The method and system involves receiving a request from a user device to establish the emulation session; establishing an electronic communication link between the user device and an emulation server for providing the emulation session to the user device; operating at least one server processor, the at least one server processor being in electronic communication with the user device and the emulation server and being separate from the user device processor, to determine emulation session data based on the received request and by monitoring the emulation session; to determine a plurality of emulation session parameters based on the received request; to determine a session action to be applied to the emulation session based on the plurality of emulation session parameters and the emulation session data; and to control the emulation session based on the session action.

Abstract: This invention relates to methods and systems for providing chemical and/or biological materials. Thus we describe a method of providing a chemical or biological material in a quantised form, the method comprising: preparing an emulsion comprising a plurality of microdroplets each holding a controlled amount of said material; storing said chemical or biological material in said microdroplets in said emulsion; transferring a portion of said emulsion microdroplets to a container for transportation; transporting said container to a user of said material, wherein said user receives said material in a quantised form in said microdroplets of said emulsion; and de-emulsifying said received microdroplets containing said material in quantised form to extract said material for subsequent use.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method of positioning a set of objects for display on a user interface, the user interface being generated on a surface of a three-dimensional structure, each member of the set of the objects having a size in at least two dimensions, at least some of which dimensions vary between the objects, is provided. The method includes assigning the set of objects to a two-dimensional portion having a predetermined size, for each as yet unpositioned object in the set of objects, performing a positioning process, the positioning process comprising identifying object occupancy in the portion and allocating the object to a position within the portion on the basis of a largest dimension of the object and unoccupied space in the portion, and mapping the allocated positions to a corresponding coordinate on the surface of the three-dimensional structure.

Abstract: A radio frequency (RF) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) coil for increased quanta gathering is described. An apparatus may comprise an RF receiver coil comprising multiple coil windings. Each coil winding may comprise a compressed cylindrical tube having a defined thickness to form a surface to collect a first quanta of emitted energy. Adjacent coil windings may be spaced apart a defined distance to form coil gaps to allow a second quanta of emitted energy to pass through the coil gaps. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

The plasma discharge source may be configured to receive an elemental source, generate plasma based on the elemental source, and generate one or more neutral atoms of the elemental source. The emission system may be configured to emit a hyperthermal beam, comprising the one or more neutral atoms of the elemental source, from the plasma discharge source through an aperture of the plasma discharge source. The magnetic source may be configured to provide a magnetic field and to collimate the hyperthermal beam in a first direction and control a size of the hyperthermal beam.

It has the capability of recursiveness and feedback, and with the capacity to self-modify its operators, as well as having the capability to follow externally set rules, as contained in an axiom set, for example, or as custom imposed by a user. Operator system is set up in the context of basic axioms of a particular field of application, which direct to an extent what the operators do. A preferred embodiment extensively dealt with shows its application as a decision aid over the field of patents and technical literature, helping to organize in a productive manner a mass of data, with useful scores and indices as output.

Abstract: This invention relates to a sensor and in particular to a sensor for the detection of biologically important species. Specifically, the invention provides a method for detecting an analyte in the presence of at least one interferent in a sample. The method comprises the steps of providing a sensor having a transducer and a receptor layer in communication with the transducer, in which the receptor layer comprises a material for absorbing the analyte; exposing the receptor layer to the sample; treating the receptor layer to remove selectively the at least one interferent; and measuring the signal from the transducer. The treatment step is performed by applying a change in potential, a change in pH or a change in temperature to the receptor layer, by washing the receptor layer, by irradiating the receptor layer, or a combination thereof.

Abstract: This invention relates to a sensor for detecting an analyte in the presence of at least one interferent in a fluid sample. The sensor comprises a substrate, a channel disposed on the substrate, at least one transducer disposed in the channel, and a filter for selectively absorbing the analyte in preference to the at least one interferent. The filter is arranged in the channel remotely from the at least one transducer and the channel defines a flow path for the fluid sample such that the fluid sample contacts a first transducer to generate a first signal, followed by the filter, followed by the first transducer or a second transducer to generate a second signal.

The frame has a plurality of cavities for collecting the honey. The frame has separation structures between the cavities to facilitate separation of the cavities from the frame. In another embodiment, the frame has opposing sides and a plurality of outwardly facing cavities in each of the sides for collecting the honey. In another embodiment, the frame comprises first and second frame halves on opposing sides of the frame. Each of the frame halves includes a backside that is enclosed by the frame to keep bees away from the backside.

Abstract: Methods are described for the production of neurons or neuronal progenitor cells. Multipotent neural stem cells are proliferated in the presence of growth factors and erythropoietin which induces the generation of neuronal progenitor cells. The erythropoietin may be exogenously applied to the multipotent neural stem cells, or alternatively, the cells can be subjected to hypoxic insult which induces the cells to express erythropoietin.
