  • Patent number: 9837896
Abstract: An object of the present disclosure is to provide a DC-to-DC converter with a simple circuit configuration that continues the supply of direct current power to a load without providing a redundant power supply circuit even if a switching transistor operates abnormally in the active state. A protection circuit unit that converts an input voltage of a direct current input power supply to a different direct current voltage obtained by stepping down the input voltage, as in a direct current voltage conversion circuit unit including a first switching transistor, is connected between the direct current voltage conversion circuit unit and the direct current input power supply and, if the first switching transistor operates in an active state, direct current power of the direct current voltage converted by the protection circuit unit is supplied to a load causing the first switching transistor to maintain operating in the active state.

  • Patent number: 9807321
Abstract: An imaging device that reliably images an object flashing at a period closely analogous to an output period of a moving image within a certain period is provided. A first common frame image, which is synthesized from pixel signals produced by photoelectric conversion elements arranged in row selection lines from a second start row selection line to an end row selection line, is extracted from a first frame image synthesized by an image sensor starting at a first start row selection line. As a moving image, a sequence of the first common frame images and second frame images synthesized by the image sensor starting at the second start row selection line is produced. Due to the phase difference between an imaging period of the first common frame image and an imaging period of the second frame image, a flashing object is captured in any of the frame images.

  • Patent number: 9748705
Abstract: A contact structure is provided. The contact structure suppresses arcing that can occur between contacts that establish a live connection, without increasing the size of the contact structure, and without making longer the length of the inserting/drawing stroke of a correspondingly formed contact. A live contact portion of a first contact, and an auxiliary contact portion of an auxiliary contact body configured with a high resistance resistor having a base end connected portion that establishes an electrical connection with the first contact front on a movement path of a second contact at positions that are shifted in front and rear directions while being distanced by a width that allows simultaneously contact with the second contact. If the second contact separates from the first contact, the auxiliary contact body configured with the high resistance resistor intervenes between the first contact and the second contact, and inhibits arcing.

  • Patent number: 9742468
Abstract: The method and solution can be mainly used for data transmission in cashless payment applications, especially those realized from the mobile phone while using RFID and/or NFC platform. The signals with different frequency are combined in antenna system (M) of the receiver (1) and transmitter (2) and then the carrier signal is separated from the result of the combined signals and the transmitted data are demodulated. The difference between the frequencies has a value, that corresponds to the size of the subcarrier frequency to which the receiver (1) is preset. During transmission the transformer connection coefficient can have the value k=0.2-0.001, while the antenna (3) of the receiver (2) is tuned narrowly to the transmitter's (2) frequency without considering the subcarrier frequency. The transmitter is preferably located on a memory card or on a card with a format and interface of a memory card, e.g. micro SD.

  • Patent number: 9732737
Abstract: A drive unit includes a base member having an operation base having operation recesses in a front surface, a movable member that is disposed to be opposite to the base member and has operation projections to be inserted into the operation recesses in an opposed surface, and a shape memory alloy member that is disposed between the base member and the movable member and shrinks by heat generated by passing an electric current. In conjunction with the shrinkage of the shape memory alloy member by the passage of the electric current, the movable member is moved in a direction away from the base member. The base member has a fixed portion in its middle in a core axial direction of the shape memory alloy member, to fix the middle on a support member.

  • Patent number: 9728880
Abstract: The present invention is intended to provide a contact contacting structure for hot-line connection between contacts configured such that the occurrence of arc discharge between contacts is suppressed by a simple configuration. At least one of contact/separation contact surfaces in a pair opposed to each other at the contact/separation position between a first contact and a second contact is covered with an oxide film. At the time of contact or separation of the first contact and the second contact, the oxide film as an insulator intervenes between the paired contact/separation contact surfaces to decrease energy accumulated between the first contact and the second contact at the instant of contact or separation of the two contacts, thereby suppressing the occurrence of arc discharge.

  • Patent number: 9721493
Abstract: A touch-type input device includes a touch panel. Capacitors are formed at intersections of drive electrodes and sensor electrodes in the touch panel. A controller determines whether the touch panel has been touched from data values, each indicating a change amount in the capacitance from a reference value. When detecting from the data values a change in the capacitance to a reverse polarity differing from the polarity when a human body touches the touch panel, the controller determines that external noise caused the change and stops detecting touching of the touch panel. When the controller detects a change in the capacitance to the reverse polarity, at the same time, the location of where the capacitance of the reverse polarity is detected does not shift, the controller determines that the change in the capacitance is irrelevant to influence of external noise and continues to detect touching of the touch panel.

  • Patent number: 9704677
Abstract: Provided is a contact contacting structure that reliably prevents the development of arc discharge in a simple configuration regardless of the magnitude of electric energy accumulated between a pair of contacts that are connected and disconnected. An intermediate contact body disposed continuously with a first contact along a movement path of a second contact is formed from material with higher electric resistivity than the first contact in a shape such that the cross sectional area of a transverse section perpendicular to the movement path is gradually decreased in a separating direction along the movement path.

  • Patent number: 9696862
Abstract: A capacitance type touch panel is provided which distinguishes a noise signal with ease and detects an input operation position with high accuracy, without extensively modifying the structure of a touch panel. The capacitance type touch panel is provided with capacitance change judgment unit for comparing a voltage variation level R(n,m) of a detection electrode S(n) detected by capacitance detection unit with a detection threshold value. If the voltage variation levels R(n,m) of all the detection electrodes S(n) are equal to or more than the detection threshold value while outputting a detection signal to any drive area DV(m), it is assumed that noise occurs for the long period of outputting the detection signal to the drive area DV(m), and position detection unit does not detect the input operation position.
