Abstract: An applet may be downloaded or provided to a web browser when a user visits a site in order to protect data input by the user from being captured by malicious software, such as key loggers. The applet may present a user input field in the web browser and may generate a random sequence of low-level key stroke or mouse click events within the input field when the user enters information, such as a username and/or password. A listening key logger will receive a large amount of random data, whereas the applet will receive and buffer the actual user data that may be communicated to a remote site access by the user.

Abstract: A device receives vehicle data associated with vehicles located at a vehicle dealership lot, and receives, from a user device, profile data identifying a user of the user device and data identifying a particular vehicle of the vehicles. The device compares the data identifying the particular vehicle and the vehicle data to determine particular vehicle data associated with the particular vehicle, and processes the particular vehicle data and the profile data of the user, with a first model, to determine purchase options for the particular vehicle and the user. The device provides, to the user device, the particular vehicle data and the purchase options for the particular vehicle to cause the user device to display the particular vehicle data and the purchase options for the particular vehicle.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques and apparatuses that are configured to receive an indication that a web browsing session executing on an enterprise server needs additional information based on a request for additional information being sent to a client device. The request may include an identifier of the web browsing session and an identifier of an enterprise server that initiated the web browsing session. A globally unique identifier related to the web browsing session and an identifier of the enterprise server is stored in a common data store. The web browsing session may be paused when the web browsing session requests additional information from a client device. The client device may respond with the additional information. The system may provide the identifier of the enterprise server to a load balancing component so the identified web browsing session executing on the enterprise server may continue to be used.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described herein for the direct sharing and use of transaction data separately from transaction authorization processes. Transaction metadata associated with a transaction may be received and validated. Authorization information corresponding to the transaction may be received. The degree to which the transaction metadata is tested may be based on a predicted time of receipt of the authorization information. The transaction metadata and authorization information may be correlated. A computing device may determine whether to authorize the financial transaction based on the authorization information and the correlated transaction metadata. All or portions of the transaction metadata may be provided to one or more users after the transaction has been authorized or denied.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing purchase recommendations. According to some examples, a method may include: determining a set of vehicle characteristics represented in a candidate set of vehicles; for each vehicle characteristic in the set of vehicle characteristics, determining a percentage of the candidate set possessing the respective vehicle characteristic; selecting, from the set of vehicle characteristics, a vehicle characteristic based on a proximity of the respectively determined percentage to 50%; transmitting, to a user device associated with a user, an inquiry for a user preference regarding the selected vehicle characteristic; receiving, from the user device, a response indicating the user preference regarding the selected vehicle characteristic; excluding vehicles from the candidate set based on the indicated user preference to obtain a reduced candidate set; and transmitting, to the user device, a recommendation of one or more vehicles from the reduced candidate set.

Abstract: A tray formed from a blank of sheet material includes a bottom panel, a top panel, first and second side panels, and a locking band connected to the bottom panel at opposite upper and lower edges thereof. The locking band extends across the top panel and holds an underlying portion of the top panel in face-contacting relationship with the bottom panel. The tray is configured to transition from a first, substantially flat configuration into a second, erect configuration in which the top panel defines a concave surface configured to hold in place a rounded item. The tray is configured to be transitioned from the first configuration to the second configuration by sliding the top panel relative to the bottom panel.

Abstract: Provided is a computer-implemented method for generating a machine learning model to classify an account based on merchant activation, including providing an input to a generator network of a generative adversarial network (GAN) to generate an output; providing the output as input to a discriminator network; providing a training dataset as input to the discriminator network; and updating the generator network based on a first output of the discriminator network having a label that indicates whether a set of values of each of the plurality of features is a real set of values or a fake set of values. The method may include updating the discriminator network based on a second output of the discriminator network having a label that indicates whether a selected account of the plurality of accounts is going to conduct a first payment transaction. A system and computer program product are also provided.

Abstract: Surfactant compositions and methods for hydrocarbon recovery from a subterranean formation are provided. In some embodiments, the methods include: introducing a surfactant composition comprising an aqueous phase, an oil phase, an organic solvent, and one or more surfactants into a wellbore penetrating at least a portion of a subterranean formation; introducing an organic compound comprising a phosphonoalkyl moiety into the wellbore; and at least partially displacing a hydrocarbon from the subterranean formation by contacting a surface in the subterranean formation with the surfactant composition or the organic compound. In some embodiments, the compositions include: an aqueous phase; an oil phase comprising at least one solvent; an organic solvent; one or more surfactants; and at least one organic compound comprising a phosphonoalkyl moiety.

Abstract: Provided is an electrically surface-controlled subsurface safety valve (ESCSSV). The ESCSSV, in one example, includes an outer housing comprising a central bore extending axially through the housing that is configured to convey production fluids there through. The ESCSSV, in this embodiment, further includes a valve closure mechanism disposed proximate a downhole end of the central bore, and a bore flow management actuator disposed in the central bore and configured to move between a closed state and a flow state to engage or disengage the valve closure mechanism to determine a flow condition of the production fluids through the central bore. The ESCSSV, in this embodiment, additionally includes an electric valve assembly fluidically coupled to the bore flow management actuator and configured to select between a section pressure or the annulus pressure to control the bore flow management actuator and determine the flow condition of production fluids through the central bore.

Abstract: Dispensers are capable of being used in one orientation for dispensing paper towels upwardly when situated on a countertop and also in a second orientation for dispensing paper towels downwardly when mounted on a wall or other surface. Moreover, the dispensers can be easily modified to present a different finish by installing the desired outer shell components on the dispenser. The dispenser utilizes an inner cartridge adapted to house a stack of interleaved paper towels. The paper towels are urged by a spring toward a dispensing slot situated on a housing surrounding the cartridge. The spring urges the leading paper towel in the stack toward the dispensing slot in either orientation for convenient access to the towel by a user.

Abstract: A siphon pump chimney can be used in a mini-drillstem test to increase formation fluid flow rates. A formation tester can be coupled to a siphon pump chimney via a wet connect assembly to transfer formation fluid from a fluid-bearing formation. The siphon pump chimney can receive the formation fluid through the wet connect and disperse the formation fluid into a drill pipe that is flowing drilling fluid. The siphon pump chimney can include check valves to prevent the drilling fluid from entering the siphon pump chimney. The siphon pump chimney can be configured to have a variable height that can reduce pressure within the siphon pump chimney to a pressure value that can be close to or less than the formation pressure, which can allow a pump to operate at high flow rates or be bypassed in a free flow configuration.

Abstract: A method of forming a container from a blank of sheet material using a machine is provided. The method includes forming a corner wall by folding a first pair of a plurality of reinforcing panels inwardly towards a respective side panel and into face-to-face contact with a second pair of the plurality of reinforcing panels, rotating the side panels and end panels to be substantially perpendicular to a bottom panel such that an interior surface of at least one reinforcing panel of the plurality of reinforcing panels is in contact with an interior surface of the first side panel, and coupling at least one other reinforcing panel of the plurality of reinforcing panels to one of the end panels to form the container.

Abstract: A system for changing width of a person support apparatus is disclosed. A person support apparatus comprises at least one deck extension which is configured to be retracted or extended by at least one motor controlled by a bed controller. A mattress controller communicates with a bed controller and controls a fluid supply device to inflate or deflate a mattress supported by the person support apparatus to alter the width of the mattress. The mattress may also be inflated or deflated in response to manual extension or retraction of the deck extension.

An application may receive an indication specifying to perform an operation. The application may receive encrypted data from the card. The application may receive an indication that the authentication server decrypted the encrypted data. The application may determine a type of data required to authorize the operation. The application may receive data comprising passport data or driver license data from the card. The application may determine that the data satisfies a rule for authorizing the operation and authorize performance of the operation based on the authentication server verifying the encrypted data and the data satisfying the at least one rule.

The pn-junction includes a central part and an edge part around surrounding the central part, the edge part being in contact with a surface of the silicon substrate. The structure further includes a plasma shielding structure covering at least a depletion width of the pn-junction over at least a part of the edge part where the edge part contacts the surface of the silicon substrate.

Abstract: A tubular string includes a first tubular member with a pin end with pin threads and a pin external load shoulder. The tubular string also includes a second tubular member with a box end with a box external load shoulder and box threads, the pin threads being threadable into the box threads to form a connection, wherein the pin external load shoulder has an outer diameter (OD) that is different than an OD of the box external load shoulder. A load distribution sleeve is locatable between the first and second tubular members when threaded together and includes a first end facing the first tubular member and a second end facing the second tubular member, wherein the ODs of the load distribution sleeve first and second ends match the ODs of the pin and box external load shoulders respectively. The load distribution sleeve contacts the pin and box external load shoulders and distributes a make-up load between the pin and box external load shoulders when the connection is made up.

Abstract: A downhole tool for preventing pump blockage includes an outer conduit defining an outer flow path, an inner conduit located within the outer conduit defining an inner flow path and a space between the inner conduit and the outer conduit. The inner conduit includes one or more angled passageways to allow one-way debris flow. A pressure regulated valve is coupled to the upper end of the outer conduit and configured to open to expand an adjustable width angled passageway defined by the pressure regulated valve. An upper end of the inner conduit is configured to allow fluid bypass of the angled passageways of the inner conduit when the angled passageways are blocked with debris.

Abstract: In embodiments of the invention, the invention provides a method for distinguishing between lymphoma types based on gene expression measurements. In embodiments, the invention distinguishes between PMBCL and DLBCL based on gene expression signatures, and can further distinguish between DLBCL subtypes. In embodiments of the invention, the distinctions are used in methods of treatment.

The hybrid contact implant and the metal contact together form a hybrid contact defining first, second, and third electrical junctions. The first junction is a Schottky junction formed vertically between the source metal contact and the body. The second junction is an ohmic junction formed laterally between the source metal contact and the hybrid contact implant. The third junction is a rectifying PN junction between the hybrid contact implant and the channel region.
