Publication number: 20220120693Abstract: State of the art food quality measurement techniques fail to determine quality of the food item once it is packed and sealed in a container. The disclosure herein generally relates to food quality prediction, and, more particularly, to a system and method for predicting food quality in a non-invasive manner. A Color Changing Indicator (CCI) in a biosensor strip forming a component of the enclosed package in which the liquid food item is packed, changes color when came in contact with the liquid food item. For different quality of the liquid food item the CCI has different color. Based on the color of the CCI, and ambient temperature and relative humidity at the time the color of the CCI is determined, a machine learning model determines rate of deterioration of the liquid food item, and then predicts remaining shelf life, which in turn provided as output to a user.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 19, 2021Publication date: April 21, 2022Applicant: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: Jayita DUTTA, Parijat DESHPANDE, Beena RAI

INCREMENTAL TIME WINDOW PROCEDURE FOR SELECTING TRAINING SAMPLES FOR A SUPERVISED LEARNING ALGORITHM
Publication number: 20220121996Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for generating labels for training a machine learning mode using an incremental time window process. The described process may be used in a recurrence detection system. A dataset may be analyzed using incremental split dates to divide the dataset into an analysis portion and a holdout portion. The analysis portion may be analyzed to determine input features related to a predicted recurrence in the dataset. The holdout portion may be tested against the analysis portion and the input features to generate a label. The label may indicate whether or not the holdout portion confirms the prediction. The testing of the holdout portion against the analysis portion may be repeated by incrementally using different split dates and multiple separate analysis portions and holdout portions to generate multiple labels and corresponding input features.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 4, 2022Publication date: April 21, 2022Applicant: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Daniel JUMPER, Jonathan BOROUMAND, Jeremy GERSTLE, Jianshi ZHAO -

Publication number: 20220121541Abstract: Disclosed are hardware and techniques for testing computer processes in a network system by simulating computer process faults and identifying risk associated with correcting the simulated fault and identifying computer processes that may depend on the corrected computer process. The interdependent computer processes in a network may be determined by evaluating a risk matrix having a risk score and non-functional requirement score. An analysis of the risk score and non-functional requirement score accounts for interdependencies between computer processes and identified corrective actions that may be used to determine an optimal network environment. The optimal network environment may be updated dynamically based on changing computer process interdependencies and the determined risk and robustness scores.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 27, 2021Publication date: April 21, 2022Applicant: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Bhavik GUDKA, Eric BARNUM

Publication number: 20220120703Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to a system and method for real-time non-invasive estimation of food quality within enclosed package. Existing works utilize invasive methods that require direct contact of the food item with the sensors. In the present disclosure, a potential is applied over a plurality of frequencies through the food item contained the enclosed package which includes a plurality of polyethylene layers and a conducting layer arranged between two adjacent polyethylene layers using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Values of electrical voltages and the electrical impedances of the food item are then obtained. A plurality of features is derived from the obtained values of the electrical voltages and the electrical impedances using a trained model. The present disclosure estimates the quality of the food item in real-time by co-relating the plurality of derived features with the quality of the food item contained inside the enclosed package.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 19, 2021Publication date: April 21, 2022Applicant: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: PARIJAT DESHPANDE, JAYITA DUTTA, BEENA RAI

Publication number: 20220122101Abstract: Most current systems decompose sales volume of a product into base volume and additional volumes associated to each sales driver. Here base volume refers to sales quantity that is derived from non-promoted sales period. It leads base volume of a product with partial price effect. In addition, base volume includes volume contributed by store location, space allocated to product category and assortment etc. In the present disclosure a system and method for sales decomposition is described by computing reference base volume and sales contribution by each sales driver. Here reference base volume is the volume derived by excluding the effect of sales drivers namely, retailer price, competitor price, demographics, weather conditions, space occupied by the category to which the product belongs, number of available substitute products in assortment. Retail strategies are recommended in real time based on sales contribution of the sales driver for the product.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 2, 2021Publication date: April 21, 2022Applicant: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: Jeisobers THIRUNAVUKKARASU, Shilpa Yadukumar RAO
