Abstract: In a backlight module, when relay connectors exposed to a back side of a chassis are engaged with the connector portions of a lighting jig, the power from the power supply source of the lighting jig is supplied to discharge tubes via the connector portions and the relay connectors. Thereby, the discharge tubes can be lighted, even if a power board is not connected to the relay connectors. At the time, the lighting jig is arranged to face the back surface of the chassis, and therefore optical sheets can be mounted to the chassis from the front side.

The liquid crystal controller includes a graphic LSI arranged to autonomously create screen data from imaging data read out from a memory and image data inputted in the graphic LSI, and a control LSI arranged to receive vehicle data and create an imaging operation switching command according to the vehicle data. The graphic LSI creates the screen data in response to the imaging operation switching command, and outputs the screen data as the display data. This configuration can reduce the load on a processor connected to the vehicle network.
Abstract: The device setting system is formed by connecting an MFP and a PC having a displaying portion over a network. The PC includes a storage portion that has stored thereon information of an instruction manual including description of a method of setup operation for various setup items of the MFP and setting instruction information for each of the various setup items; if various setup items are displayed when the instruction manual is displayed on the displaying portion, the PC additionally displays a setting instruction accepting portion that accepts an instruction for setting the setup items; and if the setting instruction accepting portion accepts an instruction for setting, the PC extracts and transmits the setting instruction information for the setup items to the MFP. The MFP receives the setting instruction information and sets the setup items in the own machine based on the received setting instruction information.

In at least one embodiment, a timing signal generating apparatus provided in an active-matrix liquid crystal display apparatus includes a horizontal direction counter and a vertical direction counter for counting a clock number; and a horizontal counter cessation circuit and a vertical counter cessation circuit for stopping the horizontal direction counter and the vertical direction counter at a predetermined timing. With this structure, at least one embodiment of the present invention achieves reduction in power consumption in the liquid crystal display apparatus.
Abstract: In a backlight device, two-channel LED modules including 4-light-emitting diodes connected in series and resistive elements connected in series to the respective LED module are provided. The resistor elements provide voltage drops to the corresponding LED modules, and thereby set output voltages to the respective LED modules in a predetermined voltage range.
Abstract: A method and system for displaying for selection format-independent and format-specific imaging options for direct imaging. The method and system determines the type of imaging device that is to image an object file. It then determines and displays the format-independent imaging options supported by the imaging device, based on the type of imaging device. It determines the format of the object file. It then displays the imaging options supported by the printer that are specific to the format of the object file, based on the type of imaging device and the format of the object file. The method and system are particularly useful for direct imaging to a printer.

The Nagata current mirror circuit 21 includes a transistor Tr5 and a transistor Tr6. The transistor Tr5 has its emitter grounded, its base connected to a control input terminal 17 via a resistor R3, and its collector connected to that base via a resistor R4. The transistor Tr6 has its emitter grounded, its base connected to the collector of the transistor Tr5, and its collector connected to the base of the transistor Tr3. The arrangement is capable of compensating both the temperature characteristics of the gain of the power amplifier 1 and the control input voltage characteristics of the gain of the power amplifier 1. In other words, the arrangement is capable of reducing the temperature dependence and control input voltage dependence of the gain of the power amplifier 1.
