Patent number: 11159680Abstract: Techniques are described for analyzing communications sent during a service session to provide (e.g., customer) service on a social media channel, the analysis to determine a quality of service provided during the session. Natural language processing, lexical analysis, pattern matching, or other types of analysis may be used to determine an empathy factor and a conversational factor for communications between a service representative (SR) and a user during a session. The factors may be combined with other factors, such as a timely acknowledgement factor and a timely resolution factor, to generate a response quality index (RQI) for the session. Based on the RQI, feedback information may be generated and sent to the SR. In some implementations, the communications may be analyzed and feedback information sent to the SR in real time during the session, to dynamically improve service quality.Type: GrantFiled: August 11, 2020Date of Patent: October 26, 2021Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)Inventors: Renee Lynette Horne, Julie Finlay

Patent number: 11157860Abstract: A system and method for motivating parking enforcement officer performance with the aid of a digital computer is provided. A time-based active representational model of the city is created by fusing sensory data collected from various sources around a city with numerical data gleaned from historical and on-going activities, including parking regulation citation and warning numbers, resource allocations, and so on. The model can be used to form quantitative predictions of expected violations, revenue stream, and so forth, that can then be used as recommendations as to where to enforce and when, so as to maximize the utilization of the limited resources represented by the officers on the street. Moreover, the performance of the officers can be weighed against expectations of performance postulated from the quantitative predictions.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2016Date of Patent: October 26, 2021Assignee: Conduent Business Services, LLCInventors: Mark J. Patent number: 11157885Abstract: Some embodiments provide an end-to-end federated CDN solution that assimilates a transparent caching server that is operated by a transparent caching server operator into a CDN that independently operates CDN caching servers. Specifically, the logs from the transparent caching server are assimilated into the CDN by aggregating the logs from the transparent caching server and processing the transparent caching server logs to identify network usage for content of a CDN content provider customer that is delivered by the transparent caching server. The network usage is then combined with the network usage that tracked by the CDN caching servers in order to provide comprehensive report metrics for the content provider customer and to bill the content provider customer for all network usage related to delivering the content provider customer's content irrespective of whether the content was delivered by a transparent caching server or a CDN caching server.Type: GrantFiled: August 21, 2017Date of Patent: October 26, 2021Assignee: Verizon Digital Media Services Inc.Inventors: Andrew Lientz, Alexander A. Patent number: 11157972Abstract: A device receives image data of a contractual document that includes an offer including terms of a proposed transaction, converts the image data to text data that identifies text within the contractual document, and receives preferences information for a recipient of the offer. The device identifies key terms within the contractual document by using term identification to analyze the text. The key terms may include a first key term that identifies subject matter of the proposed transaction and other key terms that are part of the offer. The device determines term scores that correspond to likelihoods of the other key terms being favorable to the recipient by using a data model to analyze the key terms and the preferences information. The device, based on the term scores, generates and provides another device with a recommendation to be used in determining whether the accept the offer.Type: GrantFiled: January 10, 2019Date of Patent: October 26, 2021Assignee: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Olalekan Awoyemi, Jason Hoover, Staevan Duckworth, Geoffrey Dagley, Stephen Wylie, Qiaochu Tang, Micah Price
