The embodiments herein provide a method and system for estimating urban metabolism based on remotely sensed data. The system is configured to develop a model for identifying correct features from image or proxy features from image and then develop/use relation between the image feature or proxy feature from the image with the urban metabolic parameter. Further, the system develops an urban growth model which predicts spatial extent of the given proxy features. The urban growth scenario for each such conditions is different. By changing conditions of the model, different growth scenarios are played out. For each scenario, at least one urban metabolic parameter is predicted by taking output of the urban growth predictor.

  • Patent number: 11681595
Abstract: Disclosed are hardware and techniques for testing computer processes in a network system by simulating computer process faults and identifying risk associated with correcting the simulated fault and identifying computer processes that may depend on the corrected computer process. The interdependent computer processes in a network may be determined by evaluating a risk matrix having a risk score and non-functional requirement score. An analysis of the risk score and non-functional requirement score accounts for interdependencies between computer processes and identified corrective actions that may be used to determine an optimal network environment. The optimal network environment may be updated dynamically based on changing computer process interdependencies and the determined risk and robustness scores.

Abstract: Systems and methods may utilize information collected by a pulsed-neutron logging tool along with modeling a characterization of a borehole to form a 3-stage correction algorithm. This algorithm may be used to find an oil, water, and gas holdup in the borehole. During operations, a pulsed neutron logging tool which emits neutrons to interact with nuclei inducing gamma radiation. The gamma radiation is detected into a response which may be correlated to the location of a holdup in a borehole by using the entire spectrum or ratios of selected peaks. In examples, a borehole density index may be implemented to complement the response and improve accuracy and measurement confidence.
