    Abstract: A current measurement circuit, for wireless charging systems, for instance, comprises a differential input configured to have applied an input voltage sensed across a shunt resistor traversed by a current to be measured, a voltage reversal switch arrangement selectively switchable to reverse the polarity of the input voltage as applied between a first and a second voltage sensing nodes as well as a first and a second current flow line between the voltage sensing nodes and ground. A difference resistor intermediate the two current flow lines is traversed by a current which is a function of the input voltage as applied to the first and second sensing nodes via the voltage reversal switch arrangement. First and second current sensing nodes at the two current flow lines are coupled to a differential current output via a current reversal switch arrangement selectively switchable to reverse the output current polarity.

    Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a lead frame design that includes a copper alloy base material coated with an electroplated copper layer, a precious metal, and an adhesion promotion compound. The layers compensate for scratches or surface irregularities in the base material while promoting adhesion from the lead frame to the conductive connectors, and to the encapsulant by coupling them to different layers of a multilayer coating on the lead frame. The first layer of the multilayer coating is a soft electroplated copper to smooth the surface of the base material. The second layer of the multilayer coating is a thin precious metal to facilitate a mechanical coupling between leads of the lead frame and conductive connectors. The third layer of the multilayer coating is the adhesion promotion compound for facilitating a mechanical coupling to an encapsulant around the lead frame.

The sensor also embeds additional information inside a data stream of raw data by repurposing one or more of values of the raw data as an exception code, flag, or another type of notification.     Abstract: A UART communication interface manages transmission/reception at a baud rate using a baud-rate detection circuit. An edge detector detects edges in a reception signal and resets a count value in a digital counter circuit indicating a time between two consecutive edges. In the absence of a detected edge, the digital counter circuit increases the count value. At a newly detected edge, a validation circuit verifies the count value by asserting a second control signal when the count value is smaller than a maximum, and otherwise de-asserting the second control signal. A register provides a threshold signal by storing the count value when the second control signal is asserted. The threshold signal stored by the register is updated when the time is in a permitted range corresponding to the duration of a single bit. The baud rate may be determined as a function of the threshold signal.
