  • Patent number: 9191240
Abstract: The present subject matter discloses a system and a method for processing of channel coefficients of networks. In one embodiment, the method includes ascertaining at least one probable synchronization position of a received sequence and projecting, by oblique projection, at least one given noise basis vector spanning a given noise space onto the null space, so as to determine a channel impulse response at the at least one probable synchronization position. Based on a criterion related to the channel impulse response, a synchronization point for the received sequence is identified from the at least one probable synchronization position. The method also includes determining the noise contribution at the synchronization point and determining the noise coefficient of the at least one given noise basis vector based on the noise contribution so as to recover a signal substantially similar to the originally transmitted signal.

  • Patent number: 9182770
Abstract: A voltage regulator includes a current bridge and first and second current paths coupling a current mirror to respective first and second voltage-to-current converters. The current mirror controls a second current dependent on a first current. The first voltage-to-current converter controls the first current dependent on either a reference voltage or a feedback voltage derived from the regulator's output voltage, and the second voltage-to-current converter controls the second current dependent on the other of the feedback and reference voltages. Voltage-to-current conversion by the first converter is independent of voltage-to-current conversion by the second converter. • Patent number: 9183128
Abstract: The invention provides a method for controlling writing of data to a data storage card having a device controller and a storage medium. Particularly, the device controller receives a meta data synchronization disable command and in response, enters a first mode. In the first mode, the device controller does not synchronize meta data related to a data write request to write the data to the storage medium, leaving corresponding unsynchronized meta data. The device controller receives a data write request to write the data, and in response, effects the data write request such that the data is written to the storage medium. However, the meta data related to the data write request is not synchronized to the storage medium. Other aspects provide a corresponding device controller and software/firmware.
