Abstract: An actuating device includes a base part and a part which can be moved and is coupled to the base part in a manner such that it can pivot about a pivot axis. A driving device has a cable which can be wound up on a cable drum to drive the movement of the part which can be moved. The driving device has a pull/push rod which is coupled by its one end to the part which can be moved at a distance from the pivot axis and is guided movably by its second end along a guide path, which extends approximately at right angles to the pivot axis, on the base part. In this case, the second end of the pull/push rod can be pulled by a first cable to a first end of the guide path and by a second cable to a second end of the guide path.

  • Publication number: 20040144605
Abstract: A piston, which has a piston rod, is guided with freedom of axial movement in a cylindrical pressure tube. At one end of the pressure tube, the piston rod passes through an opening in an end wall, which closes off the end of the pressure tube. The pressure tube is surrounded by a heat-shrink sleeve, which, at the exit end of the piston rod, extends more-or-less radially inward and has a pass-through opening through which the piston rod extends. The ring-shaped end surface at the piston rod exit end of the pressure tube is enclosed by the heat-shrink sleeve.

  • Patent number: 6600285
Abstract: An actuating system includes a driving device fixed to a base part and operatively connected to a movable part. A sensor detects the rotational speed of the movable part at a reference measuring location, and a control system forms a differential of the rotational speed with respect to the time. The formed differential is compared in a comparison unit with a stored differential value which corresponds to a measuring point on a route of movement of the movable part. An obstacle is recognized when there is a difference above a threshold value between the formed differential and the associated stored value.
