Abstract: An absorption tower for production of nitric acid by the Ostwald process may include sieve trays that are arranged on top of one another and each spaced apart from one another, a water inlet in an upper region of the absorption tower, an inlet for gaseous nitrogen oxides in a lower region of the absorption tower, and a column bottom that is disposed in the lower region of the absorption tower beneath a lowermost sieve tray and is divided by a dividing wall into a first, radially inner region and at least a second, radially outer region. Nitric acid that trickles down from the lowermost sieve tray with a higher concentration can be collected in a middle region. The less-concentrated nitric acid that then effluxes from sieve trays higher up can then be collected separately in a region farther outward.

A disconnect detecting device includes a detecting piece and a moving piece that are arranged in the emergency breakaway coupling. The disconnect detecting device detects the disconnect of the emergency breakaway coupling due to the movement of the moving piece from the detecting piece. The detecting piece and the moving piece are arranged in the emergency breakaway coupling such that a moving direction O2-O2 of the moving piece moving from the detecting piece is in parallel with a disconnecting direction O1-O1 of the first coupler disconnecting from the second coupler.

Abstract: A disposable, sterile guide constructed of medically-acceptable plastic used for compartmentalizing and therefore protecting the ligament or fascia during three different orthopedic surgical procedures: ECTR, ECuTR, and EPFR. This device reduces the risk of damage to any other part of the surrounding anatomy. The device is disposable and packaged so as to be sterile and therefore readily usable by the surgeon means that it can reduce the risk of infection and is a less expensive alternative to traditional non-disposable, metal instruments that must be sterilized prior to each procedure.

Abstract: A color printing system includes a printing device and other components that use color printing resources, such as calibration and ICC profiles, to complete color printing operations. These color printing resources are used for a large number of paper types stored in a paper catalog. The paper types can be further placed into paper groups within the paper catalog. The paper groups may be formed by assigning new papers into the paper catalog to those having paper types with existing calibration data and ICC profiles. These relationships are shown in a paper catalog map. The print shop can use the paper catalog map for selling paper types, providing different capabilities for paper types, and other information.

The turbidity sensing module includes a light transmitting unit and a light receiving unit that are located on opposite sides of the first cavity to allow light emitted from the light transmitting unit to pass through the first cavity and to be received by the light receiving unit.

For example, routines can be built for an organization and made available to voice interactive devices distributed by or on behalf of the organization. Administrators can select features for the device and pre-configure voice assistance devices with groups of pre-selected routines to deliver a device that is ready to go out of the box. Updates to a device or routines can be based on such groups. Additionally, primary routine instances can be linked to groups where changes to the primary instance are propagated to any linked users.
