  • Patent number: 12180801
Abstract: There is disclosed a method for treating an isolated hydrocarbon interval feedable through a production tubing inside a well bore and forming an annulus therebetween. A perforated cylindrical tool having an expandable annular seal may attach to the production tubing and house a slidable element positionally responsive to an injection velocity of a well fluid. The tool may be lowered to a sealing depth for bracketing the hydrocarbon interval. Injection of the well fluid may drag a narrowing bore of the slidable element downward for expanding the annular seal against the well bore. The well fluid may also be directed from the element bore to the annulus by aligning an element flow port with a corresponding tool passage, a downstream or an upstream flow being selectable by an injection velocity for slidably aligning the corresponding flow ports having different axial locations.

  • Patent number: 12182991
Abstract: An anomaly detecting unit detects an anomaly object in a target image. A characteristic amount watching unit watches at least two basic characteristic amounts of the anomaly object, determines whether values of the basic characteristic amounts satisfy a predetermined watching determination condition of any one of predetermined plural anomaly types or not, if it is determined that the values of the basic characteristic amounts satisfy the watching determination condition, determines as an auxiliary characteristic amount for the anomaly object a characteristic amount corresponding to the anomaly type of which the values of the basic characteristic amounts satisfy the watching determination condition, and starts watching a value of the auxiliary characteristic amount. An anomaly type determining unit determines an anomaly type of the anomaly object on the basis of the basic characteristic amounts and the auxiliary characteristic amount currently watched by the characteristic amount watching unit.

  • Patent number: 12184491
Abstract: According to an update procedure for a network of interconnected nodes, a node keeps track of markers received on the node's incoming channels, transmits a marker on each outgoing channel (if any exist), and updates its node configuration from an old configuration to a new configuration. In one version of the update procedure, the node updates its configuration and transmits markers after receiving its initial incoming marker. In another version for acyclic networks, the node updates its configuration and transmits markers after receiving its final incoming marker. The node determines how to handle (i.e., process, queue, or drop) each incoming data packet based on (i) whether or not it has updated its node configuration yet and (ii) whether or not it has received a marker on the corresponding incoming channel yet. A controller initiates the update process at a subset of nodes that ensures eventual completion of the update process.
