  • Patent number: 10757514
Abstract: A method of suppressing an acoustic reverberation in an audio signal includes providing an audio signal, carrying out a first level measurement of the audio signal and carrying out a second level measurement of the audio signal at least temporarily during the first level measurement. The first level measurement is carried out with a decay time and/or adjustment time that differs from a decay time or adjustment time of the second level measurement. An acoustic reverberation of the sound event in the audio signal is suppressed by attenuating the audio signal in response to a sound event in the audio signal. The attenuation is controlled as a function of a difference between the first level measurement and the second level measurement. A hearing device is also provided.

  • Patent number: 10674283
Abstract: A method distorts the frequency of an input signal that is present as an audio signal. Here, the input signal is divided into a low-frequency signal component and a high-frequency signal component. These two signal components adjoin one another at a cut-off frequency. The high-frequency signal component is frequency-distorted and overlaid with the low-frequency signal component to form an output signal. An associated gain factor is modified, at least for an edge region, containing the cut-off frequency, of the high-frequency signal component and/or of the low-frequency signal component, such that a level difference between a signal level of the low-frequency signal component and a signal level of the frequency-distorted high-frequency signal component is increased.

  • Patent number: 10659890
Abstract: A method for operating a hearing device. In the hearing device a first directional signal and a second directional signal are generated from an ambient sound signal. The first directional signal and the second directional signal are used to determine at a first response time a first adaptation coefficient for a first superposition of the first directional signal with the second directional signal for the purpose of noise suppression. It is intended here that the first directional signal and the second directional signal are used to determine at a second response time a second adaptation coefficient for a second superposition of the first directional signal with the second directional signal for the purpose of noise suppression. The first adaptation coefficient and the second adaptation coefficient are used to determine an output adaptation coefficient for forming an output signal by superposition of the first directional signal and the second directional signal.

  • Patent number: 10652670
Abstract: A method operates a hearing aid which has at least one input transducer and at least one output transducer. An input signal is generated by the at least one input transducer from a sound signal in the environment. From the input signal, a classification of a hearing situation of the environment is determined and/or at least one of four parameters including tonality, loudness, stationarity and reverberation time is determined for the sound signal of the environment. A first intermediate signal is generated in dependence on the input signal by signal processing. Wherein by the classification of the hearing situation and by at least one of the four parameters of tonality, loudness, stationarity and reverberation time, at least one parameter of a frequency distortion is predetermined. The frequency distortion predetermined in this way is applied to the first intermediate signal.

  • Patent number: 10645503
Abstract: A method for producing a housing part of a hearing device. The housing part serves to receive electronic components of the hearing device in a housing interior. Fibers are used to build up a fiber skeleton for a wall of the housing part at least partially surrounding the housing interior. A mechanical property of the wall is varied in a predefined manner along a reference direction of the housing part by way of the fibers. The fiber skeleton is then infiltrated, at least over part of its longitudinal extent, with a matrix material. There is also described a housing part of a hearing device and a hearing device with a housing part formed with fibers.
