Abstract: The system generates multiple classes of training data depending on their baseline shift. The system then trains a model or ensemble of models leveraging the entire dataset without the need for training them separately. A set of uniform input feature are generated for a user based on profile of the data (e.g., based on a user's auto loan terms and/or credit history). The system then engineers additional characteristic features based on the time criteria (e.g., based on a time period overlap with the time period of the classes and what class the profile data originated from). The system uses this time criteria (e.g., whether profile data originated from a given class and the amount of overlap of the data with a class) to determine how the feature input is processed through the models.

Abstract: An e-vapor device may include a pre-vapor sector and a heater structure arranged in thermal contact with the pre-vapor sector. The pre-vapor sector is configured to hold and dispense a pre-vapor formulation. The heater structure includes a base wire and a shell layer coating the base wire. The base wire is insulated from the shell layer. The shell layer includes at least one recessed portion between a first unrecessed portion and a second unrecessed portion. The at least one recessed portion is a thinner section of the shell layer that is configured to vaporize the pre-vapor formulation to generate a vapor. As a result of the heater design, the heater structure is stiffer and more robust than other related heaters in the art, thus allowing more options for its implementation.

  • Publication number: 20250035373
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to shelf life of produce and, more particularly, for predicting and enhancing shelf life of produce in storage facility. A significant quantity of produce such as fresh fruits and vegetable are lost before reaching the consumer, during its long-term storage in a warehouse or a storage facility. Many techniques have been employed to preserve-enhance the shelf life. However, the existing techniques do not explicitly consider factors such as air circulation, stacking of container, and respiration of the produce during shelf-life prediction. The disclosed techniques predict and enhance the shelf life of produce in storage facilities in several steps including determining a set of modelling parameters, determining a plurality of shelf-life parameters, predicting a shelf life of the produce based on generating a shelf-life prediction model, predicting a quality index and finally, enhancing the shelf-life of the produce based on an optimization technique.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a process for separating a hydrocarbon-containing feedstock stream by extractive distillation. The feedstock stream is contacted with a water-soluble solvent for aromatics in countercurrent, an aliphatics fraction is distillatively removed as aliphatics product stream from the mixture obtained. The aromatics are stripped from the aromatics-enriched solvent that remains and the aromatics-depleted solvent is recycled in a solvent circuit, with aliphatic compounds and/or compounds with aliphatic moieties accumulating in the solvent circuit as impurities. At least a substream of the solvent circuit is purified for removal of the impurities, wherein for the purifying, a liquid/liquid extraction is carried out between the substream and an extractant for aliphatics and the raffinate of the liquid/liquid extraction is recycled into the solvent circuit. • Publication number: 20250035066
Abstract: A system for controlling the power output of a Stirling is provided that includes a hot heat source and a cold heat sink. A control unit receives a first temperature signal representative of a measured temperature of the hot heat source and a second temperature signal representative of a measured temperature of the cold heat sink. A look-up table provides a representation of the power output as a function of the mean engine pressure, pie, and the operating frequency, ƒ, of the Stirling engine. The values of the power output in the look-up table have been determined for predefined temperatures of the hot heat source and the cold heat sink. The control unit is configured to, based on the received temperature signals, recalculate the values of the power output and update the look-up table accordingly, and to control the power output by controlling the mean engine pressure, pie, and the operating frequency, ƒ, based on the updated look-up table.

  • Publication number: 20250037805
Abstract: Deep learning-based generative models have improved the exploration of chemical space in small molecule drug discovery. Although thousands of novel small molecules can be generated with such models, synthesizing them still remains a challenging task. In literature, several methods have been proposed to predict the synthetic route of a target molecule by working backwards to find the most suitable starting reactants (retrosynthesis). While retrosynthesis is shown to be successful, for novel molecules it is often difficult to find the synthesis path. System and method of the present disclosure generate molecules along with its synthesis route and also provide an insight into the interactions in the active site of target protein, using graph convolution networks (GCNs) and Monte Carlo tree search (MCTS). A target-specific bioactivity prediction model is used as the scoring function to navigate the MCTS search space efficiently.
