  • Patent number: 9403650
Abstract: In a sheet feeding device, when a leading end of a recording sheet is guided to a nip region along a leading end portion of a sheet guide member in contact with a surface of a separation roller, the leading end of the recording sheet slides and moves on surfaces of projected end portions to be guided to the vicinity of the nip region, and the leading end of the recording sheet passes through the nip region quickly. Hence, a sheet feed error is much less likely to occur. Since a distance from recessed end portions to the nip region is longer and the leading end of the recording sheet is in contact with the separation roller for a longer time right after passing the recessed end portions until reaching the nip region, even though a plurality of recording sheets is stacked, the recording sheets are separated one by one by the separation roller, preventing a multi-sheet feed of the sheets.

  • Patent number: 9408158
Abstract: A User Equipment (UE) is described. The UE decodes an uplink/downlink (UL/DL) reconfiguration downlink control information (DCI) with an enhanced interference mitigation with traffic adaptation (eIMTA)-radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) on a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The UE also determines if one or more valid UL/DL configurations in the UL/DL reconfiguration DCI with eIMTA-RNTI for all configured eIMTA cells are received. The UE further determines if physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) format 3 is configured. The UE additionally determines a PUCCH resource for physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) reporting based on whether valid UL/DL configurations in the UL/DL reconfiguration DCI with eIMTA-RNTI for all of the configured eIMTA cells corresponding to a subframe for the PUCCH resource are received.

Abstract: A mechanism is presented for shielding a cathode in a metal cyanometallate battery. A battery is provided with an anode, a cathode, an electrolyte, and an ion-permeable membrane separating the anode from the cathode. The cathode is made up of a plurality of metal cyanometallate layers overlying the current collector. At least one of the metal cyanometallate layers is an active layer formed from an active material AXM1YM2Z(CN)N·MH2O, where “A” is an alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, or combination thereof. At least one of the metal cyanometallate layers is a shield layer comprising less than 50 percent by weight (wt %) active material. In response to applying an external voltage potential between the cathode and the anode, the method charges the battery. Upon discharge, the shield layer blocks metal particles from contacting active layers. Simultaneously, the shield layer transports metal ions from the electrolyte to the active layers.
