The method includes identifying one or more payment options associated with the device identifier, where each of the one or more payment options is associated with respective payment instrument information. The method includes providing one or more codes, where each code of the one or more codes identifies a respective payment option of the one or more payment options. The method includes receiving a first code of the one or more codes and transaction information. The method includes accessing, based upon the first code, payment instrument information associated with the payment option identified by the first code, and causing the processing of the payment instrument information in relation to a transaction identified by the transaction data.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for enhanced browsing. The apparatus includes a user interface for presenting an enhanced browsing window of content identified by a link in a page displayed by a browser. The apparatus may include a prefetcher for fetching or prefetching the content and a cache for storing the window. The apparatus may also include an ad interface for retrieving advertisements for display with the content. When a first page is displayed in the browser, content identified by a link to a second page is automatically fetched and an enhanced browsing window, which may initially be invisible, is built. When a user mouses-over a status indicator associated with the link, the window is automatically displayed and the user can navigate the displayed content. The status indicator may change appearance to indicate a status of the prefetching (e.g., initiated, completed, success, failure, communication error).

Abstract: An earbud adapter or in-ear monitor includes an Ear Interface that fits the human ear and further permits the wearer of these devices to adjust parameters of the fit. In additional aspects, the Ear Interface portion of these devices permits the user to adjust the transmission of ambient sound. The Ear Interface portion also allows the user to change ornamentation.

Abstract: A system including a votex-induced vibration (VIV) suppression device dimensioned to suppress a vortex induced vibration of a support structure, the VIV suppression device having a base portion that encircles at least a portion of the support structure and a support member formed along the base portion. The system further including a collar having a body portion defining an annular channel and a flange portion extending outwardly from the annular channel, the flange portion dimensioned to form a receiving channel around the support structure for receiving the support member. The support member is received within the receiving channel to secure the VIV suppression device to the support structure and the VIV suppression device is capable of rotating around the support structure along the receiving channel.

The programmable communicator further includes a processing module including program code configured to determine if the transmission is from an authenticated caller by determining whether a received transmission contains the unique identifier, and memory configured to store telephone numbers or IP addresses received in transmissions from an authenticated caller.

Abstract: An aqueous hydraulic fluid composition comprising of one or more lubricants such as a monovalent metal salt, ammonium, or amine salt of a dicarboxylic acid, such as a C21 dicarboxylic acid is described in which the aqueous hydraulic fluid composition demonstrates increased thermal stability when exposed to elevated temperatures for a prolonged period of time while being able to tolerate the presence of 10% v/v synthetic seawater. The aqueous hydraulic fluid composition contains less than about 20% by weight (preferably none or substantially none) of an oil selected from the group consisting of mineral oils, synthetic hydrocarbon oils, and mixtures thereof. The hydraulic fluid hereof preferably comprises a cyclical or ring base tertiary amine with no hydroxyl functionality such as 1,4-dimethyl piperazine.

Abstract: The present invention is an improved apparatus and method for forming a retractable tower or column. The present invention includes pointed hooks wherein the hooks are attached to each section of a section chain, one in a horizontal direction and one in an off-set manner. The section chains are placed on a take up mechanism in an operable position and then raised utilizing a motor. As the section chains are raised, they are guided by a guide tower, rollers, shims, and gear racks into a position whereby hooks from adjacent sections of the section chains form coupled engagements. The coupled engagement of the hooks of the sections of each adjacent section chains thereby form the column.

Abstract: A fire protection system includes a dry pipe system and a controlled discharge gas vent. The dry pipe system and controlled discharge gas vent operate using a breathing cycle to displace oxygen and/or water vapor from within the piping network of the dry pipe system. The controlled gas discharge vent allows displacement of pressurized air with nitrogen, for example, using manual or automated processes that can employ one or more sensors. Corrosion resulting from oxygen, water, and/or microbial growth is reduced or nearly eliminated.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods, systems, and apparatus for providing query support for a real-time patient care graphical view. Location information associated with one or more patients and information associated with at least one indicator of care of at least one of the patients may be received. A graphical user interface may display the location information associated with the patients and the at least one indicator of care of at least one of the patients in a geospatial arrangement. The graphical user interface may be updated when a change occurs in either the location information associated with the patients or the at least one indicator of care of at lease one of the patients. In addition, a user query for the location information associated with each of the patients receiving care from a physician may be received and output in the geospatial arrangement via the graphical interface.

Abstract: A method of repairing a wind turbine blade while mounted on a tower without removing the blade from the tower is provided. The method may begin by positioning the wind turbine blade in a substantially vertical orientation. Next, a containment structure is suspended from a nacelle via a hoisting system that positions the containment structure at a damaged portion of the blade. The damaged portion is enclosed within the containment structure and the temperature of the air within the containment structure is controlled. The blade is repaired by removing a damaged portion of the blade, and installing a repair portion to the blade where the damaged portion was removed. The method may conclude by operating the hoisting system to remove the containment structure from the blade.

Abstract: A device and method for casino chip recognition and accounting. The device includes a box having a slot in which chips can be deposited. The slot is connected to a chute which has a window through which a surface of the chip can be seen as it travels along the slot. A chip recognition device which can be a camera is arranged in a position to observe or detect the chip as it travels past the window, and is connected to a controller which utilizes recognition software programmed to compare the chip that it has detected with known chip images or data stored in memory to determine the chip denomination. The controller then signals a central computer the amount received. The system is useable for tracking and accounting for tips at casino table games. It can also be used for cashing in chips as well as detecting counterfeits.

Abstract: A dyslexia screening system suitable for clinical use includes an integrated headset that efficiently and conveniently performs an auditory evoked response (ERP) test by positioning electrodes about the ears of the subject. An integral control module automatically performs the test, providing simplified controls and indications to the clinician. A number of screening tests that are stored in the headset are periodically uploaded for billing, remote analysis and result reporting. A paradigm that characterizes testing performed for a subject along with the patient identification and/or patient demographics are stored in an associated fashion for later fusion and analyses with similar but not necessarily identically constructed ERP tests.
