  • Patent number: 11501121
Abstract: A method for automatically classifying emission tomographic images includes receiving original images and a plurality of class labels designating each original image as belonging to one of a plurality of possible classifications and utilizing a data generator to create generated images based on the original images. The data generator shuffles the original images. The number of generated images is greater than the number of original images. One or more geometric transformations are performed on the generated images. A binomial sub-sampling operation is applied to the transformed images to yield a plurality of sub-sampled images for each original image. A multi-layer convolutional neural network (CNN) is trained using the sub-sampled images and the class labels to classify input images as corresponding to one of the possible classifications. A plurality of weights corresponding to the trained CNN are identified and those weights are used to create a deployable version of the CNN.

  • Patent number: 11501007
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure leverage distributed ledger technologies to exert user-centric control over data shared with third party service providers. User access provider (UAP) devices manage user-configured permissions and metadata that control access to user data by the third party service providers. Permissions may enable service providers to access, write, and share user data with other service providers having appropriate permissions. Users may provide data to various service providers as they interact with services supported by the platform and as the data is received it may be validated and then stored on the distributed ledger. Data may be periodically synchronized across different service provider nodes responsible for maintaining the distributed ledger to ensure consistency with respect to each user's data.

  • Patent number: 11500062
Abstract: Techniques of deriving audio signals using frequency modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) LIDAR use an acceleration-based algorithm in which an audio signal is based on a difference in velocity between two up-chirps or two-down-chirps. Such an acceleration-based algorithm takes less computation, results in fast processing, boosts the high frequency component of the audio signals which the velocity-based algorithm lacks, and improves the subjective intelligibility. For example, in the acceleration-based algorithm, the DC components may be safely ignored in many cases. In such cases, the system does not require a band-pass filter as in the conventional systems, thus reducing computational burden. Moreover, the acceleration-based algorithm emphasizes high frequencies that form a more realistic depiction of human speech.

  • Patent number: 11503166
Abstract: A print process control system includes a plurality of printing devices and an order management system to manage print jobs to the printing devices. Each printing device has an achievable quality level corresponding to its ability to meet color printing requirements. Job data for a print job is parsed to identify spot colors related to colors to be reproduced at the printing device. The printing device receives a test chart with color patches for the spot colors. Measurement data is captured from the color patches of the test chart. Using the measurement data, the order management system confirms whether the printing device can reproduce the spot colors according to a required level of tolerance or quality level.
