  • Patent number: 9519016
Abstract: A ground fault detection apparatus is an apparatus detecting a ground fault in an ungrounded AC circuit in which a single-phase three-wire AC power source is connected to a load via a U phase wire, a neutral wire, and a V phase wire, including two resistive elements having an identical resistance value, one terminals of the two resistive elements being connected to the U phase wire and the neutral wire, respectively, the other terminals thereof being connected to each other. The ground fault detection apparatus further includes a current detector detecting a value of a current flowing between the other terminals of the two resistive elements (i.e., a node N1) and a ground point. In a case where the absolute value of the current exceeds a threshold value, the ground fault detection apparatus determines that a ground fault occurs.

  • Patent number: 9520097
Abstract: In a display control circuit (200) of a display device, an image pattern detection portion (230) detects whether an image is an anti-flicker pattern or not, and when it is an anti-flicker pattern, a backlight source is driven (typically, such that its luminance changes in the opposite phase relative to luminance changes that would occur), on the basis of predicted values, which are predetermined so as to compensate for the luminance changes that would occur. Moreover, the backlight is not turned on during the scanning period. As a result, flicker due to current leakage, etc., can be reduced or eliminated in a display device for which a scanning period and a scan stop period are set.

  • Patent number: 9518750
Abstract: Disclosed is a humidification device capable of satisfying both necessary and sufficient humidification abilities and energy conserving. A humidification filter unit is immersed into water and rotates to facilitate the absorption of water. When the time from stopping of the humidification operation to the restarting thereof is long and the amount of water absorption is insufficient, the humidification filter unit rotates continuously for a predetermined time when the humidification operation restarts, and then rotates intermittently. Meanwhile, when the time from stopping of the humidification operation to the restarting thereof is short and the amount water absorption is sufficient, the humidification filter unit rotates intermittently during the humidification operation. The rotating stop time of the humidification filter unit for each intermittent rotation is set depending on the air blowing quantity of a blower fan.
