  • Patent number: 11741754
Abstract: Conventionally, activity detection has been through one mode i.e., smart watch. Though it works in reasonable cases, there are chances of false positives considerably. Other approaches include surveillance which limits itself to object detection. Embodiments of present disclosure provide systems and methods for detecting activities performed by user from data captured from multiple sensors. A first input (FI) comprising accelerometer data, heart rate and gyroscope data and second input (SI) comprising video data are obtained. Features are extracted from FI and pre-processed for a first activity (FA) detection using activity prediction model. Frames from SI are processed for creating bounding box of user and resized thereof to extract pose coordinates vector. Distance between vector of pose coordinates and training vectors of pose coordinates stored in the system is computed and a second activity (SA) is detected accordingly. Both the FA and SA are validated for determining true and/or false positive.

  • Patent number: 11742964
Abstract: Various embodiments employ multiple readers and tags in fixed locations in different geographical areas and/or along different storage units. This allows for more granular or precise location sensing. Particular embodiments employ multiple environment tags in various geographical locations and within multiple storage units. Using this new infrastructure setup, some embodiments can perform new functionality by predicting whether a target asset is in a particular geographical location, predict whether the asset is within a particular storage unit based on the proportion of readers mapped to that shelf which are actually reading the tag on the asset, and/or can predict where an asset's exact location in the located storage unit is based on comparing indications of signal strength values between each reader and tag in the storage unit with other indications of signal strength values between each reader and the tag that is attached to the asset.

  • Patent number: 11741322
Abstract: A method for recovering missed RFID tagged items in an RFID tunnel environment is disclosed. The method comprises using a dynamic RFID tunnel system comprised of a first RFID tunnel and a second RFID tunnel to inventory one or more containers of items having RFID tags. A first RFID read of the one or more containers is performed in the first RFID tunnel and compared to an expected containers' inventory stored in a database. If the comparison does not match, a second RFID read of the containers is performed in a second, subsequent RFID tunnel at a higher RFID read power and by moving the containers at a speed slower than a speed of movement of the containers into the first RFID tunnel. If a comparison of the second read to the expected containers' inventory still does not match, the containers may be recirculated through the tunnel system or may be diverted to an exceptions audit depending on how the system is configured.

  • Patent number: 11743042
Abstract: A system and techniques are described herein for providing authentication. The technique includes registering user authentication data such as biometrics data with a communication device. The authentication data is linked to an account or service provider, and is used to verify the identity of the user when accessing the account. The communication device may obtain a public/private key pair, for which the pubic key may be stored on a secure remote server. When the user attempts to access the account or service provider, the user may provide the authentication data to authenticate the user to the communication device. Thereafter, the communication device may sign an authentication indicator using the private key and send the authentication indicator to the secure remote server. Upon verification of the signature using the public key, the secure remote server may grant access to the user, for example, by releasing a token.
