  • Patent number: 11875542
Abstract: A parking assist system for a vehicle includes an environment information obtainer, a sufficient parking space setter, a parked-vehicle inter-space calculator, a parking capable space setter, and a parking assister. The environment information obtainer obtains environment information around the vehicle. The sufficient parking space setter sets a sufficient parking space for the vehicle by including a parking allowance width on each of left and right sides of the vehicle. The parked-vehicle inter-space calculator calculates a space between parked vehicles, based on the obtained environment information. The parking capable space setter compares the space between the parked vehicles with the sufficient parking space and, when determining the space between the parked vehicles is greater than or equal to the sufficient parking space, sets the space between the parked vehicles to be a parking capable space. The parking assister guides the vehicle to the parking capable space.

  • Patent number: 11865886
Abstract: A suspension includes a coil spring, a shock absorber, a spring seat, and at least three strongly pressing parts. The coil spring elastically receives vertical movement of a wheel relative to a vehicle body. The shock absorber damps the vertical movement. The spring seat is provided in the shock absorber. The sprint seat supports an axial end of the coil spring. The coil spring is in direct or indirect contact with the spring seat over a predetermined distance from an end to a point of separation of the coil spring. The strongly pressing parts are provided in the spring seat. The strongly pressing parts apply contact pressures higher than contact pressure applied by other part, to the coil spring. The point of separation is disposed at a region that is between the strongly pressing parts and has the largest opening angle about an axial center of the shock absorber.

  • Patent number: 11858510
Abstract: A vehicle drive assist apparatus includes an external environment recognizer, a traveling environment recognizer, and a processor. The traveling environment recognizer recognizes travel lane sides of dividing lines defining a travel lane as two approximate lines each in a linear form based on the image data on a traveling environment acquired by the external environment recognizer. When a static three-dimensional object has been continuously detected on or near one of dividing lines based on the image data, the processor sets a virtual approximate line by correcting the lateral position of the approximate line of the one of the dividing lines in a direction apart from the static three-dimensional object toward the middle of the travel lane by a predetermined correction amount, and sets a target travel course in the middle between the virtual approximate line and the approximate line of the other of the dividing lines.

Abstract: A charging system includes a charging control unit, a detector, an acquisition unit, a calculation unit, and an estimation unit. The charging control unit controls a charging operation performed from a power feeding system including a power storage device to a storage battery. The detector detects, multiple times, charging electric power supplied to the storage battery. The acquisition unit acquires pieces of charging data each including data indicating a temporal change in the charging electric power supplied from the power feeding system to the storage battery. The calculation unit calculates respective approximate curves of the pieces of charging data. The estimation unit estimates a power feedable time during which the power feeding system is able to feed power, based on the approximate curves calculated based on the pieces of charging data, by using values of the charging electric power detected by the detector.

  • Patent number: 11854279
Abstract: A vehicle exterior environment recognition apparatus includes a monocular distance calculator, a relaxation distance calculator, and an updated distance calculator. The monocular distance calculator calculates a monocular distance of a three-dimensional object from a luminance image generated by an imaging unit. The relaxation distance calculator calculates a relaxation distance of the three-dimensional object from two luminance images generated by two imaging units based on a degree of image matching between the two luminance images determined using a threshold more lenient than another threshold used to determine the degree of image matching to generate a stereo distance of the three-dimensional object. The updated distance calculator calculates an updated distance of the three-dimensional object by mixing the monocular distance and the relaxation distance at a predetermined ratio.

  • Patent number: 11845435
Abstract: A driving assistance device includes a forward recognizer configured to recognize a forward situation of a vehicle, a brake controller configured to perform brake control, and a determiner configured to determine execution of the brake control and drive control based on target data obtained by the forward recognizer and/or from map information. The brake controller performs the brake control to stop the vehicle at a position before a stop line of a road surface, based on a recognition result from the forward recognizer. When the vehicle stops and the forward situation is determined to be safe the determiner slowly drives the vehicle to another position before a crossing road edge where the road on which the vehicle drives intersects with another road. When the vehicle is at the other position and the forward situation is determined to be safe, the determiner slowly drives the vehicle from the other position by a predetermined distance.

Abstract: A vehicle travel locus transmission system to be mounted on a vehicle includes a GNSS receiver, a vehicle-side transceiver, a locator processor, a wheel speed sensor, a gyro sensor, and an acceleration rate sensor. The locator processor generates, on predetermined cycles, a latest first linear coordinate as a linear function parameter that couples latest first positional coordinates and second positional coordinates on a previous cycle. The first and second positional coordinates are to be acquired on the basis of a positioning signal received by the GNSS receiver. On the condition that an angle formed by the first linear coordinate with an extension of a second linear coordinate generated on the previous cycle exceeds a predetermined threshold, the locator processor sends data regarding the first linear coordinate together with vehicle identification data, from the vehicle-side transceiver to an external device.
