  • Patent number: 11032059
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for enhancing security of encrypted messages. One or more bits may be selected in an encrypted message, with the one or more bits being selected such that there is no sequence of consecutive bits in the message, having a length that is greater than or equal to a defined threshold value, that is free of bit errors. An adjustment may be applied to the encrypted message prior to transmitting the message to introduce bit errors in the message, with the adjustment being configured to affect the one or more selected bits. The adjustment may include inverting the one or more selected bits. The one or more bits may be selected and/or adjustment may be configured to reduce detectability of an encryption key used in encrypting messages.

  • Patent number: 10708710
Abstract: A computer system determines location probabilities for defined sub-areas (41, 43) of a geographical area (4), e.g. for squares arranged in a grid (40), based on field strengths expected in the small sub-areas (41, 43) from the antennas (A1, A2 A3, A4), and based on the antenna used by the mobile communication terminal. The location probabilities indicate for a sub-area (41, 43) the probability that the mobile communication terminal is located in the respective sub-area (41, 43). The computer system determines at least one ellipse defining the location area, based on the location probabilities of the sub-areas (41, 43). The location probabilities make it possible to determine elliptical location areas of mobile users much smaller than the area each antenna does cover physically, but without the need for measuring at the mobile communication terminal signal properties such as signal strength or observed time differences.

The arrangement of recording devices comprises at least one local recording device and one or more upstream recording devices. The local recording device, when it is not possible or convenient to record the data or a part of the data during the time of transmission, is capable of issuing an upstream record instruction, thereby delegating the task of recording and/or storing the data or part of the data to an upstream recording device on the network. The upstream recording device may in turn, if necessary, delegate the recording and/or storage of all or part of the data to further upstream recording devices.

  • Patent number: 10645594
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for data-driven roll-out planning optimization. A network roll-out plan, for a network that includes a plurality of cells, may be generated by assessing at least one carrier aggregation (CA) scenario for a particular sector in the network, between two or more cells of the plurality of cells; detecting for the carrier aggregation (CA) scenario, a congestion situation based on probabilities of one or more possible cell connection configurations in the sector, and a predefined minimal throughput level; and assessing achievable data throughput for users in the sector. Cells within a sector where congestion primarily may occur may be identified, based on obtained data associated with the network. The identifying may include comparing at least one ratio of contribution between cells with a balancing ratio. It may be determined whether an identified cell is primarily affected by a coverage or a capacity issue.
