Abstract: Aspects of distributed ledger technology are leveraged to verify subrogation settlements. In particular, two parties to a subrogation claim provide cryptographic hashes to a subrogation demand smart contract stored at an address on a blockchain. The subrogation demand smart contract determines that the parties have reached an agreement by determining that the cryptographic hashes match. A settlement amount from the subrogation claim may be appended to a set of settlement amounts to determine a net settlement amount to facilitate a single payment between the parties on a periodic basis, such as daily, to alleviate the need for the parties to send or receive a payment for each individual settlement amount.

Abstract: A damage assessment (DA) computing device for determining building damage may be provided. The DA computing device may train a machine learning damage model using historical damage data, identify a plurality of buildings that are susceptible to potential damage from an upcoming weather event, the plurality of buildings including the building, input data associated with a roof of the building to the trained damage model, receive a model output from the trained damage model, the model output including a damage status of the roof representing the predicted extent of damage to the roof, when the predicted extent of damage to the roof exceeds a threshold, automatically generate a claim initiation message including a link that, upon selection thereof, causes initiation an insurance claim for the roof based upon the model output and the parameters associated with the building, and/or transmit the claim initiation message to a user.

Abstract: Provided herein is a digital care circle platform for electronic communication between a senior and virtual care circle members. The digital care circle platform may include a chatbot and an application associated with the senior, a mobile application associated with the plurality of virtual care circle members, at least one processor in communication with at least one memory device, and one or more servers, sensors, wearables, and transceivers. The at least one processor may be configured to: (i) accept event posts from the senior via the chatbot and application and from each virtual care circle member of the plurality of virtual care circle members via the mobile application, (ii) detect pro-active check-ins from the senior, and (iii) generate, once a pro-active check-in is detected, an electronic communication detailing the pro-active check-in as a pro-active check-in event, and transmit the pro-active check-in event to the virtual care circle members.

Abstract: Methods and systems for managing and/or processing a blockchain to maintain data security for confidential and/or personal data are provided. According to certain aspects, the disclosed data security techniques may enable access sharing functionality utilizing the blockchain. For example, access sharing may be utilized to file documents, share policy information, and/or comply with an audit. The data security techniques disclosed herein also enable the use of smart contracts to transfer funds associated with payment obligations and/or other forms of blockchain based payments, comply with anti-money laundering requirements, report industry data, validate interest payments and/or maintain agent sales data. Data security may be achieved through the use of public key/private key encryption techniques.

Abstract: During a communication session with a caller, a representative can enter information into a claim loss reporting tool to generate a loss report associated with an insurance claim. A dialogue advisor can cause the claim loss reporting tool to suggest questions that the representative should ask, and/or actions the representative should take, during the communication session. The dialogue advisor can make such suggestions, during the communication session, based at least in part on confidence levels of simulated destination predictions that correspond with destination predictions a claim router would make according to the same information associated with the loss report.

The system and method include a) storing, in one or more storage devices, a plurality of transmission rules for transmitting messages, b) receiving a message to be transmitted to a participant, c) comparing the message to the plurality of transmission rules, d) determining a first channel to transmit the message to a computer device associated with the participant based on the comparison, e) converting the message into a first message for transmission on the first channel, and f) transmitting the first message over the first channel.

In various aspects, the blockchain-based validation system includes: a server communicatively coupled to a blockchain-based network; and program instructions stored in a program memory that, when executed by the server, cause the server to: receive a blockchain ID associated with a user, wherein the blockchain ID is associated with a blockchain; aggregate a plurality of blockchain transactions, the plurality of blockchain transactions including at least a blockchain transaction associated with the blockchain; establish, based on the plurality of blockchain transactions, a trust relationship between the user and a second entity; and generate a trust profile for the user and the second entity based on the trust relationship, wherein the trust profile includes a level of trust between the user and the second entity based on the plurality of blockchain transactions.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for generating a blockchain-based user profile. In various aspects, one or more blockchain IDs associated with a user is received, where each blockchain ID is associated with a corresponding blockchain. One or more blockchain transactions are identified that are associated with the one or more blockchain IDs, where a trust profile for the user can be generated based on the one or more blockchain transactions. The trust profile can include user information determined from the one or more blockchain transactions.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein, inter alia, receive telematics data collected over a period of time, wherein the telematics data is indicative of operation of a vehicle by a potential renter during the period of time; identify, upon analyzing the telematics data, driving behavior(s) of the renter during the period of time; determine, for each driving behavior, a corresponding state of an environment of the vehicle when the driving behavior occurred; determine renter eligibility value(s) for the renter based on the driving behavior(s) and the corresponding state of an environment of the vehicle; compare the renter eligibility value(s) to user preference value(s) of a profile of a vehicle owner, wherein the user preference value(s) define one or more criteria for vehicle renters with whom the vehicle can be shared; and cause an indication of the vehicle associated with the profile to be displayed only if the renter satisfies the criteria.

Abstract: Candidate function data can include data for multiple candidate functions that may indicate whether insurance claims are likely to involve certain issues, such as comparative negligence issues. A real-time claim identifier can use the candidate function data to determine, in near real-time, if claim data for a new insurance claim submitted to an insurance company satisfies at least one of the candidate functions. If the claim data satisfies at least one of the candidate functions, the insurance claim can be assigned to a corresponding destination in the insurance company, such as a department that processes comparative negligence claims, for further processing.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes presenting, by a workbench application, a first user interface that includes a notes field in which free-form text may be entered by the user, receiving, by the workbench application, free-form text that the user entered in the notes field, analyzing, by the workbench application, the free-form text to identify relevant keyword(s), and presenting a second user interface for a data reporting application. The method also includes identifying, by the workbench application, one or more data entry fields of the second user interface corresponding to the keyword(s), automatically populating, by the workbench application and via an API, the one or more data entry fields of the second user interface based upon the one or more keywords, and causing, by the workbench application via the API, the linked data reporting application to store data for the one or more data entry fields in a data storage record.

Abstract: A web browser can manage different session cookies associated with a website by storing the session cookies in distinct tab storage locations associated with different tabs of the web browser, instead of in a global storage location accessible by any tab of the web browser. When the web browser prepares to send a request associated with an active tab to a server associated with the website, the web browser can temporarily copy a corresponding session cookie into the global storage location from the tab storage location associated with the active tab. Accordingly, even if the website does not natively support multiple concurrent user sessions with the web browser, the web browser can send different session cookies to the website based on which tab of the web browser is active, and thereby allow users to engage in different user sessions with the website in different tabs.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed with respect to using a blockchain for managing the subrogation claim process related to a vehicle collision, in particular, utilizing evidence oracles as part of the subrogation process. An exemplary embodiment includes receiving recorded data from one or more connected devices at a geographic location; analyzing the recorded data, wherein analyzing the recorded data includes determining that an collision has occurred involving one or more vehicles; generating a transaction including the data indicative of the collision based upon the analysis; and transmitting the transaction to at least one other participant in the distributed ledger network.
