  • Patent number: 11041807
Abstract: Various embodiments of a multi-photon microscopy system that uses sequential excitation of a sample through three or more objective lenses oriented at different axes intersecting the sample are disclosed. Each objective lens is capable of focused sequential excitation of the sample that elicits fluorescence emissions from the excited sample, which is then simultaneously detected by each respective objective lens along a respective longitudinal axis every time the sample is illuminated through only a single objective lens.

Abstract: Delegated administration of permissions using a contactless card. In one example, a permissions module may receive a request from a first account to grant a second account access to a computing resource. The permissions module may receive permissions data of the first account from a contactless card and encrypted data generated by the contactless card. The permissions module may transmit the permissions data and the encrypted data to an authentication server, which may verify the encrypted data based at least in part on the private key, and determine, based on the permissions data, that the first account has permissions to grant access to the computing resource. The permissions module may receive, from the authentication server, an indication of the verification of the encrypted data and a permissions vector associated with the second account, the permissions vector reflecting the grant of access to the computing resource to the second account.

  • Publication number: 20210182709
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to method and system for extracting contextual information from a knowledge base. The method receives a user query comprising a request to extract contextual information from the user query. Further, the user query is analyzed based on a plurality of predefined parameters to determine sufficiency of information comprised in the user query. The received user query identifies relevant sources of the structured data, the unstructured data or the semi-structured data storage repositories. The user query is processed using a fine grain approach, where a dictionary of one or more keywords with weights are created through the domain ontology builder from the one or more knowledge articles. Furthermore, an appropriate contextual information related to the user query is extracted using the fine grain approach, based on the knowledge articles associated with the trained knowledge base comprising information required by the user query extracted from the knowledge articles.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides devices, systems and computer-readable media for identifying object characteristics using a machine learning model trained to de-emphasize brightness values. The machine learning model can be trained using modified training data. Modifying the training data can include converting the training data from an original color space into a color space having a brightness channel. The values of the brightness channel for the training data can then be modified. After the values of the brightness channel are modified, the training data can be converted back into the original color space and used to train the machine learning model. A detection device can be configured with the machine learning model and used to identify object characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20210181721
Abstract: Conventionally material selection of composite structure is performed by using discrete materials available in manufacturer's databases. Thus, tailorable nature of composite materials is not exploited to achieve superior performance. Further, conventional methods perform material selection and sizing separately and do not take into account the influence of sizing on material selection and vice versa. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for multiscale material selection for designing of mechanical systems that incorporates tailoring of material microstructures and sizing to achieve improved solutions. The microstructure properties are obtained by using analytical and computational models for various composite materials. These models compute structure-property relations between bulk material properties and their micro-structural constituents.
