The illumination device comprises a light-emitting element, a mounting substrate, a diffusion lens, and a reflection sheet having a through-hole. The diffusing lens includes a lens portion for diffusing light, and a fixed portion to be fixed to the mounting substrate. An engaging portion that sandwiches the reflection sheet between the engaging portion and the mounting substrate is formed in the fixed portion.
Abstract: A measuring device (10) includes an analysis unit (101) that holds a fluid pool (B) of blood or serum therein, an irradiation unit (105) that irradiates fluorescent substances contained in the fluid pool (B) with excitation light, and a light receiving unit (106) that receives fluorescence generated from the fluorescent substances. An amount of the fluorescent substances contained in the blood or the serum after artificial dialysis is estimated from the intensity of the fluorescence.
Abstract: A vapor deposition source (60), a plurality of control plates (80) and a vapor deposition mask (70) are disposed in this order. A substrate (10) is moved relative to the vapor deposition mask in a state in which the substrate and the vapor deposition mask are spaced apart at a fixed interval. Vapor deposition particles (91) discharged from a vapor deposition source opening (61) of the vapor deposition source pass through neighboring inter-control plate spaces (81) and mask openings (71) formed in the vapor deposition mask, and then adhere to the substrate to form a coating film (90). At least a part of the coating film is formed by the vapor deposition particles that have passed through two or more different inter-control plate spaces. It is thereby possible to form a coating film in which edge blur and variations in the thickness are suppressed.
Abstract: There is provided a display device capable of suppressing brightness change which can occur at the time of image update in intermission driving. A display control circuit (20) includes a frame memory (101), a coercive refreshing determination section (104), a refreshing circuit (105), and an undershoot circuit (106). The coercive refreshing determination section (104) outputs an active coercive refreshing signal and an active correction instruction signal upon determining that an image is updated. The refreshing circuit (105) receives the active coercive refreshing signal, and then outputs an active output control signal. The frame memory (101) receives the active output control signal, and then outputs an image data. The undershoot circuit (106) performs, if in reception of the active correction instruction signal, a correction by making a subtracting operation to the image data received from the frame memory (101), and then outputs corrected image data.

Abstract: A surface mounted light emitting device having superior reliability with a focus on low cost producibility, in which a protective element can be formed without lowering the efficiency of light emission from a light emitting element, is provided. Since, for example, a printed resistance 16, as a protective element, is formed on at least the top surface side, the back surface side, or the inside of an insulating film 2 and, for example, the printed resistance 16, as a protective element, is formed on the rear surface side of the installation surface of a light emitting element 11, light emitted from the light emitting element 11 is not obstructed due to light blocking, light absorption or the like by, for example, the printed resistance 16, as a protective element.
Abstract: An electric power control section includes: a temperature detecting section for detecting temperatures of a battery; and an accumulation counter for accumulating numerical values assigned to the respective temperatures of the battery which have been detected by the temperature detecting section. The electric power control section reduces electric power supply to an LCD display section when an accumulated value obtained by the accumulation counter exceeds a preset value.
Abstract: A unit circuit (11) includes: a transistor (T2) having its drain terminal to be supplied with a clock signal (CK) and its source terminal connected to an output terminal (OUT); a transistor (T9) which, when supplied with an active all-on control signal (AON), outputs an ON voltage to the output terminal (OUT), and which, when supplied with a nonactive all-on control signal (AONB), stops outputting the ON voltage; a transistor (T1) which supplies the ON voltage to a control terminal of the transistor (T2) in accordance with an input signal (IN); a transistor (T4) which, when supplied with the active all-on control signal (AON), supplies an OFF voltage to a control terminal of the transistor (T2). This makes it possible to provide a shift register of a simple structure that can prevent a malfunction from occurring after all-on operation, and to provide a display device.
Abstract: The present invention relates to recombinant C. difficile toxin A (TcdA) and toxin B (TcdB) and binary toxin A (CDTa) proteins comprising specifically defined mutations relative to the native toxin sequence that substantially reduce or eliminate toxicity.
