Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to systems and methods for generating data representative of an individual's insurance risk based on actual driving behaviors and driving environment. The systems and methods may include collecting data from personal electronic device sensors, vehicle sensors, driver inputs, environment sensors and interactions of the vehicle, the driver and the environment. The systems and methods may further include analyzing the data to generate data representative of an individual insurance risk. The systems and methods may further include presenting the data representative of the individual insurance risk to an individual.

Abstract: A computer-implement method and computer system may be configured to facilitate insurance claim processing and estate handling. An audible or visible chatbot avator or dopplegänger may lead a trustee, beneficiary, or family member through the estate of an impaired or deceased user. A computer system may have been provided with, or gather, sample voice and visual recordings associated with a user that are used to build the chatbot avatar that simulates the user audibly and/or visually. The computer system may have previously prompted the user for necessary items to properly handle their estate, such as information related to financial accounts, loans, insurance policies, etc. and user names and passwords to various electronic accounts.

Abstract: A trusted data bank organizes and manages access to streams of personal data owned by users with their permission. The data bank accepts incoming streams of personal data from users (such as financial, utility account, medical, insurance, activity, hobby, life style, consumer preferences, commercial transactions, telematics or smart home data, etc.), and applies user-defined privacy directives. The data bank receives personal data stream criteria and offers for goods, services, discounts, or incentives from personal data consumers (end users). The data bank may compare available streams of personal data and associated privacy directives for potential matches with criteria specified by consumers of personal data, and display offers to qualifying owners of personal data streams. If the owner accepts the offer, the data bank facilitates supplying the personal data stream to the consumer of personal data, and retains the ability to discontinue access to the stream at the owner's request.

Abstract: In one aspect, a system for receiving communications while a user operates a motor vehicle is provided. The system may include (1) a BLUETOOTH interface configured to establish a connection to a BLUETOOTH device associated with the motor vehicle, (2) a wireless communication interface configured to receive a wireless communication from a remote device, and (3) a processor coupled to the wireless communication interface and the BLUETOOTH interface, and configured to: (a) determine the user is operating the motor vehicle based upon the connection to the BLUETOOTH device, and (b) suppress a notification of the user of receipt of the wireless communication while the user is operating the motor vehicle.

Abstract: A system for generating and managing usage-based contracts using blockchains configured to (i) store an insurance contract for a currently occurring or upcoming trip, where the insurance contract is to insure the driver, passenger, and/or vehicle during the trip, where the insurance contract includes terms, conditions, or other clauses (e.g., mileage limitations, limitations on autonomous vehicle operation, etc.) and is in a blockchain structure, and where several nodes store copies of the insurance contract in the blockchain structure; (ii) receive, from the driver and/or (autonomous) vehicle, a requested modification of one or more terms, conditions, or other clauses of the insurance contract, (iii) transmit the requested modification to an insurance auction network, (iv) receive a response to the request from the insurance auction network; and (v) store the response in a new block in the insurance contract (e.g., a smart contract) to facilitate providing trip insurance in a transparent manner.

Abstract: A method of generating generic protocol handlers includes receiving a user request in a middleware, generating a request payload by analyzing the request in a protocol handler of the middleware, transforming the request payload into a set of canonical types, transmitting the set of canonical types to a path module, receiving a response payload, transforming the response payload in a second protocol handler of the middleware, and transmitting the response to the user.

Abstract: In a network of autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicles, an alert may be triggered when one of the vehicles switches from autonomous to manual mode. The alert may be communicated to nearby autonomous vehicles so that drivers of those vehicles may become aware of a potentially unpredictable manual driver nearby. Drivers of autonomous vehicles who may have become disengaged (e.g., sleeping, reading, talking, etc.) during autonomous driving may become re-engaged upon noticing the alert. A re-engaged driver may choose to switch his/her own vehicle from autonomous to manual mode in order to appropriately react to an unpredictable nearby manual driver. In additional or alternative embodiments, the alert may be triggered or intensified when indications of impairment of a nearby driver or malfunction of a nearby vehicle are detected.

Abstract: A method and system for associating information regarding an object with image objects is disclosed, wherein each image object is a visual data containers including an image associated with the object and data items relating to the object. A user may interact with a graphical user interface to create, modify, and associate image objects by means of the associated images. Information regarding the objects may be associated therewith by means of the image objects, and image objects may be associated with other image objects to generate associations between information regarding the underlying objects. Information regarding other image objects or the associated image may be used to determine information regarding the object, which may be associated with the image object. In some embodiments, associating two or more image objects may associate the underlying objects for purposes of insurance policies or may generate a new insurance policy based on the image objects.

Abstract: This technology relates to providing a web-based digital claims platform to provide users with a simple and customized experience when filing insurance claims. The platform is enabled by a plurality of back-end application programming interface (API) resources. These API resources are event-driven (e.g., when an “event” associated with the claim occurs, the status of the claim changes and the API is provided with updated information indicative of the change). The platform includes a customized user interface (UI) that tailors the claim experience to a particular user's needs. The customization can be based off of stated user preferences and/or learned user preferences associated with the user's past behavior. A user can perform/request various services through the customized UI's self-service function (e.g., rent a car, find a hotel room, select a repair shop, etc.). Additionally, the customized UI can enable the user upload documents, track claim status, find relevant help topics, etc.

Abstract: Provided herein is an engagement and care support platform (“ECSP”) computer system including at least one processor in communication with at least one memory device for facilitating senior user engagement. The processor is programmed to: (i) register a user through an application, (ii) register a caregiver associated with the user through the application, (iii) generate a senior profile based upon user personal and scheduling data, (iv) build a daily interactive user interface that reflects the senior profile, (v) display the daily interactive user interface at a first client device associated with the user, (vi) cause the first client device to initiate a daily interaction prompt to the user, (vii) determine whether any user interaction was received in response to the daily interaction prompt, and (viii) transmit a daily update message to a second client device associated with the caregiver, including an indication of whether any user interaction was received.

An example computer-implemented method, executed by a processor, to process an insurance claim using artificial intelligence includes interacting, with the processor, electronically with at least one of an insured person, a representative of the insured person, or a representative of an insured entity to obtain information related to an insurance claim, processing, with the processor, the information with a machine learning engine to identify an action to be taken for the insurance, and performing, with the processor, the action using a backend processing module that is also used by a person to process an insurance claim.

Abstract: Systems and methods relating to improving the experience of gig-economy workers are disclosed, with particular reference to gig-economy work involving vehicle use. During or after performance of gig-economy work, data automatically collected may be used to generate and present recommendations or education points to gig-economy workers. Such recommendations may include targeted alerts to notify gig-economy workers of high-demand situations or to coordinate between gig-economy workers and gig-economy customers. Alerts may be generated based upon current excess demand for gig-economy services, as well as gig-economy worker availability and preferences. For example, alerts may be generated in response to detecting emergency conditions in an area in order to mobilize a large number of gig-economy transportation service providers.

Abstract: A system for collecting vehicle crash data at a vehicle crash site of a vehicle crash is provided. The system may include an emergency response unit that includes an emergency response vehicle and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that is automatically deployed from the emergency response vehicle at the vehicle crash site. The UAV may be an autonomous or semi-autonomous drone, and include a processor, memory, and sensor, wherein the sensor collects vehicle crash data (such as image, video, or audio) at the crash site. The system may include a remote computing device and an insurance computing device to process the vehicle crash data collected by the UAV and/or initiate a crash insurance claim. The vehicle crash data may be used for one or more insurance-related purposes or activities, such as handling, adjusting, or generating auto or homeowners insurance claims; crash reconstruction; fault determination; damaged vehicle repair; and/or buildup identification.

Abstract: An incident management system for managing an incident response may be provided. The incident management system may include an incident management (IM) computing device and a vehicle. The IM computing device may include a processor and memory, the processor may be programmed to receive a notification that an incident has occurred, the notification including sensor data and sub-system data. The processor may analyze the data to determine an incident response, the determination including categorizing the incident based on damage determined from the data. The processor may also identify a responding party based on the incident response and the category of the incident. The processor may further parse the data to generate a set of critical data. The critical data may be based on the responding party. The processor may transmit a message to the responding party including the critical data and the location of the vehicle.

Abstract: A method for identifying a primary vehicle associated with a user of a mobile device includes receiving an indication of a vehicle entry event from a mobile device and retrieving sensor data from the mobile device. The method further includes receiving an indication of a vehicle exit event from the mobile device, generating a trip log including portions of the sensor data, and storing the trip log in a trip database. A server, or other suitable computing device, then analyzes the trip log and a plurality of previously stored trip logs in the trip database to determine a primary vehicle corresponding to the user of the mobile device. The method may allow a computing device to assign gathered mobile device data to a specific household vehicle.

Abstract: A system for data security includes a processor and a computer-readable storage medium having instructions stored thereon that cause the processor to perform operations including: (i) logging data access events initiated by a user; (ii) generating a user profile of the user, the user profile including a size and a type of data accessed by each data access event; (iii) receiving a new data access event initiated by the user including a size and a type of data requested by the new data access event; (iv) comparing the size and the type of the requested data of the new data access event to the user profile; (v) determining that the new data access event initiated by the user does not correspond to the data included in the user profile; (vi) restricting the requested data associated with the new data access event; and (vii) transmitting the restricted data to the user.

Abstract: A property analyzer device may include (1) a receiver configured to receive property identification information from a mobile device, the received property identification information including a picture of the property and/or a property location; (2) a retriever configured to retrieve property-related information from multiple property sources (such as public record databases, websites, or an internal company database) based upon the received property identification information; (3) a processor configured to consolidate the retrieved property-related information into a consolidated property-related image of the property; and (4) a transmitter configured to transmit the consolidated property-related image to the mobile device for review by a user.

Abstract: A software project management system can store object data about components of a software development project, such epics, features, and stories. The software project management system can also store dependency objects that reflect dependency relationships between two or more components of the software development project. The dependency objects can track status information about the dependency relationships, including expected completion dates, acceptance criteria, and state indicators. The information stored in the dependency objects can be updated over time as information about the dependency relationship changes. The software project management system can also use the dependency objects to display information in a user interface about one or more dependency relationships, such as to indicate which dependency relationships are on track or behind schedule.

Abstract: Methods and system for guiding user data capture during a scan of a vehicle using a mobile device are disclosed. A user may scan a vehicle using a camera or other sensors of the mobile device to capture data from which a three-dimensional virtual model may be generated. During the scanning process, models may be generated and evaluated according to quality metrics. Visual cues may be determined and presented to the user during scanning to indicate areas sufficiently scanned or areas requiring additional scanning to meet data quality requirements for model generation. Damage to vehicle components may be identified by analysis of the generated model, and addition data capture or user annotation entry may be directed based upon the identified damage.
