Abstract: Provided is a mobile communication system in which a first base station included in a first access network initiatively performs a handover from the first base station to a second base station, with respect to communication including a plurality of flows, the second base station determines an availability of a handover for each flow, and notifies the mobile station of the determination result, and the mobile station switches communication of a flow for which the handover is determined to be possible, from a transfer path over the second access network to a transfer path over the first access network. Thus, in the handover of the mobile station between access systems, the handover is initiatively performed by a base station, a handover destination access system determines a communication flow to be handed over and a communication flow to be handed over, and the access networks are switched based on the determination result, so as to continue communication.

  • Patent number: 9131085
Abstract: In a communication system, an image forming apparatus sends an address of a receiving section to a mobile terminal. The mobile terminal receives a selection of an image data among plural thumbnails displayed on a display section, and wirelessly sends the selected image data to the image forming apparatus with the address. The image forming apparatus receives the selected image data sent with the address by the mobile terminal, and prints an image based on the selected image data. A communication between the mobile terminal and the image forming apparatus is performed wirelessly with an IEEE 802.11 standard. The image forming apparatus continuously performs a second printing, when the receiving section receives a selected image data again in a condition that the communication with the mobile terminal is continuously established by the receiving section after the printing of the received image data is finished.

  • Patent number: 9127830
Abstract: In a surface light source apparatus 1 for irradiating light in a planar form by arranging a plurality of tubular light sources 2 at high density in the middle of a screen so that brightness at the middle of the screen is high, each tubular light source 2 positioned in rows at topmost and bottommost edges is arranged to be closer toward screen corner sections in a plan view so as to compensate for lack of brightness at the screen corner sections in a plan view. In this manner, each tubular light source 2 is arranged by placing each tubular light source 2 in the rows at the topmost and bottommost edges closer in a row direction toward each corner section B of the reflection sheet 5. Thereby, brightness at the middle of a screen is maintained and enhanced, and display quality at corner sections of the screen is improved.

  • Patent number: 9131203
Abstract: Where 3D conversion complementary information for 3D conversion of a TV program is pre-recorded on a first information recording area of an optical disc, a content recording area is set to an area on which the TV program relating to the 3D conversion complementary information is recordable. Where the 2D video content is pre-recorded on the first information recording area, download information, etc for recording the 3D conversion complementary information on a 3D conversion complementary information recording space is pre-recorded on a third information recording area so that 2D video content can be reproduced as 3D video. This allows recording and viewing 3D video by easily converting 2D video content, without changing standards and communication formats of generally available 2D video contents and while suppressing an increase in distributed information amount caused by conversion to 3D video.
