  • Patent number: 11887281
Abstract: A vibration generation device 112 is provided in a head-mounted display, and as a result of processing by a content processing unit 72, a vibration controlling unit 80 causes the vibration generation device 112 to vibrate so as to correspond to display contents. A drawing unit 86 of a display image generation unit 74 acquires a measurement value of a motion sensor 64 from a measurement value acquisition unit 82 and draws an image in a field of view corresponding to the position and the posture of the user head. During a period during which the vibration generation device 112 vibrates, a vibration correction unit 88 corrects the measurement value in response to the vibration.

  • Patent number: 11883748
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for fractionalizing non-fungible token (NFT) shares for digital game assets. The method includes generating a digital asset depicting a gaming event associated with a game. The method includes obtaining a non-fungible token (NFT) for the digital asset. The NFT is stored in a block chain with a reference to a storage location of said digital asset. The obtaining of the NFT includes instructions or parameters for fractionalizing said NFT. The fractionalizing of the NFT creates a set of shares of the NFT. The method includes assigning a share the NFT to a user of the online gaming system. The share is exchangeable among a community of users. The method includes tracking use of each of the set of shares of the NFT and applying a value indicator to each share by the online gaming system.

  • Publication number: 20240024772
Abstract: Pieces of game data are stored in a game data storage section in the process of game processing. A game server then transmits, among them, game parameters such as scores and positions of characters and data such as the three-dimensional structure of a virtual world to a live image display support apparatus. The live image display support apparatus performs prioritization and clustering by using the game parameters and generates control information such as the state of a virtual camera on the basis of a normal and the like of the ground in the virtual world.

  • Publication number: 20240024769
Abstract: Disclosed are an entertainment device, a method and a computer program. The entertainment device includes receiver circuitry and processing circuitry. The receiver circuitry receives, from a controller, input actuation information and associated motion detection information, where the input actuation information is indicative of detected actuation of at least one manual actuation input of the controller and the associated motion detection information is indicative of detected motion of the controller. The processing circuitry processes a game state of a game and, in at least a first mode of operation, selects, from amongst a plurality of interpretations, an interpretation of the input actuation information in dependence on the associated motion detection information and updates the processing of the game state in dependence on the selected interpretation of the input actuation information.

  • Publication number: 20240029396
Abstract: A frame storage section stores captured images of a predetermined number of frames depicting a region including the skin of a user. A pixel value acquisition section divides the captured images into a plurality of blocks and acquires the pixel values in each block. A pixel exclusion section narrows down target pixels in each block by excluding pixels that have a green value equal to or smaller than a predetermined threshold in a case where pixel colors of each block are represented by RGB. A brightness change compensation section compensates for brightness changes by dividing the average of green values by the average of red or blue values in a case where the colors of the target pixels in each block are represented by RGB. A pulse detection section detects a pulse from temporal changes in target pixel values in each block.

  • Patent number: 11882188
Abstract: Methods and system include receiving frames of data generated for an online game, from a server device and encoding the frames using an encoder. Each encoded frame of data is transmitted to a client device over a network, for rendering. A monitoring engine is used to evaluate the data contained in the encoded frame to determine if an amount of data contained in the encoded frame exceeds a maximum data limit specified for a communication channel established between the server device and the client device. When the amount of data contained in the encoded frame exceeds the maximum data limit, a signal is sent to the encoder to dynamically reduce amount of data included in one or more subsequent frames forwarded to the client device for rendering. The adjusting is performed to maintain a frame rate defined for the online game.
