Abstract: In a display signal generator for use in a display device, in order to display the image corresponding to the input image signals, a combination of desired display time aperture ratios are obtained for each pixel in N number of sub-frame phases, a combination of display time aperture ratios in the N number of sub-frame phases at the time the display color is actually reproduced is set from the combination of the desired time aperture ratios on the basis of response characteristics of a pixel array unit, and a modulation signal which implements the combination of display time aperture ratios that were set is output.
Abstract: A core network includes a PDN connection holding unit that associates and stores information regarding PDN connection with information indicating an address block configured as a set of a plurality of addresses identifying a plurality of the information terminal devices. Therefore, it is possible to suppress an increase in the processing load and a limitation of providable services, even in the case in which an ad-hoc network is formed between a mobile terminal device and a plurality of terminal equipments and a PDN connection is made by the terminal equipments using the mobile terminal device as an MT.

Abstract: A stepping motor control device includes a driving IC driving a stepping motor by PWM control, and a setting circuit for setting PWM frequency of the driving IC. The setting circuit sets the driving IC such that in stepping motor accelerating and decelerating periods, the PWM frequency of the driving IC becomes higher than the PWM frequency of the driving IC in a constant-speed period of the stepping motor. Thus, power loss of the driving IC in the stepping motor accelerating and decelerating periods can be reduced, and ripple current can be reduced.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing an anodized film according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: (a) providing a multilayer structure that includes a base, a sacrificial layer which is provided on the base and which contains aluminum, and an aluminum layer which is provided on a surface of the sacrificial layer; (b) partially anodizing the aluminum layer to form a porous alumina layer which has a plurality of minute recessed portions; and (c) after step (b), separating the porous alumina layer from the multilayer structure. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a self-supporting anodized film which includes a porous alumina layer can be manufactured more conveniently as compared with the conventional methods.

Abstract: In a liquid crystal display device for performing pause driving, occurrence of flicker is effectively suppressed while an increase in power consumption is suppressed. A frame in which an image signal is inputted without requesting an external portion to input the image signal is set as a refresh frame by a reversal driving technique deciding portion. A pause frame counting portion counts the number of times of pause frames since the previous refresh frame as a count value. The comparison portion compares the count value with a previously set threshold. As a result, when the count value is not smaller than the threshold, the reversal driving technique deciding portion sets a reversal driving technique in the first input frame to dot-reversal driving. When the count value is smaller than the threshold, the reversal driving technique deciding portion sets a reversal driving technique in the first input frame to column-reversal driving.
Abstract: In a light emitting section, a phosphor layer including a first phosphor particle which receives excitation light and emits fluorescence with a first peak wavelength and a phosphor layer including a second phosphor particle which receives the excitation light and emits fluorescence with a second peak wavelength are stacked. In the light emitting section, when an upper surface is a surface from which illumination light is mostly emitted, the illumination light including the fluorescence emitted from the first phosphor particle and the fluorescence emitted from the second phosphor particle, a reflective member to reduce leakage of fluorescence is provided on a side surface of the light emitting section.
