  • Patent number: 10110123
Abstract: In a DC-DC converter, a voltage at a connecting point where a switching transistor is connected to an inductor is compared with a threshold voltage set within a variation range of the voltage at the connecting point during switching operation of the switching transistor. When a polarity in which the voltage at the connecting point and the threshold voltage are compared does not vary in a detection time longer than the predetermined period of a driving circuit, the switching transistor is determined to be operating in an active state with a risk of heat generation.

  • Patent number: 10111332
Abstract: A composite cable is provided which can connect a power line for feeding drive power to flat panel-shaped electric equipment and a signal line for outputting an electric signal to the electrical equipment at the narrow side surface of the electrical equipment. A flexible printed circuit board constitutes an end connection unit of the flexible composite cable to be connected to the electrical equipment, so that the composite cable can be connected to a side surface of the electrical equipment. Since the lateral width of the flexible printed circuit board is sufficiently long, a power trace is made thin and wide, so that the resistance value per unit length can be reduced and a current carrying capacity that allows the use of high power current can be adopted.

  • Patent number: 10061433
Abstract: A touch-type input device includes a touch panel in which drive electrodes and sensor electrodes are arranged in a grid pattern that provide capacitors. The touch-type input device also includes a controller that determines whether or not there is a touch based on data values that each indicate an amount of change in capacitance of each capacitor from a predetermined reference value. The controller sets the reference value by obtaining a parasitic capacitance of each capacitor when the touch-type input device is activated. When determining from a variation range of the parasitic capacitances of the capacitors that an erroneous reference value has been obtained, the controller re-obtains a parasitic capacitance.
