Abstract: A hub computer receives, from a first computer, a sender message comprising a promise corresponding to a transaction comprising a promise type, an amount, a first verification key associated with the first computer, computer code, and a digital signature. The hub computer verifies the promise by at least verifying the digital signature using the first verification key, verifying that the amount is less than a first computer amount, and verifying that the hub computer is able to process the promise type. The hub computer executes the computer code to perform the transaction.

Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for moving a plate in opposite directions using a plurality of hydraulic actuators wherein at least one possible inclination of the plate relative to a specifiable reference plane is monitored by means of a sensor device which controls the actuators in such a way that the plate takes the position of the reference plane.

Abstract: Machine learning systems and methods for image splicing detection and localization are provided. The system receives an image (e.g., a still digital image, an image frame from a video file, etc.) and divides the image into a set of patches using a patch partitioning algorithm. The system then processes the patches a point set in a high-dimensional feature space, and extracts features from the patches. The system then performs deep learning on the point sets by performing image-level manipulation classification and localization.

Abstract: Computer vision systems and methods for generating building models using three-dimensional sensing and augmented reality (AR) techniques are provided. Image frames including images of a structure to be modeled are captured by a camera of a mobile device such as a smart phone, as well as three-dimensional data corresponding to the image frames. An object of interest, such as a structural feature of the building, is detected using both the image frames and the three-dimensional data. An AR icon is determined based upon the type of object detected, and is displayed on the mobile device superimposed on the image frames. The user can manipulate the AR icon to better fit or match the object of interest in the image frames, and can capture the object of interest using a capture icon displayed on the display of the mobile device.

Abstract: Examples relate to digital context aware (DCA) data collection. In some examples, a DCA start location component is positioned at a first location along a travel route, and a DCA end location component is positioned at a second location along the travel route. In response to using a wireless interface to detect the DCA start location component, data collection of measurements by a sensor are initiated. In response to using the wireless interface to detect the DCA end location component, the data collection by the sensor is halted.

Abstract: A fluid permeable heater assembly for aerosol-generating systems includes an electrically conductive flat filament arrangement and a first contact point and a second contact point for electrically contacting the flat filament arrangement. A longitudinal axis is defined between the first contact point and the second contact point. A center resistance Rc is the electrical resistance between two points situated on the longitudinal axis. One of the two points is situated at a distance from the first contact point equal to about 40 percent and the other one of the two points being situated at a distance from the first contact point equal to about 60 percent.

Abstract: A system and method are configured to perform real-time financial sweeps management. The system includes a processor, a memory, and a set of modules including a sweeps processing module, a sweeps allocation module, a file processing module, and a transaction pre-processing module. The sweeps processing module includes a policy-implementing pipeline. The file processing module process files including client information, and loads the processed files into the sweeps processing module. The transaction pre-processing module processes received financial transactions, formats the financial transactions, and loads the formatted financial transactions into the sweeps processing module. The sweeps processing module applies the processed files and the formatted financial transactions to the policy-implementing pipeline to generate sweeps allocation data. The sweeps allocation module performs an allocation of financial values to implement a financial sweep.

Abstract: An electrically heated aerosol-generating device is configured for use with a consumable cartridge including a storage portion containing an aerosol-forming substrate and having a fluid permeable internal surface surrounding an open-ended passage extending through the cartridge. The device includes a housing having a cavity for receiving the cartridge and a heater assembly positioned in the cavity. The heater assembly includes an electrically conductive hollow shaft portion connected to the housing and an electric heater positioned along the hollow shaft portion and having at least one heating element for heating the aerosol-forming substrate. The hollow shaft portion defines an airflow passage forming part of an airflow pathway through the device and is arranged to extend into the open-ended passage of the cartridge. The hollow shaft portion comprises a plurality of apertures, and the heating element is one or more narrow regions of the hollow shaft portion between adjacent apertures.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for machine learning systems to process incoming call-center calls based on caller preferences. Text of historical interactive communications of a set of first callers are used to train one or more machine learning models to extract caller preferences. These trained models extract caller preferences for a second caller to generate a customer specific profile. An automated call center assistance system is configured to selectively route, based on the customer specific profile, a current call from the second caller to a call center agent and communicate one or more of the caller preferences for the second caller to the call center agent for consideration in an interactive communication during the current call.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed are directed to a system that performs steps to perform enhanced device fingerprinting. The system at least at receives from an application, a plurality of device attributes identifying a client device on which the application is being used. The plurality of device attributes includes a push token provided by a push token service to the client device. The push token is uniquely paired to the client device. The system further transmits, to a device database, the plurality of device attributes for storage in a device profile. The system also transmits, to the application, a push notification based on the push token. The system receives, from the application, a deliverable status indicating whether the push notification was successfully transmitted to the client device, and transmits, to a notification database, the deliverable status for storage in a notification delivery profile. The system can use the information to authenticate a device.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, deploying UAVs to a geographic area based on a need to offload traffic from a terrestrial base station, instructing the base station to enforce a UE served by the base station to determine a DoA of a received pilot signal emitted from each neighboring cell and to provide determined DoAs in a measurement report to the base station, obtaining the report from the base station, wherein the report includes DoA information for a plurality of neighboring cells, analyzing the DoA information to determine, for each neighboring cell of the plurality of neighboring cells, a probability of that neighboring cell being an aerial cell, resulting in determined probabilities, and controlling an ability of the base station to perform a handover of the UE to one or more of the plurality of neighboring cells based on the probabilities. An old event consumer of the system may retrieve the deployment state event notification from the state event store. The system may deactivate an old event consumer based on retrieving the deployment state event notification, wherein the old event consumer refrains from processing topic event notifications after deactivation and continues to monitor the state event store for state event notifications. The old event consumer may publish a deactivation state event notification to the state event store based on deactivating the old event consumer. The new event consumer may retrieve the deactivation state event notification from the state event store. The system may activate the new event consumer based on retrieving the deactivation state event notification.

In various embodiments, a server may receive a first image of a front-side of a document. The server may extract a first feature of the front-side of the document from the first image and identify a first environmental feature from the first image. The server may receive a second image of a backside of the document and identify a second feature of the backside of the document from the second image. The server may also identify a second environmental feature from the second image. The server may verify the document by confirming that the first feature matches the second feature and the first environmental feature matches the second environmental feature.

Abstract: In some implementations, a server may receive, from a first user device, a request to use an encrypted representation of a digital representation of a physical identifier (ID) associated with the user. Accordingly, the server may transmit, to a second user device, a prompt associated with validation of the request, and may receive, from the second user device, a response to the prompt. The server may validate the request using the response to the prompt. The server may transmit, to a first remote server, at least a first portion of the encrypted representation with a request to perform a first action associated with the user. Abstract: Techniques for identifying a fraudulent interaction of a user device using time based risk features are described herein. In embodiments, time stamp information provided by an external clock and time units may be maintained by a user device. The user device may include an authentication component that is communicatively coupled to a clock component that generates the time units. In response to conducting an interaction with an access device and user device first time information may be received from the access device. Second time information may be determined based at least in part on the time units from the clock component and the time stamp information. The second time information may be compared to the first time information. An authentication plan for the interaction may be determined based at least in part on the comparison of the second time information to the first time information.

Abstract: A deployment server system may dynamically generate a user interface for a mobile application. The mobile application may comprise a set of interface pages and a set of workflow steps, and each workflow step may define a transition from a first interface page to a second interface page. The deployment server system obtains, from a mobile device, a workflow step request. The workflow step may include a transition from the interface page and transition data determined based on the interface page. The deployment server system determines a second interface page based on the interface page and transition data indicated in the workflow step request, generates a unit test for the second interface page. The deployment system validates the workflow step request by testing the second interface page using the generated unit test, and based on successfully validating the workflow step request, the deployment server may transmit the second interface page.
