Abstract: A system for separating contaminants from fluids provides a modular mobile continuously operable site configurable multi-phase filtering system having an oil water separator 100, a dwell tank 220, a waste tank 250, an electrocoagulator 120 having plural concentrically aligned perforated tubular sacrificial electrodes, a first and a parallel second particulate filter 300A, 300B, a first and parallel second step-down membrane filter 400A, 400B, an optional ultra filtration filter 500, an optional reverse osmosis filter 600, a mixing station 700 and a totalizer and sensor array 900 to analyze, filter and treat fluids by separating contaminants and particulates and adjusting chemical content to meet specifications desired which will allow the use and re-use of the filtered fluid and the separated contaminants.

Abstract: A control system for a refrigeration system with dual evaporators is provided. In one embodiment, a control system for a dual evaporator refrigeration system is provided where the evaporators are operated simultaneously to provide for improved temperature and humidity control in a refrigerator appliance. In another embodiment, the control system can also use a linear model that is designed to minimize or remove excess enthalpy from one or more compartments and/or features of the appliance. The control system can also be configured with at least one variable speed compressor that is operated at a speed that will remove excess enthalpy within a desired time period while also operating at an optimized speed for energy efficiency.

Abstract: A fixing device includes a fixing member, a pressuring member and a heater. The fixing member is configured to be rotatable. The sensing device includes a plurality of electrode patterns located in the active region and a plurality of connecting lines respectively connected between the electrode patterns and the flexible printed circuit board so as to electrically connect the electrode patterns and the flexible printed circuit board, wherein at least a part of the connecting lines is located in the non-active region, and the connecting lines are connected to the bonding surface of the flexible printed circuit board.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, there is provided a storage controller for use in a tiered storage system. The tiered storage system includes a first storage device having the first physical volume of a first tier, and a second storage device having the second physical volume of a second tier lower than the first tier. The cache controller of the storage controller divides the storage area of the first physical volume into a set of data areas and a set of cache areas. The cache controller changes the first cache area of the first physical volume to a first data area, when first data to be transferred from the second physical volume to the first physical volume is also stored in the first cache area.
Abstract: An integrated circuit includes a transmit/receive (T/R) circuit and a gate/drain bias control circuit. The transmit/receive (T/R) circuit may be configured to transmit and receive radio frequency (RF) signals. The gate/drain bias control circuit may be configured to enable or disable internal gate switching of one or more amplifiers of the transmit/receive (T/R) circuit in response to a first control signal. When the internal gate switching is disabled the one or more amplifiers of the transmit/receive (T/R) circuit are enabled and disabled solely by external drain switching.

Abstract: A surface acoustic wave (SAW) filter that receives an aggregate circuit and outputs two or more sub-signals on outputs each of a different frequency band. The sub-signals are amplified by low noise amplifiers and, in one implementation, the amplified sub-signals can be summed. The outputs are connected via a switched passive network so that portions of the sub-signals on the outputs that are not in the selected frequency band are at least partially terminated.
Abstract: Techniques for dynamic network optimization using geolocation and network modeling are disclosed. In one particular exemplary embodiment, the techniques may be realized as a system for network optimization. The system may comprise a data collection system configured to collect geolocated subscriber records from a plurality of mobile devices. The system may also comprise a SON optimization system communicatively coupled to the data collection system via a network. The SON optimization system may comprise at least one pre-processor configured to receive and process geolocated subscriber records from the data collection system. The SON optimization system may further comprise a network simulator configured to perform network simulation analysis based on the processed geolocated subscriber records, and provide a new network configuration based on the network simulation analysis, wherein the new network configuration is estimated to improve network performance.

Abstract: A waste toner storing container includes a container main body, a conveyance guide portion, a conveyance portion, a conversion portion, a moving member, and a restriction member. The container main body stores waste toner. The conveyance guide portion has an inclined guide surface that guides the waste toner diagonally downward from a reception port. The conveyance portion is rotatably provided in the inside of the container main body. The conversion portion converts a rotational motion of the rotation shaft to a reciprocating motion in conjunction. The moving member reciprocally moves in a direction along the inclined guide surface by a force of the reciprocating motion received from the conversion portion. The restriction member restricts the moving member from being displaced upward from the inclined guide surface by pressing the moving member toward the inclined guide surface.

The printed or deposited film can be treated to convert the molecular precursor compounds to a material.
Abstract: A touch-sensor structure includes a substrate having a plurality of grooves formed thereon. A plurality of first axial electrode strips are disposed in the grooves individually. A plurality of second axial electrode strips are disposed on the substrate and intersect with the first axial electrode strips. An insulating layer fills in the grooves and is disposed at the intersections of the first and second axial electrode strips. Furthermore, the manufacturing method of the touch-sensor structure is provided. The insulating layer is disposed in the grooves of the substrate without a protuberant height on the substrate. Therefore, it can overcome a breakage issue in conventional conductive bridges.
Abstract: An image forming apparatus that realizes one or more functions based on a device by using an installed application includes a plurality of devices, a controller, a set of APIs, and an application platform. The plurality of devices includes a printing device. The controller executes a plurality of actual processes that control the plurality of devices. The set of APIs call the plurality of actual processes. The application platform provides each API from the set of APIs to the application. The controller further includes a support determination unit that determines, for an API from the set of APIs, whether the API is supported by the image forming apparatus based on the information for support determination of the API.
Abstract: The various embodiments of the invention provide software and metadata structures for a data processing system and method, for applications such as marketing campaign management, speech recognition and signal processing. An exemplary system embodiment includes a first data repository adapted to store a plurality of entity and attribute data; a second data repository adapted to store a plurality of entity linkage data; a metadata data repository adapted to store a plurality of metadata modules, with a first metadata module having a plurality of selectable parameters, received through a control interface, and having a plurality of metadata linkages to a first subset of metadata modules; and a multidimensional data structure.
