  • Patent number: 9960713
Abstract: An impact producing actuator can vary energy to be applied to a shape memory alloy, depending on, for example, an ambient temperature. The impact producing actuator has a drive signal generation unit that generates a drive signal based on a single pulse signal generated in response to an input operation and outputs the drive signal, a switching element whose switching operation is controlled by the drive signal, and a shape memory alloy through which electric current passes for a period of time during which the switching element is turned on or off. The impact producing actuator is configured such that the period of time during which the switching element is turned on or off varies depending on the ambient temperature.

  • Patent number: 9946967
Abstract: A temporary carrier of a removable memory card (2) is in the shape of a flat card (1), where the removable memory card (2) forms an element to be released from the flat card body (1). The removable memory card (2) has at least five additional contacts (4) for temporary usage before the removable memory card is removed from the flat card (1) body. The additional contacts (4) take up a smaller surface as a contact field (5) of a standardized flat card (1). The removable memory card (2) is located within the flat card (1) in such a way that the position of additional contacts (4) corresponds to the position of a standardized flat card (1) contact field (5). The suitable sixth additional switch contact (8) can be used to switch secure elements. The temporary carrier is inserted into a standard burning device, which operates with it in the same way as it would with a common card with a contact field (5).

  • Publication number: 20180103530
Abstract: The respective proportionality constants of magnetic force by magnetic field producing portion for biasing the plug in the direction of insertion and resilient force by a spring mechanism for biasing the plug in the direction of extraction are adjusted in such a manner that the resilient force is greater than the magnetic force until the plug pin reaches an intermediate insertion position at which the plug pin comes into proximity to or separates from the socket contact, whereas the magnetic force is greater than the resilient force at a position at which the plug pin is inserted into a complete insertion position for a hot-line connection to the socket contact. The plug pin in the vicinity of the intermediate insertion position, at which there is a possibility of occurrence of an arc discharge, is ejected by the resilient force.

  • Patent number: 9935400
Abstract: An arc discharge prevention structure of a socket for preventing continuous occurrence of an arc discharge which can result in a fire, by using a configuration for deflecting an arc to avoid damage to a contact is provided. At least part of a pair of permanent magnets that forms a magnetic field for deflecting an arc in a connection/disconnection area where a plug pin and a socket contact are connected and disconnected is located in an opening surface side of a socket housing in which a plug insertion hole is opened. A magnetic body of the plug is attracted to bias the plug pin to a connection position where the plug pin is hot connected to the socket contact.

  • Patent number: 9909572
Abstract: A drive device includes: a base member having, on a surface, an operation base part made up of one or more operation recesses; and a movable member disposed to be opposed to the base member and having, on the opposing surface, operation projections to be inserted into the operation recesses. A shape memory alloy member is interposed between the base member and the movable member, and the movable member is moved so as to be separated away from the base member in response to the contraction of the shape memory alloy member when energized. The drive device includes a spring which is supported by the base member and bias the movable member so as to be separated away from the base member.

  • Patent number: 9903538
Abstract: A connector capable of easily holding, and establishing electrical connection of, an LED module substrate and achieving highly-reliable electrical connection is provided. The connector for holding, and establishing electrical connection of, an LED module substrate includes: a lower cover member for placing the LED module substrate thereon; and an upper cover member pivotally attached to an end of the lower cover member. The upper cover member includes a feeding connection terminal configured to be elastically in contact with a feeding pad provided in the LED module substrate. When the upper cover member is closed relative to the lower cover member with a pivotal movement, the connection terminal elastically connects with a surface of the feeding pad while sliding thereon.

  • Patent number: 9906141
Abstract: In a DC-DC converter, a voltage at a connection point on the side of connection with a primary winding of a switching transistor is compared to a threshold voltage set within a variation range of the voltage at the connection point while the switching transistor is performing a switching operation, and, when the polarity by which the voltage was compared to the threshold voltage does not change during a detection period longer than the predetermined period of the drive signal for bringing the switching transistor under switching control, the switching transistor is determined as being operating in an active state with a danger of heat generation.

  • Patent number: 9859634
Abstract: A connection assembly includes an optical electronic part and a socket. A conductive pad connected to a photoelectric conversion element of the optical electronic part is oriented with imaging field of view upward, and slidably contacts a contact of the socket. The optical electronic part includes an insulating case with a flange protruding along a horizontal plane, and a conductive pad that is exposed in an outer surface parallel to the horizontal plane. The socket includes a guide portion that slidably guides the flange portion along the horizontal plane, and a contact fixed to a housing opposed to the outer surface in which the conductive pad is exposed, with a contact portion located in a movement locus of the conductive pad sliding with the flange portion along the horizontal plane. As the insulating case is operated, the contact makes sliding contact with the conductive pad to provide a self-cleaning effect.
