  • Patent number: 12175407
Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to methods and systems for initiating shipment of a connected shipment/item via a computing entity. The computing entity detects the presence of a shipment/item within a communication range of the computing entity based on received wireless communications, and initializes executable instructions upon detection of the electronically connected shipment/item to initiate shipment of the shipment/item. The executable instructions cause the computing entity to store a shipment identifier for the shipment/item, request and store shipment information/data from a user for the shipment/item, and transmit the stored shipment/item information/data and the stored shipment identifier to a carrier computing entity to generate a shipment profile for the shipment/item.

  • Patent number: 12175438
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, device, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof for blending multiple images of a financial instrument (e.g., check) into a single blended image to mitigate potential image errors. The method generates a confidence score for each of the plurality of images of the financial instrument, selects, based on the confidence score, a number of images of the financial instrument, ranks the number of images, arranging them from a highest to lowest confidence score, and assigns a weighting value, such as transparency, to each image of the selected number of images of the financial instrument, based on a respective ranking. The method builds a blended image by blending pixel content of common pixels, as modified by a respective weighting value, from the number of images and communicates the blended image to a remote deposit server.

  • Patent number: 12177209
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium are described that enable agent instances to be instantiated in secure, containerized environments. When a new container is detected, a list of agent instances expected to be running in a compute instance or in a container may be obtained and compared with status information regarding which agent instances are active. For a non-active agent instance, an agent object and configuration information for the agent instance may be obtained from a storage. Based on the available name, the agent object, and the configuration information, the agent instance may be instantiated and connected to an agent status server. An application related to the new agent instance may be deployed in the secure containerized environment.

  • Patent number: 12174093
Abstract: Cracks in foundations may be detected by sensing motion within the foundation. Depth sensors may be applied to a foundation, and the depths of the sensors may be read. At subsequent points in time the depths of the sensors may be read again. If the depths of the sensors are changing in a way that suggests that portions of the foundation are moving apart from each other, then it may be inferred that a crack is forming in the foundation. The formation of cracks may be used to take various actions. For example, the owner of the building that rests on the foundation may be information of the crack so that he or she may take remedial action.
