Abstract: State of the art milk quality estimation techniques fail to determine quality of the milk non-invasively. This disclosure relates generally to a system and method for non-invasive estimation of milk quality within targeted packaging. A voltage signal is applied at a first capacitor plate amongst a plurality of capacitor plates placed on either side of a targeted packaging containing milk, wherein the targeted packaging is placed inside an electrode receptacle. The resulting voltage signal is measured at a second capacitor plate of the plurality of capacitor plates. A capacitance value is calculated from the measured voltage signal and a value of pH corresponding to the calculated capacitance value is then determined using a regression-based model. A correlation of the determined value of pH with one or more pre-defined quality indices is performed and the quality of milk within the targeted packaging estimated based on the correlation.

  • Publication number: 20230136227
Abstract: A method conducted using a mobile device is disclosed. The mobile device comprises a contactless application including a bridging module, a computer readable medium comprising a contactless kernel, wherein the contactless kernel includes a transceiver interface coupled to a processor. The mobile device includes a contactless element coupled to the processor. The method includes receiving a trigger signal indicative of a transaction to be executed. In response to receiving the trigger signal, the contactless kernel transmits first data to the bridging module. The contactless kernel is operable in a first mode of communication. The bridging module transforms the first data in the first mode of communication to first data in a second mode of communication and passes the first data to the contactless element. The contactless element transmits the first data to a user device, and thereafter receives second data from the user device to execute the transaction.

Abstract: A treatment fluid for treating iron sulfide and hydrogen sulfide can include a first additive of acrolein that provides a dual function to dissolve iron compounds and scavenge hydrogen sulfide. After dissolution of the iron compounds, free iron is formed, which can react to form iron oxide. The iron oxide can reprecipitate out of the solution. The treatment fluid can also include a second additive that is a chelating agent to chelate the free iron formed. The chelating agent can be a sugar acid. The two additives are compatible with each other and provide a synergistic effect with improved performance compared to the use of either additive alone.

Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems pertaining to the verification of portable consumer devices for 3-D Secure Systems are disclosed. In one implementation, a verification token is coupled to a computer by a USB connection so as to use the computer's networking facilities. The verification token reads identification information from a user's portable consumer device (e.g., credit card) and sends the information to a validation entry over a communications network using the computer's networking facilities. The validation entity applies one or more validation tests to the information that it receives from the verification token. If a selected number of tests are passed, the validation entity sends a 3-D Secure datum to the verification token. The verification token may enter the 3-D Secure datum into a hidden field of a Purchase Authentication Page appearing on the computer's display.
