Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods of diagnosing, and treating and/or preventing CD55-deficiency, hyperactivation of complement, angiopathic thrombosis and protein-losing enteropathy (CHAPLE). The method of diagnosing includes: providing a sample from a patient; performing an assay detecting at least one of at least one mutation in a DNA sequence of a CD55 gene, at least one mutation in a RNA sequence of a CD55 transcript, at least one mutation in a DNA sequence of a CD55 complementary-DNA (cDNA), CD55 protein, CD55 protein binding, complement deposition or combination thereof, and diagnosing the patient with CHAPLE. The method of treating and/or preventing at least one symptom of CHAPLE includes: administering an effective amount of a composition comprising at least one complement inhibitor to a subject in need thereof, wherein the composition is effective in treating or preventing at least on symptom of CHAPLE. The disclosure further relates to compositions effective at treating and/or preventing CHAPLE.

Abstract: A method for calibrating a unit controller with a managing process determining a position of a decoupler mechanism on the pumping unit. The managing process can calibrate the unit controller with a dual pump mode in response to determining the decoupler mechanism is in a coupled position. The managing process can calibrate the unit controller with a single pump mode in response to determining the decoupler mechanism is in a decoupled position with the pumping unit operating with the first fluid end coupled to the power end and the second fluid end decoupled from the power end. The system controller can pump a wellbore treatment fluid in accordance with the pumping unit in i) the dual pump mode or ii) the single pump mode.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method that includes receiving a user command including one or more criteria characteristics in association with an account and detecting an occurrence of a transaction from the account. The transaction is associated with one or more purchase characteristics. The method includes determining whether the one or more purchase characteristics of the transaction match the one or more criteria characteristics, and recording a modified version of the one or more purchase characteristics of the transaction on a ledger of the account in response to determining the one or more purchase characteristics match the one or more criteria characteristics. The method includes recording an unmodified version of the one or more purchase characteristics of the transaction on the ledger in response to determining the one or more purchase characteristics do not match the one or more criteria characteristics.

Abstract: Aspects described herein may relate to a transaction exchange platform using a streaming data platform (SDP) and microservices to process transactions in accordance with corresponding workflows. The transaction exchange platform may generate configuration transaction objects to reconfigure microservices with salt values and time periods of salt value validity. Further, the microservices may retrieve transaction objects from a streaming data platform and generate hash signatures as part of determining the validity of the transaction objects. Furthermore, in some aspects the microservices may retrieve salt values for transaction objects that cannot be verified due to the absence of a hash signature. The salt values may be retrieved from a blockchain associated with the streaming data platform and may be used to update the microservice to include the salt value.

Abstract: The invention provides a lateral flow device and methods for the detection of antibodies to severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in a sample of bodily fluid of an animal or human. The test methods include contacting the sample with a conjugate comprising a recombinant SARS-CoV-2 spike protein antigen that has been conjugated to a detection agent, wherein an antigen-antibody complex is formed between the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein antigen conjugate and SARS-CoV-2 antibodies present in the sample; capturing the formed antigen-antibody complex with an Fc-binding molecule; and detecting the captured complex.

Abstract: A method and system of providing material based on a user-initiated request utilizing an electronic database includes receiving search keywords to conduct a search and accessing a first database having previously stored contact information for the particular user in an initial table record. The method includes transforming data in the fields of the record for the particular user in the initial table to generate a record in a sanitized table, accessing a second electronic database having previously stored data structures corresponding to businesses, where each data structure maps selected keyword combinations to corresponding icons, and to particular material corresponding to each keyword combination, and displaying icons associated with search results having corresponding selected keywords near associated result items on an electronic display.

In an example, a method may receive, in a financial institution system, a request to display a record associated with a financial transaction, determine a location of a merchant associated with the financial transaction using merchant information, request, from an online mapping service, a customizable map interface associated with the location of the merchant, receive the customizable map interface, and display the customizable map interface integrated into the record associated with the financial transaction.

Abstract: A system and method are provided which include receiving, from a first application on a user device, an indication that a user has been authenticated and receiving, from a second application on the user device, an indication that the user is detected. The user device receives the indication that the user is detected from a wearable device on the user. Based on receiving the two indications within a time period, a trust token is generated or maintained for the user.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods capable of establishing a communication session between a user and an analyst. The contents of the communication session are analyzed to make recommendations of goods and services to the user. Otherwise, the communication session may be redirected from one channel, for example, chatting to another channel, for example, voice call, to another analyst. The user's information and the communication session details are retained, and provided to another analyst before the user is redirected. Such systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products use real-time machine learning scoring algorithm to determine which analyst the users should be transferred to, and thereby saving a lot of time for both the analysts and the users, and significantly reduce misroutes by eliminating human errors.

Abstract: A system and method for using gaming as a tool to determine optimum routes through areas that have experienced a disaster are provided. Due to the disaster, an area may have some destroyed roads and other infrastructure. In one embodiment, input data collected from people on the ground, drones, and other aerial vehicles can be used to generate a virtual simulation of the area. The virtual area may include renderings of destroyed roads and infrastructure. Once created, the virtual area may be uploaded to an online gaming environment where users can participate in online games that permit them to find the best routes through the virtual area between starting and destination points. Once optimal routes are found, the system may send these routes to navigation systems used by rescuers and other people in the area to help them navigate the disaster area.

In particular, artificial intelligence is used to trigger agentless actions via one or more application programming interfaces (APIs). In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method includes: identifying a difference between pipeline and notebook representations of application logic, wherein the difference is one of (i) a notebook paragraph without a corresponding pipeline node and (ii) a pipeline node without a corresponding notebook paragraph; synchronizing the pipeline representation and notebook representation by, for the notebook paragraph that does not have a corresponding pipeline node, automatically generating a new pipeline node in the pipeline representation, and for the pipeline node that does not have a corresponding notebook paragraph, automatically generating a new notebook paragraph in the notebook representation; and updating either a pipeline user interface to show the new pipeline node or a notebook user interface to show the new notebook paragraph.

The system can include a reader configured to capture an image of an item having a computer readable code positioned thereon and a processor in data communication with the reader. The processor can generate captured image data of the item including the computer readable code, downconvert the captured image data to generate a downconverted image data and detect an edge of the computer readable code. The processor can also identify a position of the computer readable code in the downconverted image data and store or process only the identified computer readable code.

Abstract: A system, process, and computer-readable medium for securely transferring user personal identification information (PII) across platforms, based on specific permissions, are described. One or more aspects provide greater control, to a user, of when that user's PII may be released from a secure storage in a first platform and securely provided to a second platform. The timing of those releases of the PII may be controlled by specific authorizations from the user via one or more processes. Also, in addition to improving the security associated with the PII transferred between platforms, one or more aspects improve users' experiences by permitting controlled reuse of users' PII to simplify how users provide their PII to separate processes being performed on separate platforms.

Abstract: A termite detection and mitigation system can gather data describing conditions at a location, including the location's elevation, soil type, topography, weather conditions, and season. The termite detection and mitigation system can additionally obtain sensor data describing environmental conditions within a structure (e.g., a home or other building) at the location. Sensor data may be obtained using a termite sensing device placed within the structure. The termite detection and mitigation system can develop models that characterize how likely it is that termites are present within a structure based on its sensor data and associated location data. Using the models, the termite detection and mitigation system can alert users when there is a likelihood that termites are present. The termite detection and mitigation system can also deploy mitigation responses, such as poisons or sealants, to mitigate the termite intrusion.

In particular, the system may receive private keys from mobile devices of customers, which can be used to make payments on the blockchain.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and system for routing payment transactions of a payment account. After the payment transaction is initiated, a payment server identifies flag information from the payment request indicating a payment account to be multi-configurable. When the payment server identifies that the payment request is from the POS device, the payment server retrieves primary configuration details corresponding to the payment account from a routing service and routes the payment transaction for the payment request to an issuer corresponding to the primary configuration details. Further, when the payment server identifies that the payment request is from a payment gateway, the payment server retrieves a list of names of configuration details corresponding to the payment account from the routing service for selection.
