The locations may show the closest locations to the user's seat, the locations with the shortest or fastest lines, locations that have a user's size or favorite color in stock for apparel, and/or locations that provide the user more specific information than just where an incentive can be used.

Abstract: A device and method for generating a dynamic personalized events feed that is personalized for a user is provided. The device may include one or more processors configured to determine events that match filtering information, generate the dynamic personalized events feed based on the determined events, and update the generated dynamic personalized events feed based on the determined events. The device may also include a network interface component coupled to a network, the network interface component configured to receive the filtering information, and transmit the generated dynamic personalized events feed to a user device. The device may further include a memory, the memory storing event information and user information for determining events that match the filtering information.

Abstract: The present disclosure involves a system and method for conducting an electronic purchasing transaction involving media items associated with an event. The system receives, from a user, a request to purchase a plurality of media items associated with an event. The event may be a sporting event or an entertainment event. The media items may be audio or video items shown at the sporting event or the entertainment event. Using one or more electronic processors, the system compiles the plurality of media items into a playlist. The playlist arranges the media items according to a sequence in which they are presented during the event. Thereafter, the system conducts an electronic purchasing transaction in which the playlist containing the media items is sold to the user.

Abstract: A system and methods for third-party access to a network-based system for providing location-based upcoming event information are described. The location-based upcoming event information may be accessed from the network-based system by a server-side web application implemented by a third party. The server-side web application may be configured to communicate with the network-based system that provides online marketplace and ticket fulfillment services and to generate a query based upon the location of a user and other event criteria. The server-side web application may communicate the query to the network-based system and, in response, receive location-based upcoming event information which may be displayed to a user as a list and/or information on a map. The location-based upcoming event information may comprise an aggregate of ticket inventory available from multiple online marketplaces providing the user with multiple purchasing options. Preferences are compared with ticket information such as comments by other users of specific seats and areas, price, location near friends of the user, location near venue establishments, etc. After a ticket is purchased, recommendations of areas outside the venue may be provided to the user. In another embodiment, a user is presented with advantages and/or disadvantages of events outside the original event of interest.

Abstract: A system and methods for a personal seat license (PSL) auction are described. The PSL auction is designed to maximize revenue while providing bidders with a fun and engaging experience. In general, the PSL auction extends over multiple days, and PSLs are auctioned in mixed quantities of small lots so that inventory gets the most exposure. The list end times for the PSL listings are staggered to provide a dynamic online marketplace where PSL listings are closing all of the time. This provides more bidders that bid on multiple lots and more chances for bidders to return if they are unsuccessful on a given day.

A client computer receives, from a network-based system, a base map illustrating locations of sections within the event venue, a coded image map for building a map overlay having a polygon for each section depicted in the base map, and an inventory for an event at the event venue. The inventory provides, for each section, section data that includes available tickets for each section within the event venue. The client computer displays an interactive seat map by loading the base map and building the map overlay on top of the base map so that each polygon of the map overlay aligns with the respective section of the base map. The client computer determines one or more characteristics for each polygon of the map overlay based on the received section data corresponding to each polygon.
