Abstract: A sampling needle (21) is inserted into a sample container (12) by a needle-driving mechanism (23) to collect a sample liquid from the sample container. A depth information acquirer (52) acquires insertion depth information, i.e., a piece of information concerning an insertion depth of the sampling needle into the sample container. A needle-rinsing length setter (54) sets a needle-rinsing length which is an insertion length of the sampling needle into a rinse storage tank (30) having an open top, based on the insertion depth information. A controller (51) controls the needle-driving mechanism so that a portion of the sampling needle extending from the tip of the sampling needle over the needle-rinsing length is inserted into the rinse storage tank. The needle-rinsing length setter is configured to set a shorter needle-rinsing length for a smaller insertion depth of the sampling needle into the sample container, to shorten the needle-cleaning time.

  • Patent number: 11869759
Abstract: After performing an analysis on a standard sample for a predetermined time, a plurality of ion optical elements such as an ion guide are sequentially selected one by one, and a direct-current voltage having a polarity different from that at the time of analysis is temporarily applied. Meanwhile, intensity data of ions having a specific m/z are continuously collected. After thus collecting the data, the ratio of the ion intensities before and after application of direct-current voltages having different polarities is calculated for each ion optical element, and it is determined whether or not the ratio is equal to or larger than a predetermined threshold value.

  • Patent number: 11861826
Abstract: At the time of superimposing and aligning a stained image and a mass spectrometric (MS) image obtained for the same sample, an image display processor displays, on the superimposed images, grid lines (62) at the spacing corresponding to an operation of a grid spacing adjustment slider (63). When an operator depresses an image deformation range “SET” button (64), specifies an arbitrary area on the superimposed images with a mouse, and then depresses a “SELECT” button (65), an image deformation range specification receiving section determines an image deformation range. When the operator selects an intersection (grid point) of the grid lines (62) within the image deformation range and performs an operation of moving the intersection point to an arbitrary position, an image deformation processor deforms an image included in the image deformation range in accordance with the operation.

Abstract: To properly set a predetermined threshold for the number of times of occurrence of an abnormality for issuing an alarm. A vacuum pump system includes a storage, a pump controller, and a setter. The storage stores a first threshold for the number of times of occurrence of the abnormality for outputting the alarm. The pump controller counts the number of times of occurrence of the abnormality caused in a vacuum pump, determines whether or not the number of times of occurrence of the abnormality is the first threshold or more, and outputs the alarm in a case where the number of times of occurrence of the abnormality is the first threshold or more. The setter sets or changes the first threshold on the basis of an operation state of the vacuum pump.

Abstract: In an ionization device for an ionization chamber (11) separated from an analysis chamber (12-14) by a partition wall having an ion introduction port (113), an ionization probe (111) sprays a liquid sample. A heated-gas supply mechanism (112), which includes a gas supply source and a heating section (1122) for heating a gas supplied from the gas supply source, expels the gas in a direction intersecting with the direction in which the liquid sample is sprayed from the ionization probe. A controller (32) controls an operation of the heated-gas supply mechanism so that the gas is continuously expelled from the heated-gas supply mechanism regardless of the presence or absence of an operation by a user while the liquid sample is sprayed from the ionization probe. The continuous expulsion of the gas from the heated-gas supply mechanism prevents this mechanism from being contaminated by the sprayed liquid.
