARANGAN, SMITA LOKHANDE, ASHUTOSH PRAJAPATI, NARAYANAN RAJAGOPAL, NIDHISHA MAHILONG
