Abstract: Process for the manufacture of 1,2-dichloroethane (DCE) starting from a stream of ethane which is subjected to a catalytic oxydehydrogenation (ODH) producing a gas mixture containing ethylene then dried and subjected to an absorption to be separated into a fraction enriched with the compounds that are lighter than ethylene containing some of the ethylene conveyed to a chlorination reactor R1 in which most of the ethylene is converted into DCE, and into a fraction F1 which is subjected to a desorption D1 to be separated into an ethylene fraction depleted of the compounds that are lighter than ethylene conveyed to a chlorination reactor R2, the stream of products derived from this reactor being added to the dry gas mixture, and into a fraction F2. Fraction F2 is then subjected to a desorption D2 to be separated into a fraction enriched with ethylene conveyed to an oxychlorination reactor in which most of the ethylene is converted into DCE, and into a fraction F3 which is recycled to the absorption.

Abstract: A die for producing wide, flat, plastic-based structures including a base and a cover. The die includes a plurality of ducts for feeding molten plastic, opening into a distribution channel, and a longitudinal outflow slot for outputting the molten plastic in a form of a substantially flat structure. The distribution channel and the outflow slot communicate via a plurality of distributors of generally triangular section having a downstream apex, near to which a feed duct emerges, and two upstream apexes forming intersections of the distribution channel and of the outflow slot, each feed duct being fed with molten plastic via an upstream orifice of the die that is specific thereto.

Abstract: This invention pertains to light emitting materials comprising novel ortho-metalated transition metal complexes [C?N]2M(T)(L), comprising chelate dialkylamino-substituted C?N ligands, monodentate neutral ligand (L) having sp2 hybridized N atom and a monodentate anionic ligand (T) chosen among CN?, CNO?, CNS?. It has been surprisingly found that when the metal has bound thereto in addition to substituted orthometalated ligands, both an anion chosen among cyanide, thiocyanate, cyanate, possessing strong C donor and ? acceptor properties, and a monodentate neutral ligand L, as above defined, said ligands advantageously participate in the emission process, significantly shifting emission towards higher energies (blue-shift) and enabling appreciable improvement of the emission efficiency of complexes [C?N]2M(T)(L). Still objects of the invention are the use of said light emitting materials and organic light emitting device comprising said light emitting material.
